1、能认读big,small,tall,short,fast,slow,old,young,thin,heavy;
2、能用“Who do you like? I like….”表达喜欢谁;用“He/She is….”说明人或事物的外部特征;
3、能理解故事内容朗读对话;
4、懂得不能小看别人,意识到人各有所长都有不同的技能或才艺。

理解故事内容,能认读big, small, tall等形容词。
难点:
运用句型“He/She is….”说明人或事物外部特征。
三、教学过程:
Step1 Warm up
1、Greetings
2、Sing a song
Lead in
Show a picture about Yao Ming.
T:Do you know him? Where is he from? How about his height?
Ss: Yao Ming is from China. He is tall.
Show two toy bears, one is thin the other is heavy.
T:What’s the difference between two bears?
Ss: ……
T:One bear is thin, but the other is heavy.
Step2
Listen and Read
1、What animals can you see? Where are they from? How old are they?
2、Listen again, and then answer the questions.
Look at the animals. What do they do?
What do you think about Mocky’s behavior?
a:Read for yourself and find the answers.
b:Communication in your group.
c:Check the answers.
Step3
1、Read the text.
Such as the whole class read, groups read, and so on.
2、Role plays.
Divide into groups. Choose the role you like. Choose some groups to show their performance.
Step4 Talk Together
Show an interview picture.
Who are they?
Who do you like?
Teacher plays Bobby and asks some questions.
Students play Mocky and answer questions.
Step5 Let’s Sing
Look at the picture.
What animals are they? What do they look like?
