Lesson 8: Danny’s Favourite Colour!
一、Analysis of the teaching material
In this unit, the students will learn the English words for a variety of clothing they wear to school and after school as well as clothing worn for different types of weather. The students are also introduced to colours, including the colours of the rainbow, primary colours and how secondary colours are made. Lesson 8 is talking about colours, the students will learn many colours in our life.
二、Analysis of the students
The students of grade seven have mastered certain vocabularies and sentences in primary school. Through the last lessons, they can talk about clothes and colours simply. But they don抰 know how to talk with partners about their favourite colour in a proper way. Students are very燼ctive爄n class. They are interested in different colours .

(2).Master the usages of want to do sth.;How about…?=What about…?; How many… How much…;look at; in the sky; come out.
(3). Talk with partners about their favourite colours.

(2). Make the students love colour, love our colourful world and colourful life through this lesson.

Step one: Lead-in(5?minutes)
1. At the beginning of the class, say “hello” to students .
2. Play the pictures and ask some questions.

T:How many colours do you see?

T:What is your favourite colour?
S:My favourite colour is......

Step two: New lesson study(16minutes)
Part one: What's Danny's favourite colour?
Read the lesson and find the answers.

(At first, listen to the text and find the answer in the text. Then ask a student to answer it. )

Explain the important points and ask the students to learn by heart.
