Period 1 Part A Let's try,Let's talk
本课时为本单元的第一课时,内容为Part A的Let's try和Let's talk。主要学习句型:—What does he/she do?—He/She is...让学生能够用该句型在实际情景中谈论他人的职业。
知识目标
1.能够听、说、认读三会单词和词组:country、head teacher;
2.能够用句型“—What does he/she do? —He/She is...”询问他人的职业并回答;
3.能够独立完成相应的练习。
能力目标
1.能够在真实情景中灵活运用所学词汇和句型谈论他人的职业;
2.培养学生的听力技巧。
情感目标
教育学生要树立正确的价值观,尊重他人的职业。
教学重点
掌握核心句型:—What does he/she do? —He/She is...
教师讲解,学生与同桌替换关键词反复进行对话练习,以突破重点。
教学难点
能够用句型“I want to be a/an...”谈论自己的理想。
学生反复朗读,并在小组内替换关键词进行对话练习。
多媒体课件、单词卡。
Step 1:Warm?up
1.教师用多媒体出示学过的职业名词的图片,如:doctor、teacher、nurse、driver、farmer、football player等。学生抢答,然后根据图片说出其对应的名词,回答正确得一分。
2.教师和学生根据学过的职业名词玩接龙游戏,如:
T:My father is a doctor.What about your father?
S1:My father is a driver.What about your father?
S2:My father is a teacher.What about your father?
S3:My father is a football player.What about your father?
...
抢答的形式激发了学生学习的积极性,通过图片说单词的游戏和接龙游戏,唤醒了学生的旧知识,为新课的学习做准备。
Step 2:Presentation
1.Let's try
·教材意图
通过奥利弗和萨拉谈论父母工作的场景呈现本课时重要句型,也为Let's talk的学习提供人物和背景信息,为进入对话学习做准备。
·教学建议
(1)教师让学生观察问题,预测听力内容。
(2)教师播放录音,学生选择正确答案。
(3)教师第二次播放录音,学生根据录音检查答案是否正确,教师核对答案。
(4)教师展示听力材料,再次播放录音,让学生检查与自己听到的内容是否一致。
2.Let's talk
·教材意图
通过奥利弗与萨拉谈论父母职业的场景引出本课时核心句型,让学生感受该句型的语义及语用情景。
·教学建议
(1)教师问学生:If today is Parents' Day,who will come here today?学生可根据自己的实际情况回答。教师说:My father can't come here.He is a businessman.He is very busy.教师板书businessman,并采用拆分法教读。
(2)教师接着说:My mother will come here.Do you know her job?教师引导学生问:What does your mother do?教师板书此句并领读,然后回答:She is a head teacher.教师板书词组head teacher并教读,然后讲解其含义。教师让学生同桌之间替换关键词操练句型:—What does he/she do?—He/She is...如:
S1:What does he do?
S2:He is a businessman.What does she do?
S1:She is a head teacher.
(3)教师问学生:Do you want to be a head teacher,too?学生回答:Yes,I do./No,I don't.教师接着问学生:What do you want to be?教师引导学生用“I want to be a/an...”进行回答。教师板书句型:—What do you want to be?—I want to be a/an...教师教读,学生跟读。教师让学生分小组替换关键词操练该句型,如:
S1:What do you want to be?
S2:I want to be a doctor.What do you want to be?
S1:I want to be a teacher.
(4)教师用多媒体展示一张迈克尔·杰克逊唱歌的照片,问学生:What does he do?学生回答:He is a singer.教师继续问:Which country is he from?教师板书country,采用拆分法教读,并讲解其意思。
(5)教师播放录音,学生回答问题:What does Oliver's father/mother do?
(6)教师请两名学生回答问题,然后核对答案。
(7)教师再次播放录音,学生跟读,模仿其语音、语调,然后分组练习对话。
(8)教师请几组学生到台上大声朗读对话。
(9)教师带领学生朗读词汇:taxi driver、cleaner、writer、singer、dancer、football player,然后让学生用句型“—What does your father/mother do?—He/She is...”进行对话练习。
Step 3:Practice
1.教师拿出已经准备好的职业名词单词卡,正面向下放在讲桌上,一名学生随机抽取一张单词卡,然后用一句话描述卡片上的职业,如:
I sing a song.
I drive a taxi.
I play basketball.
然后问其他学生:What do I do?其他学生根据描述说出职业名词,答对得一分,对于表现优异者教师给予奖励。
2.教师自编歌谣,师生一起唱,巩固本课时重要句型。如:
What does your father do? What does your father do?
He's a doctor. He's a doctor.
He's a great doctor.
What does your mother do? What does your mother do?
She's a teacher. She's a teacher.
She's a super teacher.
Step 4:Consolidation and extension
1.学生自主阅读教材,提出疑问,教师答疑。
2.学生抄写重点句子。
3.学生把Let's talk的对话读给家长听。

本课时主要学习如何询问他人的职业。教师在热身阶段带领学生对以前学过的职业名词进行了复习,通过旧知识引出新知识,让学生更容易接受新知识。在听听力录音前,教师让学生先看问题、预测听力材料,然后再有目的地去听录音,培养了学生良好的听力习惯。在会话学习阶段,教师通过创设情景以及图片引出本课时重要词汇及句型,让学习不再那么单调。教师还及时让学生对核心句型进行了大量的操练,让所学新知识得到及时地巩固。最后,教师再次通过猜职业名词的游戏和师生一起唱歌谣的活动复习本课时所学的重要词汇和句型,使学生学习热情高涨,大大提高了学习效率,取得了良好的教学成果。
