Naomi
Cooke
was
walking
with
a
friend
and
their
dogs
through
her
local
park
in
Burnside,
on
Tuesday
when
she
heard
someone
shout
to
watch
out.
Cooke
turned
and
hardly
had
time
to
react
before
a
flying
disc(飞盘)
hit
her
in
the
face
with
a
“big
bang”,
leaving
her
right
cheek
swollen
almost
to
the
size
of
a
golf
ball.
Two
men
playing
disc
golf
at
the
course
in
Jellie
Park
were
about
20
metres
from
the
pair
when
one
of
them
threw
the
disc
hard,
aiming
for
a
nearby
goal.
After
being
hit
Cooke
immediately
went
to
the
emergency
department,
where
two
CT
scans
on
her
face
and
cheek
found
she
had
escaped
any
broken
bones.
“I’m
lucky
it
didn’t
hit
my
eye
because
I
think
I
would
have
lost
it.”Cooke
said.
Cooke
often
walks
her
dog
at
the
park
and
said
it
was
always
busy
with
people
playing
disc
golf,
but
it
was
not
until
after
Tuesday
that
she
became
concerned
about
public
safety
there.
There
were
no
signs
about
the
disc
golf
course
in
the
park,
she
said,
and
the
area
is
shared
with
children
and
people
walking
their
dogs.
“If
it
had
hit
one
of
the
kids
in
the
head,
it
could
have
killed
them.”Cooke
did
not
think
she
was
the
only
person
who
had
been
hit
before,
and
said
there
would
be
others
who
share
her
concerns.
Cooke
planned
to
go
to
the
council(议会),
saying
it
needed
to
realise
how
dangerous
it
was
for
the
space
to
be
shared
by
everyone
and
to
provide
disc
golfers
with
a
space
where
they
can
play
safely.“There
should
be
rules
about
how
it’s
done,
making
it
safe
for
everyone.”

A
Singaporean

(黄粉虫)before
turning
them
into
fish
feed(饲料),
aiming
to
cut
the
country’s
use
of
imported

and
offer
a
continuous
alternative.
Blue
Aqua
International
will
partner
with
Dnata,
an
air
and
travel
services
provider,
to
change
organic
waste
at
Singapore’s
Changi
Airport
into
insect
protein
for
aquacultural(水产养殖)
use,
according
to
a
statement
Tuesday.
The
project
looks
to
replace
traditional
fish
and
soybean
meal
as
the
main
sources
of
protein
for
aquafeed.
The
insects
will
eat
the
food
waste
and
change
it
into
part
of
the
body
containing
about
60
per
cent
protein.
The
dried
baby
worms
will
then
be
made
into
feed.
These
mealworms
can
be
a
continuous
solution
to
several
problems.
Using
a
small
land
and
giving
out
less
carbon,
they
turn
food
waste
into
feed
and
offer
an
alternative
source
of
protein.
Ynsect
SAS,
a
small
French
business
that
keeps
mealworms
to
feed
fish
and
pets,
attracted
money
from
investors
including?Iron
Man?movie
actor
Robert
Downey
Jr.
in
a
round
of
fund-raising
last
year.
The
deal
will
give
Singapore’s
farmers
access
to
domestically
produced
animal
feed,
which
is
traditionally
bought
from
abroad.
The
Southeast
Asian
nation
imports
more
than
90
per
cent
of
its
food
and
has
set
a
goal
to
produce
a
third
of
its
food
locally
by
2030.
It
also
aims
to
achieve
a
general
recycling
rate
of
70
per
cent
by
then.
Presently,
less
than
20
per
cent
of
Singapore’s
food
waste
is
recycled.
As
part
of
the
partnership,
Dubai-based
Dnata
will
add
Blue
Aqua
to
its
list
of
suppliers
to
buy
locally
farmed
seafood
for
its
catering
service.
28.
What
is
the
function
of
mealworms?
A.
To
cut
the
use
of

