与重建
本单元话题是dreams,本课是第一课时,语篇围绕着Miss
Li和她的学生谈论梦想展开的。本课涉及到一些职业类词汇,核心句型是如何谈论梦想:What
do
you
want
to
be
in
the
future?

在阅读前,我采用了歌曲导入的方式,通过和dreams有关的歌曲,创设欢快轻松的氛围,让学生能够很快进入英语主题学习的情境。和学生简单谈论梦想职业后,自然导入文本学习。
阅读中,把文本分为两部分进行,男孩的梦想是通过观看视频去获取相关信息。在职业类单词教学时,采用了引导学生用简单的定语从句去理解各种职业的意义,希望以此引导学生养成英语思考的习惯。但是呈现方式似乎还是稍显单调一些,而且职业的定性也不能仅仅局限于can
do
it
well。在细读男孩梦想的时候,通过问题引导,帮助学生了解梦想背后的原因,培养学生良好的思维习惯。在谈论到Wang
Bing
和Liu
Tao的梦想原因时,提升到我们的中国梦,激发学生的爱国情怀和责任意识。女孩的梦想部分采用自主学习,小组编写小诗的形式进行。引导学生对他们的梦想进行评价,培养学生的评价意识,通过学习他人梦想,激发学生自身的情感体验。
阅读后的拓展部分,首先组织学生进行了小组自主朗读,因为考虑到上课时间,没有能对学生的朗读进行相对细致到位的指导,这对于新的语篇教学还是有所欠缺的。然后开展了“To
make
dreams
come
true,
what
should
they
do?”组织学生小组讨论,给孩子们提出一些建议,这是对文本的一个巩固,也是谈论梦想话题的继续推进,即:How
to
make
dreams
come
true?最后从文本走向自己,引导学生设计自己的职业梦想。这个话题对于六年级即将毕业的学生来说,是很有实际意义的,所以学生也是有话可说,有话想说。在课结束前,我带着孩子们一起唱起了主题歌曲:Dream
it
possible,同时,组织孩子们把自己设计的dream
card放进我们班孩子自己制作的Class
dream
box中。看的出来,孩子们挺投入,也挺感动的。我也希望通过这样的活动鼓励孩子们心怀梦想并付诸努力,同时也提升了本单元的主题意义。
六年级的孩子通过四年的学习,已经有了一定的语言、思维及学习方法的积累。但是经过了四年,学生之间也产生了差异,一个班的孩子英语学已经出现了参差不齐的现象。在平时的教学过程中,如果仅仅专注于语言知识的强化肯定是不行的,为了学生的后期长足发展,更要关注学生思维习惯的引导,思维品质的培养。但是,因为时间和空间的局限,有时候很难兼顾到全体学生。对于基础相对薄弱的孩子来说,在进行思维训练的一些活动时,他们经常没有什么话语权。如何在的日常课堂教学中,基于各类学生的实际情况,有针对性地设计分层有效的教学活动?如何做才能尽量兼顾到各种学习基础的学生?这些是我要在以后平时的教学中一直需要思考并且实践的。
