Peter,
what
things
do
you

M:
Well,
I’m
a
big
football
fan.
So
when
I
don’t
have
much
schoolwork,
I
watch
matches.
What
I
really
like
spending
money
on
is
the
ticket
for
football
matches.
W:
What
do
you
think
teenagers
in
your
country
spend
their
money
on?
M:
I
think
it
really
depends.
I
guess
girls
spend
more
money
on
clothes
and
magazines
while
boys
spend
money
on
music
and
things
like
football
matches.
In
general
though,
I
think
both
boys
and
girls
spend
a
lot
of
money
just
going
out
to
places
and
having
a
good
time.
W:
Do
you
have
a
favorite
shop?
M:
I’m
not
interested
in
shopping,
actually.
But
there
is
a
shop
I
really
enjoy
going
to.
It’s
a
sports
shop
and
what
I
really
like
about
it
is
just
to
wander
round
and
see
all
the
clothes
and
equipment
they
sell.
I
can’t
afford
them.
They
are
expensive.
W:
What’s
shopping
like
in
the
area
where
you
live?
M:
I
guess
the
shopping
must
be
pretty
good,
because
my
mum
and
dad
do
all
the
shopping
nearby.
They
always
say
it
has
fresh
vegetables
and
good
food.

reserving

But
is
dining
alone
really
that
bad?
Maybe
not.
We
all
have
foods
we
like
and
dislike.
Maybe
it's
a
smelly
fish.
We
sometimes
hold
back
on
things
that
may
upset
the
noses
of
others.
When
dining
alone,
we
can
consume
whatever
we
like,
with
the
added
bonus
that
we
might
be
able
to
eat
more
healthily.
Often,
if
you
want
a
salad
and
your
significant
other
wants
some
less
healthy
cuisine,
you
end
up
ordering
the
same.
And
if
you
don't
get
the
same,
you
might
end
up
with
food
envy
as
you
watch
someone
wolf
down
a
pizza
while
you're
left
holding
the
lettuce.
Have
you
ever
spent
too
long
debating
with
people
which
restaurant
to
eat
in
or
when
to
meet?
If
dining
alone,
you
can
make
the
choice
depending
on
your
eating
desires
at
that
moment
and
get
your
nutrition
at
exactly
the
time
you're
hungry!
And
why
does
it
have
to
be
a
restaurant?
You
could
eat
in
a
park,
garden
or
even
your
bed—the
point
is,
the
choice
is
yours!
That
alone
time
also
means
it's
a
time
to
switch
off.
According
to
psychologist
Sherrie
Bourg
Carter,
a
bit
of
being
alone
can
help
your
brain
to
unwind
and
may
help
you
concentrate
more.
Finally,
for
some,
dining
alone
can
be
a
necessity.
For
those
of
us
who
suffer
from
misophonia,
a
dislike
of
sound,
that
can
cause
PTSD
in
some
people,
the
noise
of
someone
else
chewing
can
be
unbearable.
Eating
alone
can
save
you
from
the
extreme
anxiety
that
may
arise
listening
to
someone
making
noises
in
their
mouths!
So,
is
eating
alone
bad?
Well,
it
may
not
be
for
everyone,
but
there
certainly
are
some
benefits
to
it.
Try
it
sometime—you
might
just
like
it!
28.
Why
do
we
sometime
avoid
eating
some
foods
with
others?
A.
Because
we
love
to
dine
alone.
B.
Because
we
can
have
added
bonus
C.
Because
they
might
feel
unhappy
D.
Because
they
don't

29.
What
does
the

mean
in
the
third
paragraph?
A.
Relax.
B.
React.
C.
Signal.
D.

30.
How
can
chewing
sounds
affect
people
with
misophonia?
A.
They
can
save
people
from

B.
They

in
people's
annoyance.
C.
They

D.

根据短文内容,从短文后的七个选项中选出能填入空白处的最佳选项。选项中有两项为多余选项。
It's

of
you

thank

when
you
are

and
this
is

‘thank

is

Speeches
are
used
as
a

to
make
a
political

or
just
to

someone's

So
it's
important
to
get
the
words
right.____37____.
For
example,
at
this
year's
Oscars,
candidates
have
only
90
seconds
from
finding
out
they've
won
to
finishing
their
speeches.
When
the
clock
is
ticking,
it's
hard
to
say
everything
you
want.____38____.
It's
also
important
to
be
elegant,
heartfelt
and
to
speak
like
you
are
talking
to
a
friend.
You
may
expect
an
actor
to
be
a
good
speaker
and
able
to
perform
on
stage
in
front
of
an
audience.____39____,
it
does
not
apply
to
sports
people.
When
Japan's
Naomi

