一、教材分析
●语言知识
1?能听懂、认知三种颜色:black,white,brown
2?听懂、会读、会说: on,in,under
3?听懂、会实际运用: Where is … It?s…/I don?t know. Let?s look.
●语言技能
使学生能够熟练认知本课知识并运用在实际生活中。
●情感态度
调动学生学习英语的积极性,培养他们学英语的兴趣,并使这种兴趣转变为学生积极学习的动力,培养主动学习的习惯。
二、教学准备
1?多媒体课件;
2?十张poster(red,yellow,blue,green,orange,purple,pink,black,white,brown);
3?十种颜色英文单词的教师卡片;
4? 记分牌:2个(比赛时使用)。
三、教学步骤
Step I Class Opening (4 minutes)
1?Greeting
Hello, class! How are you Nice to meet you!
2?Sing a song.
T: Would you like to sing the“ABC Song”with me Please sing it and do actions with me!
[设计思路:利用简短的问候,活泼的歌曲,为学生创造一个轻松、愉快的学英语的气氛,能够调动学生学习的积极性。]
3?Review
T: We have learned many colors. Do you remember them Now,look here. I?ll show you some colors.If you know it, please stand up and say it as fast as you can! Are you ready


[设计思路:老师用多媒体出示十种颜色,这十种颜色依次在屏幕上闪烁,最后停在一种颜色上,谁知道谁就站起来大声说出。本环节既复习与本课相关的颜色,以旧引新,又锻炼了学生的反应速度。]
Step II New Concepts(34 minutes)
1?Teach the colors: black, white, brown
Present
(教师继续上一环节的游戏,出示课件,当出示为白色时)

T: Oh, it?s a new color. Please look and listen, try to learn it by yourselves.
(教师继续播放课件,课件中声音是chant: I see something white. I see something white.)
(教师停止课件,提问学生)
T: What color is this
(Correct the pronunciations and show the teacher?s card “white”. Let the students practice it line by line.)
[设计思路:从复习到新授,过渡自然,不会割裂知识的整体性,学生易于掌握。在游戏中出现了学生们不认识的生词,有利地调动了学生们的学习欲望,使原本被动的学习,变成了积极主动的学习。另外,学生们通过听课件,达到自学新词的目的,培养学生的自学能力。]
T: Is this white (教师指墙上贴的poster中的任一个颜色,让学生们抢答。)
T: Please point to something white.Circle something white.
(Use the same way to teach black and brown.)
Practice
T: Is this brown (Point to the desk.)
T: Is this black (Point to one of the posters.)
T: Is this white (Show a pencil.)
T: Show me something black./Underline something white./Point to something brown./Circle something white.

T: What color is this (Point to one of the students? shirts.)
[设计思路:利用生活中的颜色练习,起到学以致用的目的。]
Chant
T: OK,class. Now let?s say a Color Chant.— Point to red,point to blue, point to green and yellow too. Now what color do you see Point to it and then tell me! (Point to a surprising color.)
(教师改编)
Point to green, point to blue, point to black and purple too. Now what color do you see Point to it and then tell me!(Point to another surprising color.)

[设计思路:Chant的设计,同学们非常喜爱,能够使学生学习得轻松、愉快,而又使教学效果显著,课堂气氛活跃。而且本课的Color Chant在原chant的基础上进行了恰当的改编,使chant的练习生动不枯燥。]
2. Learn a new sentence: Let?s look.
Present
T(紧接上一步骤学习颜色,老师提问):Do you know what color is Danny
T: And Danny comes here today. (出示课件,图片中Danny 正在向同学们挥手,但是转眼Danny 就消失了。)

T (老师迷惑地问):Oh Where is Danny Let?s look.
T: Where is Danny — Let?s look. Say after me. Let?s look.
Game
T: Where is Danny
Let?s look for Danny. Please ask other stadents.
(老师问学生1 :Where is Danny 学生1问学生2,再继续由学生1和学生2去问学生3和学生4,之后学生1、2、3、4再去问其他同学,直至全班同学都参与会话练习。学生们因为不知道Danny 在哪里,所以可以回答:I don?t know.)
[设计思路: 动起来,与其他同学对话是一种学生喜爱的交际形式,既能达到练习对话“Where is Danny I don?t know.”的目的,又能活跃课堂气氛。]
3.Teach three prepositions: on,in, under.
Demonstrate
T (当全班同学都正在寻找Danny时):OK,class,please go back to your seat and sit down. Now look, here is Danny.(教师指着课件中桌子下面的Danny。)
T: Jenny and Li Ming also want to find Danny. Please look and listen.
(播放课件,桌子下的Danny 说:“under the desk”)
T: Where is Danny Under the desk. Under, under,say after me.
(把under 写在黑板上早已画好的桌子下方。任选一行学生进行练习。)
T: (再次出示课件,Danny又消失了。)Oh,where is Danny Please look and listen.(课件中Danny出现在桌子上,并且说 “on the desk”)
T: Where is Danny
Ss: On the desk.
T: On, on,say after me.(把on板书在黑板上已画好的桌子的上面。)
Ss: On,on.(practice it in a line)
T: (再次出示课件,Danny又消失了)Danny must joke with us. Look and listen.(Danny出现在桌子里并说“in the desk”)
T: Where is Danny
Ss: In the desk.
T: In, in, say after me.(把in板书在黑板上画好的桌子里面)
Ss:In, in.(practice in a line)
oninunder[设计思路:此处教学的设计,很好地利用多媒体课件来吸引学生的注意力,而设置的悬念能够利用同学们的好奇心理,调动同学们学习的主动性,在一定程度上起到了降低学习难度的作用,而且还逐渐培养学生们的自学能力。]
Practice (Use in, on and under with colors.)
Put a blue pencil on the pencil?case.
T: Where is the blue pencil
Ss:On the pencil?case.
Use other colors and objects to practice.
[设计思路:此处 practice的设计,可以有效地巩固新学习颜色以及培养了学生综合运用语言的能力,让学生在动中学习,增强学生的学习兴趣。]
Race
T: Today Danny will lead us a competition. First, Danny will divide you into 2 teams. Then, he?ll show you a picture and each of you try to guess “where it is”. Use in the…, under the…, or on the… If you?re right, Danny will give your team one point.
学生们进行猜测方位的比赛。课件内容举例如下:

[设计思路:用多媒体辅助教学来进行游戏,能够节省时间,使学生在很短的时间内进行高密度的练习。而且在课中设置比赛能够最大限度地调动同学们的积极性,很好地利用同学们争强好胜的心理,使其转化为强大的学习动力。]
Step III Class Closing(2minutes)
T: OK, class, let?s check our points.(If the two teams have the same points. Then both of them are winners. If not, then give the less points team a chance to sing a song. Thus both of them are winners.)
T: Class, you all did a very good job today. Bye!
[设计思路:整堂课学习的过程,同学们都做出了积极的表现,因此比赛时为了不挫伤学生的学习积极性,比赛结果最好是平分,假如一组的分数少于另一组,我们可以给他们组一个机会,唱一支歌或者说chant,然后给他们一定的分,以使两个组最终有一个相同的分数。这样既不会挫伤积极性和自尊心,又可以复习、巩固以前学过的歌曲,同时活跃了课堂气氛。
