本课时为本单元的第一课时,内容为Part A的Let's try和Let's talk。本课时主要学习询问活动安排的句型“—What are you going to do?—I'm going to...”让学生能够在真实情景中谈论自己的周末计划。
知识目标
1.能够听、说、读、写句子:What are you going to do tomorrow? I'm going to have an art lesson.We're going to draw some pictures in Renmin Park.
2.能够用句型“—What are you going to do?—I'm going to...”询问对方的活动安排并作答;
3.能独立完成本部分听力练习;

Step 1:Warm?up
1.教师用多媒体课件快速展示单词或词组,如:draw a picture, swim , dance, do homework, watch TV, cook, wash clothes, clean the room, go for a picnic, read books, play football, go shopping, play computer games...让学生进行抢答,迅速读出这些单词或词组及其中文意思,看谁说得又快又准确。
2.教师用多媒体展示chant,师生一起唱。如:
Picture, picture.I'm going to draw a picture.
Swim, swim. I'm going to swim.
Football, football.I'm going to play football.
Homework, homework.I'm going to do my homework.
What are you going to do? What are you going to do?
通过玩游戏来复习之前学过的动词及词组,为接下来的学习做铺垫;把本课中出现的动词(词组)编成一首歌谣,不仅能对新知识进行预热,也能在一定程度上活跃课堂气氛,激发学生的学习兴趣。

本部分通过萨拉和迈克打电话的场景引出本课时的新句型,也提供了下一环节Let's talk中的人物及背景信息,为学习Let's talk做准备。
·教学建议
(1)师生日常交流,如:
T:What do you usually do on weekends?
S1:Watch TV.
S2:Do homework.
S3:Play basketball.
...
T:It's Saturday morning.Sarah is on the phone with Mike. Let's see what they are going to do.
(2)教师让学生阅读问题及备选项,预测听力内容。教师播放录音,学生选择正确答案并核对答案。
(3)教师再次播放录音,学生跟读,感受其语音、语调。
2.Let's talk
·教材意图
本部分通过萨拉和迈克打电话的场景呈现了重点句型“—What are you going to do...? —I'm going to...”让学生感受该句型的语义及语用情景。
·教学建议
(1)教师与学生进行问答,如:
T:What day is it today?
Ss:It's Thursday.
T:What day is it tomorrow?
Ss:It's Friday.
T:Yes,tomorrow is Friday.
教师板书单词tomorrow并教读,让学生跟读。
(2)T:What are Mike and Sarah going to do tomorrow?Let's find out.
教师让学生自读Let's talk的对话,并标出不理解的地方,如:be going to、have an art lesson、see a film等。
(3)教师板书句子:What are you going to do tomorrow?教师讲解一般将来时的用法:一般将来时表示将来某一时刻将要发生的动作或存在的状态,或将来某一时间段内经常发生的动作或状态。教师先让学生回忆五年级下册所学结构“will+动词原形”表一般将来时的用法,然后讲解“be going to+动词原形”表一般将来时的用法。教师带领学生操练该句子,如:
T:Be going to do.
Ss:Be going to do.
T:What are you going to do?
Ss:What are you going to do?
T:What are you going to do tomorrow?
Ss:What are you going to do tomorrow?
(4)教师拿出画板问学生:What are you going to do tomorrow?学生用中文回答:我们要上美术课。教师板书并教读句子:I'm going to have an art lesson.然后让学生与同桌进行问答练习,如:
S1:What are you going to do tomorrow?
S2:I'm going to have an art lesson.
S2:What are you going to do tomorrow?
S1:I'm going to have an art lesson.
(5)教师拿出画笔,做出在画板上画画的动作,问学生:What are you going to do tomorrow?学生回答:We're going to draw some pictures.教师板书句子:We're going to draw some pictures in Renmin Park.教师教读,学生跟读。
(6)教师用多媒体展示电影院的图片,问学生:What are you going to do tomorrow?学生用中文回答:我要去看电影。教师板书并教读词组see a film,然后讲解其含义。
(7)教师播放录音,学生听录音并回答问题:What are Mike and Sarah going to do tomorrow?教师核对答案。教师再次播放录音,学生跟读,感受会话中人物的语音、语调。
(8)学生与同桌分角色朗读对话。然后教师邀请几组学生表演对话。
Step 3:Practice
1.教师用多媒体展示一些日常活动的图片,如滑冰、洗衣服、画画、堆雪人、野餐。学生根据图片内容,谈论每幅图片对应的英文短语。然后教师邀请几名学生说出自己的答案。全班同学一起核对答案。
2.教师让学生先写下自己的周末计划,然后将全班同学分为四人一组。小组内成员用句型“—What are you going to do? —I am going to...”互相进行采访,并将采访结果记录下来。每组派一名代表把组内成员的周末计划汇报给老师。如:
T:What is...going to do?
S1:She/He is going to...
T:What are...going to do?
S1:They are going to...
3.教师邀请一名学生到讲台上来,给他看一张关于活动的图片,然后该学生用哑剧的形式表演出该活动,其他学生根据他的表演猜短语,并用“I am going to...”说出来。教师可以邀请多名学生上台表演,最后看谁猜得又多又准确。
Step 4:Consolidation and extension
1.教师示范书写本课时重点句子,让学生仿写。比一比谁写得最好。
2.教师出示打乱顺序的单词卡片,如:what,do,going,are,tomorrow,to,you等。要求学生在最短的时间内把单词组合成句。对于其中比较难的词句,师生一起朗读。

本课时主要进行会话教学。教师在教学时使用了多种道具,为学生创设了真实的情境,并采用多种形式对单词和句子进行练习,让课堂更加生动,带动了学生学习的积极性。在新知识巩固阶段,教师通过看图片猜短语以及互相采访组内成员的周末活动等游戏对本课时的重要短语、句型进行了反复操练,让学生能够对所学知识活学活用,达到了良好的教学效果。同时,哑剧表演也激发了学生的表演欲,充分锻炼了学生的表演能力。
