22

her

youthful.

for

三、阅读单选(20分)
Every
English
learner
needs
to
know
how
to
ask
for
something
in
English.
There
are
a
number
of
ways
to
do
this.
If
you
know
someone
has
something,
you
can
ask
for
it
with
a
polite
question.
If
you
don’t
know,
it’s
possible
to
ask
for
something
with
a
yes
or
no
question.
Be
careful
not
to
use
the
direct
expressions.
In
other
words,
don’t
say
“Give
me
that”,
but
ask
kindly
as
the
following
examples,
“Do
you
have
a
pen
I
could
borrow?”
“Is
there
any
wine?”
“Did
you
buy
any
bread?”
If
you
know
or
see
someone
has
something,
ask
a
polite
question
with
“could”,
“may”
or
“might”.
It’s
also
possible
to
use
“can”
in
some
special
situations.
In
the
past,
“can”
was
not
used
when
people
asked
for
something,
but
meant
ability.
In
the
UK,
people
mainly
use
“Can
you
lend
me…?”
or
“Can
I
have…?”
In
the
US,
this
is
still
considered
to
be
wrong
and
“May
I
have…?”
is
preferred.
It’s
common
to
use
“Could
you
lend/hand/give…?”
You
can
also
use:
“May/Can
I
borrow…?”
“Could/Can
you
lend
me…?”
“May
I
have…?”
“Could
you
hand/give
me…?”
Do
not
begin
a
sentence
with
“please”,
but
you
can
add
“please”
at
the
end
of
the
sentence
to
be
polite.
41.What
can
we
ask
if
we

question.

any
coffee?

me
some
coffee.

me.
43.What
didn’t
people
say
when
they

in
the
past?

I
use
your
dictionary?
B.Could
you
lend
me
your
bike?
C.May
I
try
your
computer
now?
D.Might
I
take
your
car
today?
44.Which
of
the
following
is
a

Teamwork
Is
the
Key
to
Business
Success
Today
most
businesses
are
looking
for
people
who
are
good
team
players.
The
ability
to
work
with
and
get
on
with
other
people
is
so
important
that
many
large
organizations
spend
millions
of
dollars
on
finding
the
right
people
for
their
business.
At
the
recent
Success
in
Business
Conference,
some
of
Europe’s
most
successful
businessmen
told
us
how
they
found
good
team
players.
“A
good
team
needs
people
with
different
skills
and
talents.
It
is
good
to
bring
new
ideas
into
the
organization.
The
best
people
can
work
with
other
people
and
develop
ideas
with
a
team.
It
is
important
that
everyone
uses
their
talents
in
the
business.
I
look
for
people
who
have
the
skills
and
talents
my
business
needs,
but
they
must
be
able
to
work
in
a
team.”(John
Brown,
Design
Works)
“At
interviews
I
like
to
bring
a
group
together
and
look
for
people
who
work
well
in
a
group.
A
good
team
player
is
usually
friendly
and
easy
to
talk
to.
They
are
also
good
at
listening
to
other
people.
They
are
generous
and
happy
to
share
their
ideas.
”(Lee
Chung,
Computer
World.)
“Most
teams
need
a
mixture
of
people.
It
is
great
to
have
people
with
ideas
but
you
also
need
people
who
get
things
done
on
time.
A
team
made
up
of
people
that
all
have
the
same
skills
would
not
work.
You
need
to
know
what
you
are
looking
for.”(Jane
Lin,
Lin
Electricals)
“I
look
for
people
who
can
bring
out
the
best
in
other
people.
In
a
group
you
can
see
the
people
that
know
how
to
get
a
team
working
together.
They
understand
teams
and
they
can
make
them
work.
A
good
team
is
the
key
to
success.”(Jim
Khan,
Northern
Bank)
Everyone
agreed
that
teamwork
is
the
key
to
business
success!

and
girls,
I’m
very
happy
to
speak
here
and
I’d
like
to
talk
about
my
grandma.
A
few
months
ago,
my
grandma
went
to
do
square
dancing
after
supper.
Since
then,
she
has
been
in
love
with
square
dancing.
Now,
she
is
much
healthier
than
before.
What’smore,
she
has
a
lot
of
friends.
However,
some
neighbors
have
a
complaint
against
the
people
who
do
square
dancing.
They
think
that
the
music
is
so
loud
that
they
can’t
fall
asleep
at
night.
In
my
opinion,
people
can
do
square
dancing
because
it
is
a
good
way
to
keep
healthy.
But
they
should
think
about
the
feelings
of
others
and
they
shouldn’t
make
a
lot
of
noise.
That’s
all.
Thank
you!
