教学课题 Unit8 When is your birthday?
课程类型 listening,?speaking,?reading,writing
学情 分析 学生通过教材前面有关话题的学习,明确了了目标语言的学习与操练这一精致课堂学习模式。同时也具备了一定的学习能力和阅读理解能力,可以通过合作探究,情景交流学习阅读篇章内容、理解获取文章中的关键信息。大部分同学能利用基本短语和句子结构在实际语境中表达语言项目。但受汉语语言习惯的影响,在学习过程中还会出现一些语言表达方面的错误,比如动词短语、活动项目、表示时间的介词短语和动词三单形式的应用。
教学目标 【知识目标】
Important words:art ,festival, dear, student ,thing, term, busy ,time
Important phrases:soccer game ,school trip, School Day, English Day ,art festival, Sports Day, this term ,next month, have an English party, have a book sale, have a good time
Important sentences:1. Next month, we have an art festival.
2.We have an English party on November 30th.
3. on December 3rd,we have a book sale in the school library.
【能力目标】要求学生能阅读理解有关学校组织活动内容的短文,并从篇章中获取相关信息。
【情感目标】本课时的学习内容是安排课内外的一些组织活动,话题贴近学生的学习生活。通过互相交流课内外活动的安排,增进同学之间的了解和友情,促进和谐相处,而且能学会合理地安排自己的作息时间,养成有规律地生活、学习的好习惯。
教学重难点 重点:学习并掌握常课内外活动名称,询问其日期。
难点:能阅读有关学校组织活动内容的短文,并能获取相关信息,提高学生的阅读理解力。

学法指导 词汇短语:主要采用图片及多媒体展示助记法。

拓展指导:Using the important language points to fill in the
message card & make new sentences .retell the text.
教学环节
Step 1 Revision: Make conversations in pairs/groups.
T: Do you like playing soccer?
S1: Yes, I do.
T: What do you like ?/ What activity do you like?
(What’s your favorite activity?)
S: I like…; ask Ss to make conversations one by one.
设计意图:运用转盘,“幸运大抽奖”, Let Ss talk about their favorite.

Last class, we learned about some simple activities like birthday parties. Today we'll continue to talk about more activities or events such as art festival, Sports Day, School Day and so on. Do you know how to describe these events in English?Now let's begin to learn about them.

T:We all have many school activities. They are interesting and relaxing for us .Now discuss the school activities. with your partner. Write them down on your notebook. Then report them to the class.
设计意图:通过核心词汇的朗读讨论,检查学生能否认读核心词汇;引入核心短语,为下一环节的阅读做好铺垫。.

Work on 2b.

设计意图:通过默读,找出通知上所涉及的活动;引导学生仔细阅读材料,获取相关信息。
Step 6 Post? reading
Work on 2c.
1.Read the notices again and write down the items.
2.Then write down the dates and ativities.
3.Check the answers with the class.
设计意图:让学生明确活动要求,并指导学生通过搜索关键词找到具体信息,找出文中的活动和日期。利用所学目标词汇,自己创编新的对话,拓展学生词汇及语言运用能力。

have表示“举行;举办”,后面跟表示活动的名词,指举办某种活动。如:

▲Have a good time!玩得高兴!
have a good time是对“旅行、娱乐、某项活动等”的祝愿用语,表示 “玩得高兴;过得愉快”,相当于have fun或enjoy oneself。如:
Eric has a good time there every day.= Eric has fun there every day.= Eric enjoys himself there every day.埃里克在那里每天过得都很愉快。
