从句高考研究英语中的连词用法比较复杂。同一个连词可以表达不同的意思，同一个意思可以用不同的连词进行表达，因此在学习连词时应注意以下几点：熟练掌握每一个连词的不同意义和用法；掌握同一意义可以运用不同的连词；同一意义可以运用不同的句式表达等等。高考中对于连词的考查主要表现在对于并列连词和从属连词的用法和辨析上进行考查。这是考试的重点和难点所在。状语从句一般可分为时间状语从句、地点状语从句、原因状语从句、目的状语从句、结果状语从句、条件状语从句、让步状语从句、比较状语从句、方式状语从句。预测今后高考主要考查在具体的语境中连词的正确使用。
易错点睛
易错点1 没有搞清楚题干的逻辑关系，误选了并列连词
【易错题1】The artist was born poor, poor he remained all his life.
A. and B. or C. but D. so
(3)and连接两个定语从句时，and后面的引导词不可省略。如：This is the paper I read every dayand which I find SO interesting．这就是我每天都读的报纸，我发现这份报纸是那样的有趣。

(4)or用在特殊疑问句中表示选择，提出几种情况供对方作出答复。如：Which fruit do you like，oranges or apples 你喜欢哪种水果，橘子还是苹果 I like apples better．我更喜欢苹果。

【错因透视】once引导的状语从句中，要用一般现在时表示将来的动作，意为“一旦……就……”。如：Once youshow any fear，he will attack you．一旦你表现出胆怯，他就会攻击你。Once printed，this dictionary will be very popular!一旦出版，这部词典将会非常畅销!另外，once还可以用作副词和名词，意为“一次，从前，曾经”。如：Once a month，he has to collect money fromhis customers．每月一次，他得去向顾客收钱。Once a year a race is held for old cars．每年举行一次旧式小汽车比赛。
易错点4混淆引导条件状语从句和引导其他状语从句的连词
【易错题1】The medicine works more effectively ______ you drink some hot water after taking it.

易错点5 对引导让步状语从句的连词感到陌生而导致误选
【易错题l】______ the police thought he was the most likely one, since they had no exact proof about it, they could not arrest him.
