1、 It’s said… 据说……。后面接that引导的从句，类似用法还有It’s reported….也意为“据说……，据报道……”。

2、 in short总之，简言之，一般用于句首，对上文进行归纳总结。
如：He is not only good at his lessons but also ready to help others. In short, he is a good student.
他不仅学习好，而且乐于助人。总之，他是一个好学生。
3、 not only….but also…不但……而且……，连接的并列成分必须相同。如果连接两个名词或代词作主语时，谓语动词的单复数要采用就近原则。
如：He learns not only English but also Japanese.
他不但学英语而且学日语。
Not only you but also he likes English.
不但你，而且他也喜欢英语。
4、“the+比较级+…., the+比较级+….”结构，表示“越……，越……”。
如：The more you do, the better you do.你做得越多，你做得越好。
4、 not all意思为“并非所有”。是部分否定。
如：Not all students like swimming.并非所有学生都喜欢游泳。
从方框中适当的句子补全对话，其中两项多余。
