尊敬的各位老师:
大家好!我非常高兴有机会和各位老师共同交流学习。今天我执教的课题是人教版七年级下册Unit 7 What does he look like Section A的1a-2b部分。教学目标是要求学生能够学会本课关于人物外貌描写的生词:hair, curly,straight, height, tall, medium, thin,heavy,build,同学能够通过课堂活动任务理解和掌握以下句型:
--What do you look like
--I’m thin and tall.
-- What does he/she look like
--He/She is tall and has long hair.
并指导学生通过学习和操练,了解关注身边的人,学会友好地描述别人的形象。培养学生尊重他人的品德,不以貌取人。
七年级学生由于年龄小,生性活泼好动,喜欢直观形象思维。针对学生现状,我用一段Snow White动画电影片断开始导入新课。目的在于活跃气氛,调动学生的积极性,减少学生的紧张情绪。白雪公主的故事孩子们非常熟悉,这一片断是王后询问魔镜的一段对话,所以与此课人物外貌相关,这样引入就能自然过渡到本节课的内容。本节课的第二环节主要是处理新单词,在新单词学习的基础之上,通过描述姚明、潘长江、孙悟空、猪八戒的人物外形穿插进句型的学习。之后的Pairwork 内容是让同学们描述自己朋友的外形。这样更形象,更贴近生活,学生更容易接受,加强了学生间的合作与交流。第四个环节回归到课本的听力部分,通过前面基础知识的层层铺垫,此时进行听力练习,学生才能得心应手。第五环节Summary之后,Groupwork是让同学们设想一下20岁时的自己会是什么样子。设计这个任务目的在于让学生能学有所用,描述自己的未来,给自己设计一个新形象,学生们十分激动,此时的气氛很活跃,也让这节课别开生面,乐趣横生。通过这一活动,使学生在掌握一定的英语基础知识和基本技能的基础上,能与小组成员合作共同完成学习任务,发展语言的综合运用能力,并创造性地使用英语表达自己的思想。本课的最后,我向学生灌输了“A good fame is better than a good face.”美名远重于美貌这么一种思想,教会学生不能以貌取人。
当然,我在本课的设计环节中,还存在着很多不恰当的地方。恳请在座的各位专家、老师提出宝贵意见。 (共29张PPT)
