Summer
is
that
time
of
this
year
2020
when
everyone
looks
to
escape
from
the
boring
activities
of
life.
So
bring
your
kids
to
join
us
to
have
fun
in
the
summer
camp.
Outdoor
Word
Game:
All
you
need
to
do
is
setting
up
many
huge
letters
that
can
be
easily
moved.
These
letters
will
help
kids
spell
out
certain
words.
Teenagers
would
also
love
something
like
this
as
it
gives
them
the
opportunity
to
spend
their
time
in
learning
new
words.
Spray
Painting:
To
bring
out
the
creativity
in
a
person,
an
activity
centered
on
spray
painting
is
the
perfect
way
to
get
those
creative
juices
flowing.
All
you
need
to
do
is
providing
plain
white
T-shirt
and
some
cans
of
colored
spray
paint.
It
will
be
quite
surprising
to
see
some
of
the
original
ideas
that
will
flow
from
individuals.
Outdoor
Twister:
A
person
will
be
in
charge
of
monitoring
the
game
and
will
call
out
colors
which
can
be
placed
outdoors.
Participants
have
the
task
of
placing
either
their
hands
or
legs
on
the
same
color.
A
fun
and
exciting
game
focuses
on
hand-eye
coordination
(协调).
The
Maze
(迷宫):
One
of
the
most
fun
games
is
the
hallway
maze
game
where
a
maze
is
constructed
from
either
toilet
paper
or
strings
of
paper.
The
chosen
participant
is
then
asked
to
make
his
way
through
the
maze
within
a
limited
time
without
touching
paper.
This
is
one
of
the
best
and
entertaining
summer
camp
ideas
for
kids
and
adults
also.

