first day of the first lunar(阴历) month.
During this festival, people usually clean and
decorate their house carefully before it comes. They eat
Niangao, dumplings and family dinner.
It is my favorite festival because we kids can wear new clothes and get gift money. What's more, we can watch the dragon dance(舞狮). It makes me feel very happy and excited.

Dragon Boat Festival
Dragon Boat Festival is a traditional festival in China. Chinese people have been celebrating Dragon Boat Festival in June in memory of the great Chinese poet Qu Yuan. We had a three-day holiday this year. My parents took me to visit my grandma in the countryside. We ate zongzi and watched dragon boat race there. Zongzi is a kind of traditional food in China. Dragon boat race is the most exciting part of the festival. We had a great holiday.