B.
To
eat
food

and
make
fish

domestically
produce

Addiction
to
smartphones
will
result
in
poor
sleep,
according
to
a
new
study.
The
study,?published
Tuesday
in
Frontiers
in
Psychiatry,
(?https:?/??/?www.frontiersin.org?/?articles?/?10.3389?/?fpsyt.2021.629407?/?full%23supplementary-material"
\t
"https:?/??/?edition.cnn.com?/?2021?/?03?/?02?/?health?/?smartphone-addiction-effects-on-sleep-wellness?/?_blank?)?looked
at
smartphone
use
among
1,043
students
between
the
ages
of
18
and
30
at
King’s
College
London.
Researchers
asked
the
students
to
complete
two
questionnaires
on
their
sleep
quality
and
smartphone
use,
in
person
and
online.
Using
a
10-question
scale
that
was
developed
to
judge
smartphone
addiction
in
children,
nearly
40%
of
the
university
students
qualified
as
“addicted”
to
smartphones,
the
study
found.
“Our
findings
are
in
agreement
with
other
reported
studies
in
young
adult
populations
globally,
which
are
in
the
range
of
30—45%,”
lead
author
Sei
Yon
Sohn
and
her
co-authors
wrote
in
the
study.
“Later
time
of
use
was
also
significantly
connected
with
smartphone
addiction,
with
use
after
1
a.m.
increasing
a
3-
times
risk,”
the
authors
wrote.
Students
who
reported
high
use
of
smartphones
also
reported
poor
sleep
quality,
the
study
found.
That
falls
in
line
withprevious
studies
(?https:?/??/?jcsm.aasm.org?/?doi?/?10.5664?/?jcsm.8446"
\t
"https:?/??/?edition.cnn.com?/?2021?/?03?/?02?/?health?/?smartphone-addiction-effects-on-sleep-wellness?/?_blank?)?that
have
found
overuse
of
smartphones
at
night
to
be
associated
with
trouble
falling
asleep,
reduced
sleep
duration
(睡眠持续时间)and
daytime
tiredness.
That’s
likely
because
use
of
smartphones
close
to
bedtime
has
been
shown
to
delay
the
body’s
normal
sleep-and-wake
clock.
In
fact,
the
No.
1
rule
is
“no
computers,
cell
phones,
and
pads
in
bed
and
at
least
one
hour
before
bed
time,”
Dr.
Vsevolod
Polotsky,?who
directs
sleep
basic
research,
said
in
a
recent
interview
(?https:?/??/?n.com?/?2021?/?02?/?23?/?health?/?fall-back-asleep-after-waking-wellness?/?index.html"
\t
"https:?/??/?edition.cnn.com?/?2021?/?03?/?02?/?health?/?smartphone-addiction-effects-on-sleep-wellness?/?_blank?).That’s
because
“any
LED
light
source
from
electronics
(电子设备)may
further
hold
back
melatonin(褪黑激素)levels,”
Polotsky
said.
Melatonin
is
often
referred
to
as
a
“sleep
hormone,”
because
we
sleep
better
during
the
night
when
levels
reach
the
top.
“This
is
a
cross-sectional
study,
and
it
cannot
lead
to
any
firm
conclusions
about
smartphone
use
as
the
cause
of
reduced
sleep
quality,”
said
Bob
Patton,
a
lecturer
in
clinical
psychology
at
the
University
of
Surrey,
via
email.
How

find
about
sleep
quality
and
smartphone
use?
A.
30—45%
of
the
university
students
are
addicted
to
smartphones.
B.
High
use
of
smartphones
is
related
to

C.
Overuse
of
smartphones
leads
to
shorter

duration.
D.
Use
after

will
result
in

What
is
Polotsky’s
opinion
on
electronics
?
A.
We
should
stop
using
them
an
hour
before
going
to

B.

to
do
with
them.
D.

others.
36
Here’s
how
to
start
making
healthy
changes
to
reduce
your
stress
levels.
Find
a
hobby
you
enjoy
37
Anything
that
takes
you
away
from
day-to-day
concerns
is
helpful
for
lowering
stress
levels.
The
key
is
to
focus
on
what
you
are
doing
to
block
out
the
rest
of
what
is
going
on.
Avoid
strict
dieting
If
you
are
cutting
down
calories
too
much
in
order
to
lose
your
weight,
you
may
actually
be
doing
your
body
harm.
Eating
enough
carbohydrates(碳水化合物)
is
important,
since
they
encourage
the
brain
to
make
serotonin(血清素),
which
has
a
calming
effect
in
the
body.
38
Doing
so
can
cause
drops
in
blood
sugar,
which
can
worsen
stress.
Enjoy
nature
Getting
outside
and
spending
some
time
in
nature
can
help
relieve
stress,
improve
your
mood
and
increase
feelings
of
happiness
and
well-being.