B
We
lived
in
a
very
quiet
neighborhood.
One
evening
I
heard
a
loud
crash
in
the
street.
Earlier
that
evening
my
wife
had
asked
me
to
go
to
the
store
to
get
some
soft
drinks.
It
seemed
that
this
would
be
a
good
time
to
let
my
teenage
daughter
Holly
practice
her
driving,
so
I
sent
her
to
the
store
in
my
truck.
At
dinner
my
son
talked
about
how
much
he
liked
my
truck.
I
enjoyed
having
it,
but
I
said:
“Guy,
my
heart
is
not
set
on
that
truck.
I
like
it
but
it
is
just
metal
and
won'
t
last
forever.
Never
set
your
heart
on
anything
that
won't
last.”
After
hearing
the
loud
noise,
the
whole
family
ran
outside.
My
son
shouted:
“Dad!
Dad,
Holly
crashed
your
truck.”
The
accident
had
happened
in
my
own
driveway.
Holly
had
crashed
my
truck
into
our
other
vehicle.
In
her
inexperience,
she
had
confused
the
brakes
and
the
gas
pedal
.
Holly
was
unhurt
physically
but
when
we
reached
her,
she
was
crying
and
saying:
“Oh,
Dad,
I'm
sorry.
I
know
how
much
you
love
this
truck.”
I
held
her
in
my
arms
as
she
cried.
Later
that
week
a
friend
stopped
by
and
asked
what
had
happened
to
my
truck.
I
told
her
the
whole
story.
Her
eyes
moistened
and
she
said
:
“That
happened
to
me
when
I
was
a
girl.
I
borrowed
my
dad'
s
car
and
ran
into
a
tree
that
had
fallen
across
the
road.
I
ruined
the
car.
When
I
got
home,
my
Dad
knocked
me
to
the
ground
and
began
to
kick
me.”
Over
40
years
later,
she
still
felt
the
pain
of
the
night.
I
remember
how
sad
Holly
was
on
the
night
she
crashed
our
truck,
and
how
I
comforted
her.
One
day,
when
Holly
thinks
back
on
her
life,
I
want
her
to
know
that
I
love
her
a
thousand
times
more
than
any
piece
of
property.
4.
What
do
we
know
about
Holly?
A.
She
crashed
her
car.
B.
She
was
badly
injured.
C.
She
ran
into
a
fallen
tree
in
the
truck.
D.
She
mistook
the
gas
pedal
for
the
brakes.
5.
What
happened
to
the
author's
friend
after
she
had
the
crash?
A.
Her
father
comforted
her.
B.
She
lost
the
courage
to
drive.
C.
Her
father
was
violent
toward
her.
D.
She
suffered
physical
pain
for
a
long
time.
6.
What
does
the
underlined
word
“property"
in
the
last
paragraph
probably
mean
?
A.
Advice.
B.
Experience.
C.
Possession.
D.
Relationship.
7.
Which
is
the
best
title
of
the
text?
A.
What
Really
Matters
B.
How
to
Educate
Children
C.
Who
Really
Cares
D.
How
to
Be
a
Father
C
It's
a
popular
belief
that
a
fish's
memory
lasts
for
only
seven
seconds.
It
may
seem
sad
to
think
that
they
don't
remember
what
they've
eaten
or
where
they've
been,
and
they
don't
identify
you
or
any
of
their
friends
—
every
moment
in
their
life
would
be
like
seeing
the
world
for
the
first
time.
But
don't
be
so
quick
to
feel
sorry
for
them.
A
new
study
has
found
that
fish
have
a
much
better
memory
than
we
used
to
think.
In
fact,
certain
kinds
of
fish
can
even
remember
events
from
as
long
as
12
days
ago.
In
the
study,
researchers
from
Mac
Ewan
University
in
Canada
trained
a
kind
of
fish
called
African
cichlids
to
go
to
a
certain
area
of
their
tank
to
get
food.
They
then
waited
for
12
days
before
putting
them
back
in
the
tank
again.
Researchers
used
computer
software
to
monitor
the
fish's
movements.
They
found
that
after
such
a
long
break
the
fish
still
went
to
the
same
place
where
they
first
got
food.
This
suggested
that
they
could
remember
their
past
experiences.
In
fact,
scientists
had
been
thinking
for
a
long
time
that
African
cichlids
might
have
a
good
memory.
An
earlier
study
showed
that
they
behaved
aggressively
in
front
of
certain
fish,
perhaps
because
they
remembered
their
past
“fights”.
But
until
the
latest
findings,
there
was
no
clear
evidence.
Just
as
a
good
memory
can
make
our
lives
easier,
it
also
plays
an
important
part
when
a
fish
is
trying
to
survive
in
the
wild."
If
fish
are
able
to
remember
that
a
certain
area
contains
safe
food,
they
will
be
able
to
go
back
to
that
area
without
putting
their
lives
at
risks,
“
lead
researcher
Trevor
Hamilton
told
Live
Science.
For
a
long
time,
fish
were
placed
far
below
chimpanzees,
dolphins
and
mice
on
the
list
of
smart
animals.
But
this
study
has
given
scientists
a
new
understanding
of
their
intelligence.