won
this
year's
Australian
Open
final,
she
said,
"Sorry,
public
speaking

my
strong
point
so
I
hope
I
can
get
through
this…
I
read
notes
before
this
but
I
still
forgot
what
I
meant
to
say."
____40____.
It's
important
to
make
notes
that
remind
you
to
thank
people,
say
some
words
of
wisdom,
and
win
over
the
audience.
But
if
you've
got
nothing
to
say,
accept
your
award
thankfully
and
then
get
off
stage
before
the
music
starts
playing
again
—
just
remember
to
say
'thank
you'!
A.
Preparation
is
key
B.
As

C.

D.

【解析】
【分析】本文是说明文。文章介绍了几个做公共演讲时值得参考的小建议。
【36题详解】
前文“It’s
polite
of
you
to
say
thank
you
when
you
are
given
something,
and
this
is
particularly
important
when
you
receive
an
award
at
a
ceremony.(当你得到某样东西时说谢谢是有礼貌的,这在你在典礼上接受奖励时尤为重要)”说明得到东西说“谢谢”是重要的,从后文“‘thank
you’
is
just
the
start
of
the
most
important
acceptance
speech
of
your
life.(“谢谢你”只是你人生中最重要的获奖感言的开始)”说明表达“谢谢”只是一个开始,空格处承上启下,分析句子可知,应是一个从句,这里说的是“是你的一个开始”,D项中的“you
are
one
of
the
lucky
winners”符合,“如果你是一幸运的获胜者之一,“谢谢你”只是你人生中最重要的获奖感言的开始。”与上文是转折关系。所以选项D(但如果你是幸运的赢家之一)切合文意。故选D。
【37题详解】
根据上文“Speeches

or
just
to

someone’s

(形象)
So
it's

right.(演讲被用作一个平台来发表政治声明或只是为了提高某人的形象,说的话正确是重要的)”可知,G项中的“these
words”与上文一致,下文“For
example,
at
this
year's
Oscars,
candidates
have
only
90
seconds
from
finding
out
they've
won
to
finishing
their
speeches(例如,在今年的奥斯卡颁奖典礼上,候选人只有90秒的时间从发现他们获胜的机会到完成他们的演讲)”说明这些话要在有限的时间内说完。所以选项G(这些话必须在短时内讲完)切合文意。故选G。
【38题详解】
前半句“When
the
clock
is
ticking,
it’s
hard
to
say
everything
you
want(时间一分一秒地过去,你很难说出你想要的一切)”说明你很难说完你想说的一切,因此推断下面应该是有效的表达很重要。F项中的“it’s
important
to
convey
your
messages
effectively”符合句意,上下文是因果关系。所以选项F(因此,有效地传达你的信息很重要)切合文意。故选F。
【39题详解】
前文“You
may
expect
an
actor
to
be
a
good
speaker
and
able
to
perform
on
stage
in
front
of
an
audience.(你可能期望一个演员是一个很好的演讲者,能够在舞台上为观众当面表演)”说到你可能觉得演员能很流利的演讲,后文“When
Japan’s
Naomi
Osaka
won
this
year’s
Australian
Open
final,she
said,“Sorry,public
speaking
isn’t
my
strong
point
so
I
hope
I
can
get
through
this……
I
read
notes
before
this
but
I
still
forgot
what
I
meant
to
say.””(当日本选手大阪直美赢得今年的澳网决赛时,她说:“对不起,演讲不是我的强项,所以我希望我能通过这个考试……我看了之前的笔记,但我还是忘了我要说的是什么。”)”讲到一个叫做Naomi
Osaka的日本网球运动员获奖时在台上语塞的例子,结合后半句“不适用于运动人士”可推断,尽管演员可以流利地演讲是真的,但是不适用于运动人士。所以选项C(虽然这通常都是真的)切合文意。故选C。
【40题详解】
后文“It’s
important
to
make
notes
that
remind
you
to
thank
people,say
some
words
of
wisdom,and
win
over
the
audience.(重要的是要做笔记来提醒你要感谢别人,说一些有智慧的话,并赢得观众的青睐)”提到make
notes是很重要的,从而推断前文为提前准备很关键。所以选项A(准备很关键)切合文意。故选A。

