Greeting
Greet the class. Say: Good morning/afternoon, Class. How are you today?
Ask some students to reply.
Review

Step1: Present
Put up a picture of the world and say:
What does world mean?
Different people wear different clothes around the world. Explain 揹ifferent. Hold up two different books and say:
These two books are different.
Explain 搒ame. Hold up two books that the same
揇ifferent and 搒ame are opposites.
Ask the students to look at the pictures in Lesson 11 and name some
of the clothes they can see. Then ask:
What does 搕raditional mean?
Ask the students to point to the pictures of people in traditional clothes and say:
He /She is or They are wearing traditional clothes.
What is a uniform?
Ask the students to point to the pictures of people in uniforms and say:
They are wearing their uniforms.
Step2: Read and discuss
INDIVIDUAL WORK: Ask the students to read Lesson11 silently.
PAIR WORK: Have the students discuss the questions in Let抯 Do It! No.1 with a partner.
CLASS WORK: Ask the class to read Lesson11 aloud. Then ask some students to share their answers with the class and have a discussion.
Step3: Listen
CLASS WORK: Let抯 Do It! No.2
Play the audiotape for Lesson 11and complete the activity. Check the answers as a class.
Step4: Practice
Ask five volunteers to come to the front. Give each volunteer a piece of clothing to wear. One at a time, ask the volunteers:
Do you like your/Do you like to wear(clothes)?
Allow each volunteer to respond, then ask the other students in the class to describe one of the volunteers. Say:
How do they look?
Students may say:
(Volunteer抯 name) is wearing a pink dress. She looks pretty.
(Volunteer抯 name)抯 yellow hat looks good.
(Volunteer抯 name) looks nice in his green shorts.
Step5: Task
The students can complete Let抯 Do It! No.4 independently or in pairs.
Tell the students that they will present their completed task at the start of the next class. If necessary, the students may complete the task for homework.