In
October,
2019,
Beijing
Daily
warned
the
youth
that
they
shouldn't
let
Internet
slang
(俚语)
deepen
the
generation
gap(代沟),after
People
Daily
started
a
discussion
on
Chinese
microblog
Weibo
on
how
to
"explain"
the
youth's
Internet
slang
terms
to
parents.
The
post
got
40,000
likes.
People
were
commenting
that
they
couldn't
keep
up
with
the
rapidly
developing
Internet
lingo
(术语)in
China.
People
also
fear
that
Chinese
Internet
slang
will
negatively
influence
broader
linguistic
(语言的)
trends
of
Mandarin
Chinese,
in
particular,
the
gradual
taking
over
of
pinyin,
the
romanization
of
traditional
Chinese
characters
using
the
Western
alphabet.
As
pinyin
gets
widely
used
when
people
text
or
write
on
mobile
phones
or
computers,
while
less
and
less
people
write
characters
by
hand,
people
gradually
forget
how
to
write
them,
which
is
called
"character
amnesia"
in
China.
2019’s
latest
slang
terms
add
a
further
simplification:
the
use
of
pinyin
acronyms.
"Awsl"
in
pinyin,
for
instance,
means
Ah,
wo
si
le
(Oh,
I'm
gonna
die),
and
is
used
if
something
is
too
cute
or
adorable.
"Nsdd"
stands
for
ni
shuo
de
dui
(you're
right).
Certainly,
as
an
age-old
written
language,
Chinese
has
been
evolving
and
developing
over
the
years.
But
the
Chinese
Internet
lingo
is
unlikely
to
replace
the
existing
use
of
Mandarin
Chinese,
but
will
rather
be
enriching
it
by
adding
another
layer.
Acronyms
aren't
new.
They
have
appeared
with
the
limited
space
available
in
early-generation
cell
phone
messaging.
Some
of
them
have
become
a
part
of
the
English
language
such
as
BTW
(by
the
way)
and
LOL
(laugh
out
loud),
while
others
had
a
rather
short
lifetime.
That's
likely
to
be
what's
going
to
happen
with
China's
Internet
slang
terms.
Some
are
going
to
be
old
in
a
few
weeks,
while
others
might
make
it
into
mainstream
use,
and
as
they
do,
young
net
users
are
coming
up
with
new
slang
words
to
differentiate
themselves.
In
China,
using
Internet
slang
means
belonging
to
a
certain
generation
that
likes
to
watch
the
same
talk
shows,
play
the
same
games,
etc.,
and
therefore,
creates
unity.
Older
generations
don't
have
to
feel
left
out,
and
certainly
don't
have
to
fear
a
degradation
(没落)of
the
Chinese
language.
While
language
development
is
unavoidable,
Internet
slang
is
not
going
to
let
6,000
years
of
Chinese
written
language
completely
change
overnight.
12.
The
public
are
worried
about
Chinese
Internet
slang
abuse
because
A.
It's
used
by
children
to
keep
secrets
from
parents.
B.
It
can
cause
confusion
even
among
young
people.
C.
It
was
invented
in
response
to
the
limited
messaging
space.
D.
It
will
rarely
have
a
positive
effect
on
linguistic
trends
of
Chinese.
13.
How
do
Chinese
Internet
slang
terms
affect
the
Chinese
language?
A.
They
add
variety
to
the
language.
B.
They
are
replacing
its
traditional
vocabulary.
C.
They
make
the
language
more
global.
D.
They
only
have
temporary
effects
on
Chinese.
14.
By
using
Internet
slang
in
China,
people
may
get.
A.
a
sense
of
purpose
B.
a
sense
of
group
identity
C.
a
sense
of
cultural
pride
D.
a
sense
of
safety
15.
Which
could
be
the
best
title
for
the
passage?
A.
Is
Media
Helping
Older
Generation

Internet

B.
Is

B
We
lived
in
a
very
quiet
neighborhood.
One
evening
I
heard
a
loud
crash
in
the
street.
Earlier
that
evening
my
wife
had
asked
me
to
go
to
the
store
to
get
some
soft
drinks.
It
seemed
that
this
would
be
a
good
time
to
let
my
teenage
daughter
Holly
practice
her
driving,
so
I
sent
her
to
the
store
in
my
truck.
At
dinner
my
son
talked
about
how
much
he
liked
my
truck.
I
enjoyed
having
it,
but
I
said:
“Guy,
my
heart
is
not
set
on
that
truck.
I
like
it
but
it
is
just
metal
and
won'
t
last
forever.
Never
set
your
heart
on
anything
that
won't
last.”
After
hearing
the
loud
noise,
the
whole
family
ran
outside.
My
son
shouted:
“Dad!
Dad,
Holly
crashed
your
truck.”
The
accident
had
happened
in
my
own
driveway.
Holly
had
crashed
my
truck
into
our
other
vehicle.
In
her
inexperience,
she
had
confused
the
brakes
and
the
gas
pedal
.
Holly
was
unhurt
physically
but
when
we
reached
her,
she
was
crying
and
saying:
“Oh,
Dad,
I'm
sorry.
I
know
how
much
you
love
this
truck.”
I
held
her
in
my
arms
as
she
cried.
Later
that
week
a
friend
stopped
by
and
asked
what
had
happened
to
my
truck.
I
told
her
the
whole
story.
Her
eyes
moistened
and
she
said
:
“That
happened
to
me
when
I
was
a
girl.
I
borrowed
my
dad'
s
car
and
ran
into
a
tree
that
had
fallen
across
the
road.
I
ruined
the
car.
When
I
got
home,
my
Dad
knocked
me
to
the
ground
and
began
to
kick
me.”
Over
40
years
later,
she
still
felt
the
pain
of
the
night.
I
remember
how
sad
Holly
was
on
the
night
she
crashed
our
truck,
and
how
I
comforted
her.
One
day,
when
Holly
thinks
back
on
her
life,
I
want
her
to
know
that
I
love
her
a
thousand
times
more
than
any
piece
of
property.