【解析】
【分析】这是一篇说明文。2022年北京冬奥会和冬残奥会吉祥物揭晓,吉祥物是一只名为“冰墩墩”的动画大熊猫和一个名为“雪融融”的红灯笼宝宝。文章对此进行了介绍。
【56题详解】
考查一般现在时的被动语态。句意:大熊猫将成为奥运会的吉祥物,被视为中国的象征。此处描述客观事实,所以应用一般现在时。动词regard意为“认为”,和主语“The
giant
panda”构成被动关系。主语为第三人称单数。故填is
regarded。
【57题详解】
考查名词。句意:“冰墩墩”这个名字是由多种意思组成的,其中“冰”的中文意思是“冰”,而“墩墩”的意思是健康和活泼。在“a...of”中间应用名词作is的表语。名词combination意为“组合”,符合语境,a
combination
of“一个......的组合”。故填combination。
【58题详解】
考查现在分词。句意:“冰墩墩”这个名字是由多种意思组成的,其中“冰”的中文意思是“冰”,而“墩墩”的意思是健康和活泼。在with独立主格结构中,动词mean意为“意思是”,和逻辑主语“Dwen
Dwen”构成主动关系,所以应用现在分词。故填meaning。
【59题详解】
考查名词。句意:残奥会的吉祥物灯笼被认为是“象征丰收、温暖和光明”。根据harvest可知,此处应用名词作介词of的宾语。故填warmth。
【60题详解】
考查介词。句意:鲜艳的红色形象非常适合这一盛会,尤其是2022年2月和3月,北京奥运会将与中国农历新年同时举行。名词fit应和介词for搭配,be
a
fit
for...“对......来说合适”。故填for。
【61题详解】
考查副词。句意:鲜艳的红色形象非常适合这一盛会,尤其是2022年2月和3月,北京奥运会将与中国农历新年同时举行。修饰句子应用副词作状语。副词especially意为“尤其,特别”。故填especially。
【62题详解】
考查最高级。句意:吉祥物结合了中国和中国人民的最佳元素和特点。根据“a
wonderful
spokesperson
for
China”可知,吉祥物结合了中国和中国人民的最佳元素和特点。所以应用形容词最高级best。故填best。
【63题详解】
考查一般现在时或一般将来时。句意:它(将)是中国和2022年北京奥运会的出色代言人。此处可理解为客观事实,应用一般现在时,主语it为第三人称单数。根据“the
Olympic
Games
Beijing
2022”可知,也可理解为将来的事情,应用一般将来时。故填will
be/is。
【64题详解】
考查固定句式。句意:吉祥物不仅代表了中国的灯笼,还代表了中国的新年。“not
only...but
also...”意为“不仅……而且……”,为固定句式。故填but。
【65题详解】
考查定语从句。句意:这是向下一代中国人民传递的未来信息,他们将被残奥运动员惊人的信念所激励。在定语从句中缺少主语,先行词为“the
future
generation
of
Chinese
people”,所以应用关系代词that或who。故填who/that。

A
Narrow
Escape
There
was
a
huge
three-acre
pond
just
a
few
kilometers
from
where
we
stayed.
Since
moving
into
our
new
home
in
the
countryside,
my
brother,
Jim
and
I
used
to
often
slip
out
to
the
pond
where
we
would
meet
another
friend.
Dad
had
warned
us
not
to
risk
staying
anywhere
near
the
pond
area,
particularly
after
a
friend
informed
him
that
a
crocodile(鳄鱼)had
been
spotted
there.
We
paid
no
attention
to
his
advice,

This

our

we

On
this

of

Jim

Syed
were

making
their
way
towards
the
spot
where
they
had
left
their

I
stayed
back
and
was
bathing
in
the

water
when
I
suddenly
became
aware
of
small
waves
forming
on
the
surface
of
the
water.
I
raised
my

and
looked
at
the
waves.
My

caught
a
motion
in
the
water.
A
log,
I
thought.
Then
I
saw
it—its

and
its

eyes.
"Jim..."
I
wept.
Then
I
screamed
with
all
my
strength.
Jim

in
my
direction
and
immediately
recognized
the
danger.
"Get
out
of
the
water,
Jeff.
Hurry!
It's
just
behind
you."
I
struggled
clumsily
in
the
water.
After
a
few
falls
and
rises,
I
reached
the
edge
of
the
pond.
I
looked
over
my
shoulder.
Moving
swiftly
towards
me
was
a
giant
crocodile.
I
froze.
Then
suddenly
I
felt
a
sharp
pain
in
my
leg.
Meanwhile,
Jim
and
Syed
screamed
and
started
throwing
stones
at
the
crocodile
and
managed
to
draw
its
attention
away
from
me.
The
crocodile
went
for
them
now.
As
it
opened
its
jaws,
I
could

its
pointed
teeth.
I

through
me.

ground,

a
pool

raised
by
French
author
Moliere
in
his
work
'The
Miser'.

