Lesson47 The U.K. and Australia
一 教学目标
1. 知识目标
能够掌握课标要求的“四会”词汇：same , as, tower
掌握接触词汇：Big Ben, Canberra, Kangaroo, opera, Sydney Opera House
(3)掌握短语和句型：The same as, in the corner
2. 能力目标
（1）了解有关介绍国家的口语。
（2）熟练掌握介绍国家的方法。

（1）帮助学生树立学习英语的自信，鼓励学生积极主动参与课堂活动。
（2）激发学生的学习兴趣，让学生运用所学知识到日常生活中。
二．教学重点难点
1. 掌握一些与介绍国家有关的词汇：
Capital, flag, national, famous, building
2掌握以下重点句子:
It has the same colours as the flag of the U.S.
It is a famous clock tower in London.
The kangaroo is one of the national animals of Australia.
The Sydney Opera House is a building in Sydney.
三．教学实例
1. 导入示例
（1）Greeting : ask one or more of the following( ask five or six students to respond):
Good morning/afternoon, Class. How are you today?
How is the weather today?
What day is it today?
What is the date today?
Encourage and help your students to respond in an appropriate way.
(2) Homework check.
In lesson 46 ,you learned some things about Canada and the U.S. can you tell me where these two countries are?
Can you tell us the capital cities of the two countries?
Where did the U.S. get its Statue of Liberty?
What official languages are spoken in Canada?
2. 重点突破示例
（1）Learn new words of lesson 47. At first ,you can let students read after you, and then let them read new words again and again by themselves.

The same….as… 意思是 …和…一样
例如：The dress is the same colour as the shirt.

(4)朗读课文Open the book, read the part one together.
