The
analysis
of
the
lesson
This
lesson
is
a
trip
on
“The
true
north”,
which
is
in
Unit
5,
Book
3.
As
we
know,
this
topic
belongs
to
the
third
theme
of
the
“People
and
nature”.
It
is
about
Canada,
which
is
a
great
country
with
many
wonderful
places
of
interest,
and
colorful
culture.
By
studying
this
lesson,
most
of
the
students
will
know
more
about
this
great
country
and
love
this
country
and,
above
all,
love
our
country
as
well.
The
analysis
of
the
students
Usually,
when
we
talk
about
the
western
countries,
students
will
know
more
about
Britain
and
the
United
States.
But
they
may
know
little
about
Canada.
While
talking
about
the
trip,
I
will
talk
more
about
the
country
to
show
them
more
about
Canada.

to
summarize
the
information
about

which
helps
to
review
the
whole

and
know

about
Canada.
And
then
I’ll
Share

poem
to
review
the
passage.
Step5:
Homework
1.
Draw
a
mind
map
of
the
passage.
2Teaching
Reflection
The
design
of
the
class
The
reading
passage
is
about
the
travel
of
the
two
girls
in
Canada
developed
by
the
order
of
time
and
space.
Through
the
description
of
the
places
of
the
trip,
the
passage
showed
us
some
basic
information
about
Canada.
Therefore,
the
purpose
of
the
class
is
to
understand
the
trip
by
learning
the
key
words
of
each
places.
To
arouse
students’
interest
in
learning
the
passage,
the
video
about
Canada
was
used
to
lead
in.
Then
in
the
fast-reading
section,
the
two
tasks
were
designed
to
introduce
the
basic
information
about
the
trip
and
the
route
of
the
trip
so
that
students
can
have
a
basic
idea
about
the
trip.
In
careful-reading
section,
students
worked
in
groups
and
drew
a
leaflet
about
the
first
stop,
Vancouver.
This
activity
would
enable
students
to
the
key
words
and
aspects
to
introduce
the
city.
Then
the
rest
of
the
places
were
presented
in
the
similar
way.
In
post
reading
section,
students
were
asked
to
find
more
information
about
Canada.
Then
the
teacher
guided
students
to
summarize
the
knowledge
we
have
learned
in
the
class
and
stressed
the
importance
of
travelling
as
well
as
love
for
the
motherland.
Highlight
of
the
class
Lead
in
the
class
with
a
video
which
is
closely
related
to
the
topic
of
the
unit.
The
overall
process
of
the
class
is
clear
and
logical.
Disadvantages
I
hadn’t
thought
about
and
hadn’t
prepared
for
any
emergencies
that
would
happen
on
the
class,
which
made
me
nervous.
The
design
of
the
tasks
should
be
thought
twice.
Questions
should
be
specific
and
easy
to
understand.
Enough
and
sufficient
demonstrations
should
be
made
before
the
tasks.
While
students
are
having
discussions,
I
should
listen
to
them
and
give
them
some
advice
and
guidance
to
make
sure
the
tasks
are
finished
smoothly
and
successfully.
I’m
still
not
capable
of
the
arrangement
of
time.
Some
activities
took
up
too
much
time
while
other
activities
are
not
able
to
be
sufficiently
carried
out.
The
design
of
the
blackboard
should
be
further
modified.
Ways
to
improve
Prepare
for
more
emergencies
that
would
happen
on
the
class.
I
can
use
the
multimedia,
but
I
cannot
depend
on
the
multimedia.
Practice
more.
Practice
makes
perfect.
I
should
polish
my
lesson
plans
more
often.
Turn
to
the
skillful
teachers
for
help.
Many
hands
make
light
work.
If
I
could
always
turn
to
the
teachers
for
help,
l
can
get
more
creative
ideas
and
improve
myself
quicker.
Treat
every
class
seriously
as
a
challenge
to
myself.
Arrange
tasks
in
a
more
reasonable
way
in
the
set
of
time
and
difficulty.
To
motivate
every
student
into
learning
English
by
respecting
their
work
and
enrich
the
teaching
methods.
To
spend
more
time
on
the
learning
and
researching
of
the
textbook.Canada-The
true

本节课围绕加拿大的旅行展开泛读和精读。本节课旨在让学生了解加拿大的旅行,并且通过这次旅行对加拿大的基本情况有所了解。
为了让学生能够更直观地了解加拿大,课文以到加拿大的视频导入,引起学生的兴趣,引出本节课的主题a
trip
on
the
true
North。通过对题目的分析,得出when,
where,who,how等旅行的基本问题,再听文章录音,得出路线图。
根据主人公所到的地点对每一个地方进行讲解。在详细阅读中,第一个地点Vancouver,而且比较详细,因此让学生小组合作制作一张Vancouver的宣传单,请小组成员展示。其余地点则寻找关键词。
在读后环节中,小组合作,文章中寻找关于加拿大的更多的信息,制作思维导图。其次,对本节课所学内容进行复述,通过对加拿大信息的了解,引出旅游的重要性以及对祖国的热爱。
最布置制作课文思维导图的作业,培养学生的思维能力。(共14张PPT)