【7题详解】
主旨大意题。结合文章讲述了一天晚上,作者的女儿Holly将作者喜爱的卡车撞到了家里另一辆货车上,Holly哭着和作者说对不起。后来作者的朋友来了,告诉了自己相似的经历,但是不同的是作者朋友的父亲选择把朋友打了一顿,40多年过去了,她仍然感到痛苦。作者希望有一天,当女儿Holly回想起她的生活时,想让她知道,自己爱她胜过任何一件财产一千倍。可知,A选项“真正重要的是什么”最符合文章标题。故选A。
C
It's
a
popular
belief
that
a
fish's
memory
lasts
for
only
seven
seconds.
It
may
seem
sad
to
think
that
they
don't
remember
what
they've
eaten
or
where
they've
been,
and
they
don't
identify
you
or
any
of
their
friends
—
every
moment
in
their
life
would
be
like
seeing
the
world
for
the
first
time.
But
don't
be
so
quick
to
feel
sorry
for
them.
A
new
study
has
found
that
fish
have
a
much
better
memory
than
we
used
to
think.
In
fact,
certain
kinds
of
fish
can
even
remember
events
from
as
long
as
12
days
ago.
In
the
study,
researchers
from
Mac
Ewan
University
in
Canada
trained
a
kind
of
fish
called
African
cichlids
to
go
to
a
certain
area
of
their
tank
to
get
food.
They
then
waited
for
12
days
before
putting
them
back
in
the
tank
again.
Researchers
used
computer
software
to
monitor
the
fish's
movements.
They
found
that
after
such
a
long
break
the
fish
still
went
to
the
same
place
where
they
first
got
food.
This
suggested
that
they
could
remember
their
past
experiences.
In
fact,
scientists
had
been
thinking
for
a
long
time
that
African
cichlids
might
have
a
good
memory.
An
earlier
study
showed
that
they
behaved
aggressively
in
front
of
certain
fish,
perhaps
because
they
remembered
their
past
“fights”.
But
until
the
latest
findings,
there
was
no
clear
evidence.
Just
as
a
good
memory
can
make
our
lives
easier,
it
also
plays
an
important
part
when
a
fish
is
trying
to
survive
in
the
wild."
If
fish
are
able
to
remember
that
a
certain
area
contains
safe
food,
they
will
be
able
to
go
back
to
that
area
without
putting
their
lives
at
risks,
“
lead
researcher
Trevor
Hamilton
told
Live
Science.
For
a
long
time,
fish
were
placed
far
below
chimpanzees,
dolphins
and
mice
on
the
list
of
smart
animals.
But
this
study
has
given
scientists
a
new
understanding
of
their
intelligence.

