教材分析:
本课时是辽宁师范大学出版社出版,义务教育教科书英语学科四年级下册第七单元第三课时,重点学习Are they…?They are…的回答,是连接单复数问句问答的纽带,为以后其它复数问句的学习打下了必要的基础。
学情分析:
学生已经学过了What is it?Is it…?It is…的问答,在此基础上进行学习What are they?Are they…?They are…使所学知识难度降低,知识前后的连接性让学生更易于接受本课所学。
教学目标:
1、准确朗读单词kindergarten及tiny并理解其意思
2、能够准确朗读Let’s chant部分尤其是能正确读出单词bird,dog,duck,cat,friend,bee,frog and pig的复数形式birds,dogs,ducks,cats,friends,bees,frogs and pigs。
3、能进行What are they?Are they baby cats?等的简单问答。
4、尝试自读Read and say部分,补全空缺句子。
5、与小动物做朋友,关心热爱小动物。
教学重点:
运用They are…介绍身边是复数的事物。
教学难点:
能够准确运用What is it?和What are they?对事物进行描述。
教学关键:
创设情境,多学多练以区分单复数的问句特点。
教学准备:
教学白板,教科书,写有单词kindergarten和tiny的卡片,录音机及磁带
教学过程:
Revision
Review the words about farm animals we have learnt,and review the plural nouns.In this part we will review the plural nouns just as the words birds,dogs,ducks,cats,bees,frogs ,pigs and so on.
二、 New learning
In this part,the students will read the part of“Read and say”themselves first,at the same time underline the words they can’t read.Then I will play the radio.The students listen to the tape silence.And then read the text following the tape.Three times later,I will read this part,the students follow me to read it.Then I will show the cards of the words kindergarten and tiny.The students guess what’s the meaning of the word kindergarten,if they can’t guess out,I will show the pictures using the whiteboard to make the students know the meaning.And I will use the whiteboard to play the flash,the students can understand the meaning of the word tiny.When I play the flash ,the computer will read the word at the same time.Then the students try their best to understand the meaning of the part“Read and say”.After the students know the meaning of the text,I will let them try to fill in the blank themselves,then I will show the answer using the whiteboard .After the students can read this text themselves,we will have a pk with with the voice of the whiteboard.At first,I will play in low speed,then I will play it in high speed then higher,highest.
Practising
In this part,I will play the voices of different animals.If I play the voice of word cat,the students say “cat”.If I play the voice of the cats,the students say“cats”.We will practise the words pets,birds,dogs,ducks,cats,friends,bees,frogs ,pigs and friends.Then we will say the chant together several times. When the students can say the chant freely,I will be a student,the students teach me.Then I will flash the pictures on whiteboard.We will practise the plural nouns and remember the rules of the plural nouns.
Extension
In this part,we will talk about farm animals.I will ask the students they like in their own words we have learnt in groups.Who did the best,who will get stars.At last,we will draw the smile faces of the part“Reward time”.
Homework
Read the text we have learnt this class.
Make up a dialogue about the farm animals.
