状语从句中考复习
一.时间状语从句:
常用when, while, before, after, since, until,till, as soon as等连词来引导。
It was raining hard when we got to school yesterday.
他在做作业的时候，电话响了。
While he was doing his homework, the telephone rang.
他来中国之前，已学了一点中文。
He had learned a little Chinese before he came to China.
例如：昨天我们到校时，正在下大雨。
他中学毕业后，便去一家工厂上班了。
After he finished middle school, he went to work in a factory.
让我们等到雨停吧。
Let’s wait until the rain stops.
Don’t get off until the bus stops.
他一看见警察就跑。
He ran away as soon as he saw the police.
从他起床以来，已连续工作三个小时了。
He has worked for three hours since he got up.
等车停了才下车。
二.条件状语从句:
(1)条件状语从句通常由if, unless引导。
例如：如果明天下雪，我们怎么做？
What shall we do if it snows tomorrow？
不要离开大厦，除非我叫你走。
Don’t leave the building unless I tell you to.
（2）在时间状语从句和条件状语从句中，一般将来时要用一般现在时代替。
我一到纽约就给你电话。
I’ll ring you up as soon as I get to New York.
我要直到亲眼所见才会相信。
I won’t believe it until I see it with my own eyes.
I will believe it after I see it with my own eyes.
明天我若有空，就帮你学英语。
I’ll help you with your English if I am free tomorrow.
她不会迟到，除非生病了。
She won’t be late unless she is ill.
(3)“祈使句 + and (or)+ 陈述句” 在意思上相当于一个带有条件状语从句的复合句。
Hurry up, or you’ll be late.
Study hard and you will pass the exam.
例如：赶快走，不然你会迟到。
=If you don’t hurry up, you’ll be late.
努力学习，你就会通过考试。·
=If you study hard, you will pass the exam.
（4）虚拟语气：表示说话人所说的不是事实，而是一种假设、猜测等。
结构：（与现在事实相反的假设）
主句用would+V-原形，if从句用一般过去时（be用were）
例如：如果我是你，就会更努力学习功课。
If I were you, I would work harder at my lessons.
他如果有时间，会去参加你的聚会的。
If he had time,he would go to your party.
三. 原因状语从句：
他没来，因为有重要的事要做。
He didn’t come because he had something important to do .
由于在下雨，我们就不去动物园了。
As it is raining, we shall not go the zoo.
既然你不会回答这个问题，我就叫别人了。
Since you can’t answer the question, I’ll ask someone else.
通常由because, since,as引导。
四.结果状语从句：
通常由so…that…,such…that…引导。
她学习如此努力，以致她在这次考试中考得最好。
She worked so hard that she did best in this test.
她是那么好的老师，每个学生都很喜欢她。
She is such a good teacher that all the students like her.
She is so good a teacher that all the students like her.
五.目的状语从句：
通常由so that引导。
为赶火车，我六点就出门了。
I left at 6:00 so that I could catch the train.
六.让步状语从句。
通常由though,although,even though/if,
whether…or…(不管…还是…）引导
他虽然很困，但还是没有很早去睡。
He didn’t go to bed early though he was very sleepy.
尽管现在有点晚了，我还是要尽力独自把工作完成。
I’ll try to finish the work myself even though/if it is a little late now.
不管你信不信，这都是事实。