But
is
dining
alone
really
that
bad?
Maybe
not.
We
all
have
foods
we
like
and
dislike.
Maybe
it's
a
smelly
fish.
We
sometimes
hold
back
on
things
that
may
upset
the
noses
of
others.
When
dining
alone
we
can
consume
whatever
we
like,
with
the
added
bonus
that
we
might
be
able
to
eat
more
healthily.
Often,
if
you
want
a
salad
and
your
significant
other
wants
some
less
healthy
cuisine,
you
end
up
ordering
the
same.
And
if
you
don't
get
the
same,
you
might
end
up
with
food
envy
as
you
watch
someone
wolf
down
a
pizza
while
you're
left
holding
the
lettuce.
Have
you
ever
spent
too
long
debating
with
people
which
restaurant
to
eat
in
or
when
to
meet?
If
dining
alone,
you
can
make
the
choice
depending
on
your
eating
desires
at
that
moment
and
get
your
nutrition
at
exactly
the
time
you're
hungry!
And
why
does
it
have
to
be
a
restaurant?
You
could
eat
in
a
park,
garden
or
even
your
bed—the
point
is,
the
choice
is
yours!
That
alone
time
also
means
it's
a
time
to
switch
off.
According
to
psychologist
Sherrie
Bourg
Carter,
a
bit
of
being
alone
can
help
your
brain
to
unwind
and
may
help
you
concentrate
more.
Finally,
for
some,
dining
alone
can
be
a
necessity.
For
those
of
us
who
suffer
from
misophonia,
a
dislike
of
sound,
that
can
cause
PTSD
in
some
people,
the
noise
of
someone
else
chewing
can
be
unbearable.
Eating
alone
can
save
you
from
the
extreme
anxiety
that
may
arise
listening
to
someone
making
noises
in
their
mouths!
So,
is
eating
alone
bad?
Well,
it
may
not
be
for
everyone,
but
there
certainly
are
some
benefits
to
it.
Try
it
sometime—you
might
just
like
it!
28.
Why
do
we
sometime
avoid
eating
some
foods
with
others?
A.
Because
we
love
to
dine
alone.
B.
Because
we
can
have
added
bonus
C.
Because
they
might
feel
unhappy
D.
Because
they
don't

29.
What
does
the

word
"unwind"
mean
in
the
third
paragraph?
A.
Relax.
B.
React.
C.
Signal.
D.
Function.
30.
How
can
chewing
sounds
affect
people
with
misophonia?
A.
They
can
save
people
from
anxiety.
B.
They
can
result
in
people's
annoyance.
C.
They
can
cause
anxiety

innovative
attempt
in
the
architectural
field,
as
3D-printed
architecture
is
cheaper
than
conventional
construction
techniques
and
saves
time,"
he
said.
"What
makes
this
bookstore
so
unique
is
that
we
used
fiber
concrete
to
resist
compression(压缩),"
he
added,
noting
that
the
floor
also
has
a
heating
system.
The
3D-printed
bookstore
is
as
safe
as
traditional
concrete
construction
based
on
experimental
data
in
terms
of
structure
and
earthquake
resistance.
With
a
floor
area
of
about
30
square
meters,
the
3D-printed
bookstore
can
accommodate
15
people
inside
at
a
time.
The
construction
is
composed
of
three
parts—the
main
outer
round
wall,
the
roof,
and
the
other
part
of
the
outside
wall.
The
outer
round
wall
was
printed
in
situ(原地),
and
the
other
two
parts
were
printed
separately.
So
far,
different
teams
in
France,
Switzerland
and
Russia
all
have
done
similar
research
on
3D-printed
concrete
technology,
but
China's
research
and
achievements
in
this
field
are
among
the
best
in
the
world,
according
to
He
Yuting.
In
Wisdom
Bay
innovation
park,
there
is
also
a
26.3-meter-long
and
3.6-meter-wide
3D-printed
bridge,
the
world's
largest
3D-printed
concrete
bridge
for
walkers.
"3D
technology
is
being
more
widely
used
in
medicine
and
autos
as
well
as
architecture
and
construction,"
Zhu
Li,
manager
of
Wisdom
Bay
innovation
park
and
also
a
3D
tech
expert,
told
the
Global
Times.
"This
new
technology
will
be
bound
to
benefit
us
in
the
future."
32.

3D-printed
architecture
according
to
He
Yuting?