We
Are
What
We
Eat
Nowadays,
many
teenagers
have
bad
eating
habits,
which
worries
us
a
lot.
As
we
all
know,
we
are
what
we
eat

what
we
eat
affects
our
health
greatly.
Healthy
eating
can
help
us
feel
well,
work
efficiently
and
live
long.
So
it’s
time
to
change
the
bad
eating
habits.
Firstly,
we
shouldn’t
be
particular
about
food
because
various
diets
provide
us
with
enough
nutrition.
Besides,
it’s
harmful
to
skip
breakfast,
without
which
we
can’t
keep
energetic
all
day.
Finally,
it’s
not
suggested
that
we
eat
junk
food,
which
is
closely
related
to

problems.
In
brief,
it’s
important
and
necessary
for
teenagers
to

to

materials
that
people
throw
away.
M:
What
for?
W:
To
make
something
useful,
like
toys
and
shopping
bags
and
so
on.
Then
we’ll
give
them
away
to
the
neighbors.
M:
Good
idea.
I’d
like
to
join
you.
When
and
where
will
you
gather?
W:
At
the
entrance
to
our
community.
I’ll
be
present
at
9
am.
You’d
better
arrive
ten
minutes
after
that.

M:
Good
afternoon!
W:
Good
afternoon!
What
can
I
do
for
you?
M:
I’d
like
to
buy
a
skirt
for
my
daughter.
W:
Well,
how
old
is
your
daughter?
M:
Thirteen.
W:
What
about
these
white
ones?
Many
young
girls
like
them.
M:
They’re
not
bad,
but
yellow
is
my
daughter’s
favorite
color.
Do
you
have
any
yellow
skirts?
W:
We
have
these
ones.
They
are
beautiful.
M:
How
much
are
they?
W:
68
dollars.
M:
That’s
a
little
expensive
for
me.
Do
you
have
any
cheaper
ones?
W:
Yes.
This
one
is
on
sale.
It’s
only
half
of
that
one.
M:
Okay.
I
will
take
it.

M:
So,
tomorrow
is?the?big?day.?I’m?feeling?excited.
W:
Not?me.?I’ve?never?liked?standing?up?in?front?of?the?class.
M:
Take
it
easy.?We’ve?read?many?books?about?the?subject,?and?we’ve?practiced?lots?of?times.
W:
Do
you
think
we’ve
got
enough
things
to
talk
about?
I
mean,
Miss
Grace
said
she
didn’t
want
us
to
speak
for
more
than
15
minutes
but
now
...
I’m
not
sure
we
can
talk
for
that
long.
M:
Well,
we
worked
hard
and
we’ve
got
plenty
of
materials.
And
I’ve
managed
to
find
some
photographs
we
can
use
for
the
presentation.
I’ll
put
them
up
on
the
wall
before
the
class
starts.
W:
There’s
another
thing.
We
need
to
leave
some
time
at
the
end
in
case
people
want
to
ask
us
something,
don’t
we?
Do
you
think
we’ll
be
able
to
answer
them?
M:
If?there?are?any?difficult?ones,?we?can?tell?people?we’ll?find?out?after?the?class.
W:
Look,
why?don’t?we?meet?again??Just?to?make?sure?we?get?everything?perfect.
M:
Um,
yeah,
it?would?be?a?good?idea.?We
can?practice?tomorrow?morning?if?you?want.
W:
That’s
OK.

Hi,
there.
My
name’s
Wendy,
and
I’d
like
to
tell
you
about
a
fantastic
trip
to
New
Zealand.
New
Zealand
has
two
main
islands—the
North
Island
and
the
South
Island.
I
went
to
the
South
Island.
There
are
many
ways
to
see
it
—you
can
hire
a
car
to
drive,
or
go
around
by
motorbike.
You
can
even
see
the
island
by
boat,
but
I
went
on
what’s
known
as
the
green
bus.
We
started
in
Nelson,
which
is
in
the
north-west
of
the
island.
Then
we
headed
off
down
the
west
coast,
stopping
at
different
places
and
up
to
our
final
destination—Christchurch,
the
second
largest
city
in
New
Zealand,
lying
on
the
east
coast.
I
also
went
on
a
day
tour
to
a
place
called
Kaikoura,
which
is
150
kilometers
north
of
Christchurch.
It
is
famous
for
its
sea
life
and
also
for
being
one
of
the
most
exciting
places
in
the
world
to
see
ocean
birds.
I
was
eager
to
see
my
favorite
animal-dolphins,
and
there
were
whales
too.
There’re
interesting
things
to
buy
on
the
South
Island.
Nelson
Saturday
Market
is
brilliant.
There’re
all
sorts
of
goods
in
the
market.
I
got
a
fantastic
wooden
mask
as
a
souvenir,
but
there
were
also
paintings,
jewelery
and
other
things
that
would
have
been
nice
to
bring
home.