As

"character

2019’s
latest

add
a
further
simplification:
the
use
of
pinyin
acronyms.
"Awsl"
in
pinyin,
for
instance,
means
Ah,
wo
si
le
(Oh,
I'm

is
used
if

"Nsdd"
stands

Certainly
as
an

Chinese

been
evolving

developing
over
the
years.
But
the
Chinese
Internet
lingo
is
unlikely
to
replace
the
existing
use
of
Mandarin
Chinese,
but
will
rather
be
enriching
it
by
adding
another
layer.
Acronyms
aren't
new.
They
have
appeared
with
the
limited

in
early-generation

Some
of
them
have
become
a
part
of
the

such
as
BTW
(by
the

and
LOL
(laugh

while
others
had
a
rather
short
lifetime.
That's
likely
to
be
what's
going
to
happen
with
China's
Internet

terms.
Some
are
going
to
be
old
in
a

while
others
might
make
it
into
mainstream
use,
and
as
they
do,
young
net
users
are
coming
up
with
new
slang
words
to
differentiate
themselves.
In
China,
using
Internet
slang
means
belonging
to
a
certain
generation
that
likes
to
watch
the
same
talk
shows,
play
the
same
games,
etc.,
and
therefore,
creates
unity.
Older
generations
don't
have
to
feel
left
out,
and
certainly
don't
have
to
fear
a
degradation
(没落)of
the
Chinese

While
language
development
is
unavoidable,
Internet

is
not

will
negatively
influence
broader
linguistic(语言的)trends
of
Mandarin
Chinese”
人们还担心,中国的网络俚语会对普通话更广泛的语言趋势产生负面影响。可知,公众担心网络俚语是因为它很少对汉语的语言发展趋势产生积极的影响,故选D项。
【13题详解】
推理判断题。根据第四段“But

is
unlikely
to
replace
the
existing
use
of
Mandarin
Chinese,
but
will
rather

但中文网络用语不太可能取代现有的普通话,而是会通过增加另一层来丰富它。可知,网络用语对中文的影响是增加了语言的多样性,故选A项。
【14题详解】
推理判断题。根据最后一段“In
China,
using
Internet

a
certain
generation
that
likes
to
watch
the

and
therefore,
creates
unity.”在中国,使用网络俚语意味着属于某一代人,喜欢看同样的脱口秀,玩同样的游戏等等,因此,创造团结。可知,在中国使用网路俚语会使人们获得群体认同感,故选B项。
【15题详解】
主旨大意题。
根据第一段“In
October,
2019,
Beijing
Daily
warned
the
youth
that
they
shouldn't
let
Internet
slang
deepen
the
generation
gap”
2019年10月,《北京日报》警告年轻人,他们不应该让网络俚语加深代沟。第一段提到了网络俚语可能加深人们之间的代沟。再根据最后一段“While
language
development
is
unavoidable,
Internet
slang
is
not
going
to
let
6,000
years
of
Chinese
written
language
completely
change
overnight”
虽然语言的发展是不可避免的,但网络俚语不会让6000年的中文书面语言在一夜之间完全改变。最后一段提出网络俚语不会毁灭汉语,所以文章主要围绕着网络俚语是否加剧代沟,毁灭汉语展开。这篇文章最好的题目是“网络俚语正在加剧代沟,毁灭汉语吗?”故选D项。
第二节

The
WHO
released
five
simple
rules
for
preparing
food
in
a
safe
way.
_____16_____
Key
1:Keep
clean
The
first
key
tells
about
the
importance
of
washing.
People
should
wash
their
hands
often—before
touching
food,
while
they
are
preparing
food,
and
any
time
after
they
go
to
the
toilet
People
should
wash
all
surfaces
and
equipment
used
for
preparing
food.
____17____
Key
2:Separate
raw
and
cooked
People
should
separate
raw,
or
uncooked
food
from
foods
that
are
already
cooked
and
foods
that
will
not
be
cooked.
People
should
store
raw
meat,
chicken,
and
fish
in
containers,
or
in
separate
areas
Raw
foods
should
not
touch
prepared
foods.
Key
3:Cook
completely.
People
should
cook
eggs
and
meat,
like
birds,
seafood,
and
animals,
especially
carefully.
These
foods
may
carry
more
micro-organisms
than
other
foods.
____18____
It
is
also
important
that
people
re-heat
cooked
food
completely.
Key
4:____19____
When
people
are
finished
with
eating,
they
should
keep
the
leftover(吃剩的食物)in
a
refrigerator
below
5℃
and
shouldn't
store
it
for
too
long.
At
room
temperature,
about
20℃,
the
amount
of
micro-organisms
can
increase
very
quickly.
But
temperatures
above
60℃
or
below
5℃
control
the
growth
of
micro-organisms.
____20____
Key
5:Use
safe
water
and
raw
materials.
People
should
use
safe
water
and
choose
fresh
foods.
Damaged
or
old
food
may
develop
harmful
chemicals
as
it
gets
older.
A.
Keep
food
at
safe
temperatures.
B.
Eat
cooked
food
immediately,
while
it
is
still
hot.
C.
They
call
these
rules
the
“Five
Keys