It's
safer
and
more
solid.
B.
It
can
strongly
resist
heat.
C.
It's
cheaper
and

第二节(共5小题;每小题2.5分,满分12.5分)
根据短文内容,从短文后的七个选项中选出能填入空白处的最佳选项。选项中有两项为多余选项。
It's
polite
of
you
to
say
thank
you
when
you
are
given
something,
and
this
is
particularly
important
when
you
receive
an
award
at
a
ceremony.____36____,
‘thank
you’
is
just
the
start
of
the
most
important
acceptance
speech
of
your
life.
Speeches
are
used
as
a
platform
to
make
a
political
statement
or
just
to
raise
someone's
image.
So
it's
important
to
get
the
words
right.____37____.
For
example,
at
this
year's
Oscars,
candidates
have
only
90
seconds
from
finding
out
they've
won
to
finishing
their
speeches.
When
the
clock
is
ticking,
it's
hard
to
say
everything
you
want.____38____.
It's
also
important
to
be
elegant,
heartfelt
and
to
speak
like
you
are
talking
to
a
friend.
You
may
expect
an
actor
to
be
a
good
speaker
and
able
to
perform
on
stage
in
front
of
an
audience.____39____,
it
does
not
apply
to
sports
people.
When
Japan's
Naomi
Osaka
won
this
year's
Australian
Open
final,
she
said,
"Sorry,
public
speaking
isn't
my
strong
point
so
I
hope
I
can
get
through
this…
I
read
notes
before
this
but
I
still
forgot
what
I
meant
to
say."
____40____.
It's
important
to
make
notes
that
remind
you
to
thank
people,
say
some
words
of
wisdom,
and
win
over
the
audience.
But
if
you've
got
nothing
to
say,
accept
your
award
thankfully
and
then
get
off
stage
before
the
music
starts
playing
again
—
just
remember
to
say
'thank
you'!
A.
Preparation
is
key
B.
As
is
often
the
case
C.
Although
it's
generally
true
D.
But
if
you
are
one
of
the
lucky
winners
E.
Finishing
a
speech
quickly
makes
you
a
popular
person
F.
Thus
it's
important
to
convey
your
message
effectively
G.
And
these
words
have
to
be
delivered
in
a
short
amount
of
time

阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。
A
Narrow
Escape
There
was
a
huge
three-acre
pond
just
a
few
kilometers
from
where
we
stayed.
Since
moving
into
our
new
home
in
the
countryside,
my
brother,
Jim
and
I
used
to
often
slip
out
to
the
pond
where
we
would
meet
another
friend.
Dad
had
warned
us
not
to
risk
staying
anywhere
near
the
pond
area,
particularly
after
a
friend
informed
him
that
a
crocodile(鳄鱼)had
been
spotted
there.
We
paid
no
attention
to
his
advice,
though.
This
was
our
favorite
playground
and
we
were
certainly
not
going
to
give
it
up.
On
this
particular
afternoon,
the
three
of
us
had
just
finished
swimming,
Jim
and
Syed
were
unwillingly
making
their
way
towards
the
spot
where
they
had
left
their
clothes.
I
stayed
back
and
was
bathing
in
the
waist-deep
water
when
I
suddenly
became
aware
of
small
waves
forming
on
the
surface
of
the
water.
I
raised
my
head
and
looked
at
the
waves.
My
eyes
caught
a
motion
in
the
water.
A
log,
I
thought.
Then
I
saw
it—its
nose
and
mouth
and
its
two
wild
eyes.
"Jim..."
I
wept.
Then
I
screamed
with
all
my
strength.
Jim
turned
his
head
in
my
direction
and
immediately
recognized
the
danger.
"Get
out
of
the
water,
Jeff.
Hurry!
It's
just
behind
you."
I
struggled
clumsily
in
the
water.
After
a
few
falls
and
rises
I
reached
the
edge
of
the
pond.
I
looked
over
my
shoulder.
Moving
swiftly
towards
me
was
a
giant
crocodile.
I
froze.
Then
suddenly
I
felt
a
sharp
pain
in
my
leg.
Meanwhile,
Jim
and
Syed
screamed
and
started
throwing
stones
at
the
crocodile
and
managed
to
draw
its
attention
away
from
me.
The
crocodile
went
for
them
now.
As
it
opened
its
jaws,
I
could
see
its
pointed
teeth.
I
tried
to
move
but
a
stabbing
pain(刺痛)short
through
me.
I
fell
down
heavily
onto
the
ground,
lying
in
a
pool
of
blood.
注意:
1.续写词数应为150左在;
2.请按如下格式在答题卡相应位置作答。
Meanwhile,
our
screams
were
heard
by
two
hunters
who
were
not
far
away
from
us.
