教学目标与要求 能听懂、会说：Look at …. It has …. It’s so …. 等介绍动物特征的句型。能在实际情境中运用所学句型对动物特征进行描述，并能模仿正确，语调自然。充分利用学生喜爱小动物的特点，激发学生学习英语的兴趣。
重点 描述动物特征的句型：Look at…. It has…. It’s so ….
难点 运用句型描述动物的特征。
教具 录音机、动物图片、若干动物玩具或面具。

Preparation准备活动 做三上Unit 2 A Let’s do. 复习身体部位单词。【设计意图：活跃气氛吸引学生注意力，为学习新句型做铺垫】2. Let’s chant: 三上Unit 4 let’s chant. 在说唱之前教师先将cat, pig, monkey, mouse 的图片贴在黑板上。放chant录音后让学生边说唱边指着图片做动作。以此来复习Look at….的句型及big, fat, funny等词汇。

Presentation新知呈现 （1）学生说唱完毕后，教师接着指着pig的图片说：“Look at the pig. It’s big. It’s so big.”并对so的发音进行强调，同时伴以“大”的手势。重复并板书这个句子，然后领读操练。（2）接着教师指着mouse的图片，对学生说：“Look at the mouse, It’s small. It’s so small.” 同样做出“小”的手势。重复，板书领读，操练。（3）以此方式，利用cat, monkey图片，鼓励学生说句子，如：Look at the cat. It’s so fat. Look at the monkey. It’s so funny.让学生体会so的用法。 2． (1) 出示一只大象玩具实物，对学生说：“Look at the elephant. It’s so big.” 指着它的鼻子说：“Look at the nose. The nose is so long.”边说边做“长”的手势。在黑板的另一边板书long.接着说：Look at the elephant. It has a long nose. 板书这个句子，领读。接着指着大象的尾巴说：Look，This is a tail. It’s so short. 边说边做“短”的手势。在黑板的另一边板书板书short. 接着再说：Look at the elephant. It has a short tail. 板书该句，并领读。 （2）用同样的方式引出并板书句型：It has small eyes. 和It has big ears. 并操练。 3． 放录音，展示Let’s talk部分的对话内容。【设计意图：利用图片或实物创设情境导入新知，兴趣盎然为学生所喜爱，学生兴趣高，学习效果好。】

Practice巩固练习 再放录音，让学生跟读，模仿。提醒学生注意语音语调。教师领读。并给学生解释：It has a long nose and a short tail.即是把黑板上的It has a long nose.和It has a short tail.用and连接起来的。同样，It has small eyes and big ears. 即是It has small eyes. 和It has big ears.用and连接起来的。 3. 教师将学生分成几组（3-4人），学生根据教师的示范来描述 自己组内动物的特征。最后，每组派一名同学到讲台前来描述自己组内的小动物，如：Look at the monkey.It's so funny.It has a long tail and a big mouse.It has big eyes and a small nose.4. 操练对话： 师生分角色读对话全班男女生分角色读对话 小组内分角色读对话，并提问有关单词发音和句意等方面的问题全班齐读对话找几个小组去读，检查读的情况。【设计意图：利于学生很好地掌握所学内容，为运用语言进行实际交际提供坚实的语言知识基础。】

Production输出运用 “猜一猜”：教师做示范，描述一种动物特征，让学生猜一猜教师描述的是什么动物。如：It has a long tail and a big mouth.It has big eyes and a small nose. It’s very funny. What is it 让学生模仿教师的示例对自己喜欢的动物进行特征描述，让其他学生猜一猜是什么动物。 Let’s practice. 按照课本中所呈现的方式，教师先拿出一个小猪的面具，请一名学生到讲台前戴上面具，模仿小猪的特征介绍自己：Look, I have big eyes and small ears. 接着，教师可让另一名学生转述小猪的话：Look, it has big eyes and small ears. 在做好示范后，教师让学生两人一组，拿出各自准备的面具或动物图片进行练习。最后，选取几组学生到讲台上来表演。给与他们贴纸的奖励。【设计意图：在激发兴趣的基础上提高学生运用语言的能力，培养其敢于开口乐于开口的精神。】
