Resource Analysis:
In this unit, students will learn about the importance of geography by learning about the world and different geographical locations. They will explore some new concept , vocabulary and structures relevant to the subject matter and learn how to describe different geographical locations by taking into account culture, population, language, physical location, climate and landscapes. I use a video, some pictures and I make a slide show to arouse students interest.
Student Analysis:
Students in junior high school tend to grasp the new words and phrases. It is good for them to improve their reading, speaking and writing abilities. The lesson is related to their geography knowledge. It抯 a little difficult for the students to describe something about the continent.

After this class, about 85% of students will be able to know the new words and new phrases of lesson 42. About 60% can use the new words and phrases in some right situations.

Students will learn some patterns and try to use them in the suitable situation.