D.
Keeping
everything
clean
helps
people
to
avoid
micro-organisms.
E.
They
cannot
grow
so
quickly
in
a
very
hot
or

environment.
F.
People
should
also
protect
cooking
areas
and
food
from
insects
and
animals.
G.
Food
like

must
be
boiled
for
at
least
a

词汇复现包括原词复现、同义词复现、同根词复现、概括词复现以及结构复现等。完形填空所选的文章都是具有逻辑关系、意义相连的语篇,因此,在行文中不可避免地会出现词语的复现、前后同义或反义、相互照应等现象。所以,解题时应联系上下文寻找相关线索,如某一个词的原词、指代词、同义词、近义词、上义词、下义词和概括词等。但由于我们在做题时不可能总是重复地阅读文章,因此,在做完形填空时要培养一种捕捉并记忆相关信息的能力。
原词或同根词复现是指相同的单词或同根词在原文中反复出现,达到衔接文章的目的。本文的第4小题就是原词复现:trying
to
finish
my
college
degree
while
keeping
a

6.考查名词的数。句意:他们总是吃零食而不吃健康的食物。meal为可数名词,前面没有冠词应用复数形式。故meal改为meals。
7.考查主谓一致。句意:此外,一些学生从不锻炼,这导致了体重问题。本句为非限定性定语从句修饰上文整句话,且为一般现在时,故谓语动词应用第三人称单数形式,故lead改为leads。
8.考查固定结构。句意:是时候反思我们的生活方式了。固定句式it
is
time
to
do
sth.“是时候做某事了”后跟不定式,故reflecting改为reflect。
9.考查非谓语动词。句意:通过充足的睡眠,均衡的饮食和经常锻炼,我们可以健康快乐地生活。本句中动名词短语做主语,故eat改为eating。
10.考查固定用法。live为不及物动词,下文没有宾语,故不需要介词。故去掉in。

【答案】Saving
Food
Is
Our
Duty
Nowadays,
wasting
food
seems
very
common.
Take
our
school
canteen
for
example,
some
students
tend
to
fetch
more
food
than
they
can,
so
some
ends
up
in
the
dustbin.
What
a
pity!
Saving
food
is
a
virtue.
Now
we
can
enjoy
nice,
rich
and
safe
foods
in
the
peaceful
times,
but
it
doesn’t
mean
forgetting
where
they
are
from
and
what
happened
in
hungry
days.
Besides,
saving
is
also
good
for
saving
resources
and
living
healthily.
As
young
students,
we
should
regard
saving
food
as
our
duty,
too.
When
eating
in
the
school,
we’d
better
fetch
a
small
order
to
avoid
unnecessary
waste.
If
there
are
leftovers,
we
can
take
them
back
home.
In
short,
it’s
time
to
make
a
change
for
saving
food.
Let’s
mean
what
we
say!

【点睛】[高分句型1]but
it
doesn’t
mean
forgetting
where
they
are
from
and
what
happened
in
hungry
days.
(但这并不意味着忘记他们来自哪里,忘记在饥饿的日子里发生了什么。)本句是where和what引导的宾语从句,做动词forget的宾语,where引导的宾语从句缺少地点状语,用连接词where。what引导的宾语从句缺少主语,用连接词what。
[高分句型2]
If
there
are
leftovers,
we
can
take
them
back
home.(如果有剩下的,我们就带回家。)此处是if引导的条件状语从句,主句用情态动词,从句用一般现在时。
