Step1.Pre-reading
Learn“clown”
Show a picture of a clown. Say: Let’s meet a new friend. Look, who is he?
Play a game: Who has a good memory?
Way: watch a video about the clown and answer
Q1: What’s the clown’s favourite food\ holiday?
Learn: snacks, Children’s Day
Q2: What is he going to do on Children’s Day?(Going to a party)
Show: Unit5 A party.
Be prepared for the party
What are you going to bring to the party?
What are you going to do at the party?

What is the clown going to do at the party?Guess.
Is he going to…?(tell a story\ watch a cartoon\enjoy the story)
Let’s go to Mike’s house and have a party. The party begins.
Step 2 While-reading
The first program: Listening to a story
Listen and circle:Who are going to the party at Mike’s house?
The second program: Watching a cartoon

教学反思
1.朗读的指导，不能只停留在表面。原来教学完课文以后，我通常让学生们一齐跟读一下课文，就进入课文表演或复述环节。可试上以后，通过姜主任的指导，才意识到以往在朗诵指导上存在很大的不足，很大程度上抹杀了一群喜欢朗读英语的孩子的积极性。朗诵指导可以把一些较难的句型的重音和语调进行指导，在齐跟读的基础上，再加入个别读。跟读环节结束，还让学生以小组合作的方式，选择自己喜欢的方式进行朗读，如小组齐读，分角色读或一人领读等方式。这样孩子们的朗读能力有了很大的提高。
2.录像的合理运用，更创造了真实的情景。通过课前拍摄录像，把Party 这一主线更灵活的运用于教学之中，更通过录像生动地为孩子们的表演创造了一个很好的示范，孩子们的表演能更真实、出彩。
3.环节要清晰明朗，不能把简单的内容复杂化。在初次备课时，我考虑了要把Party这一主线贯穿始终，于是在备课时设计了Mike和学生们喜爱的动画人物熊大熊二以及白雪公主来参加聚会，并在聚会中表演相应的节目，但试上后，觉得过于繁琐，有的学生反而会走神，从熊大熊二想到了光头强，因此在正式上课后，将所有人物都换成party中出现的clown,这样既紧扣party主线，又使教学环节设计清晰明朗。
一次上课，就是一次进步，在积累中磨练自己，在磨练中成长自己。
