Knowledge Objectives:
1) New words: timetable, subject, English, Chinese, Maths, Science, Music, Physical Education, Art and Craft
2) To use nouns to identity events.
3) To use the simple present tense to express habitual actions, feelings, interests and opinions..
Ability Objectives: To use the simple present tense skillfully.
Moral Objectives: To stimulate students to love the subjects they learn and their school life.
Difficulty and key points:
1. The pronunciation of the new words.
2. The simple present tense.
Teaching materials and learn affection analysis:
牛津英语教学的特点就是主题式螺旋上升模式。每个模块都有自己的主题。我将要教学的内容来自模块Places and activities。本课的教学内容是一篇阅读课文,相对五年级的学生来说本课的篇幅较长,在一篇课文中新单词也属较多。Ben’s timetable 在A day at school这个单元,主要是学会使用学科名词来介绍课程表,反映在学校生活的学习情况。因此在本课时的教学设计上,我着重语段的教学,在语段中理解词的含义。最后学生能够对课程表有整体了解,并能从中设计出自己喜欢的timetable。

Then read the first paragraph by individuals.Have Ss read the rest of the text, and try to find all of the phrases about time by themseves, to elicit a chain about Ben’s timetable.Have Ss read the passage by themselves. Then ask them to talk about their own timetable in pairs. 有关时间的对话不但复习了学过的句型,也为接下来的课做准备。通过学生非常熟悉的课程表让学生对课有一个初步的了解。视频采访介绍学生喜爱的课程,让学生生动直观地了解课程名称。让学生自主学习,帮助学生理解科目的内含。与学生的对话有效地解决了语段中的关键词,并适当拓展,加深学生对各门课程的理解。通过游戏,让学生巩固所学科目的单词,并对课程表有进一步了解。播放声音文件作为听力训练,减少了学习的枯燥。通过初步阅读,引导学生找出所有有关时间表达的词组,形成一条关于Ben 学校生活的时间链,为下面的具体讲解埋下伏笔。让学生在自主阅读的基础上根据自己的能力选择不同层次的任务以检验自己的阅读效果。信息技术穿插其中,方便学生对语段关键词的理解与运用。检测学生对语段的理解程度,提高阅读技巧。通过直观演示使学生更快地掌握几种时间的表达方法。生生合作,培养学生的合作能力。
