Unit 7 Everyone has something to do.

Teaching procedures:
I. Leading-in and revision.
(1) Revise the pronunciation of sp-: show some words, let students read them out.
(2) Show some pictures, and ask: What does he/she do? What can he/she do? Play a game shout and whisper with these words.
(3) Show students a picture of Miss Yang, and ask:
梂ho is she? 桽he is Miss Yang.
梂hat does she do? She is a teacher.
She is a sweet and kind teacher. She teaches all of us. Thanks to Miss Yang.
II. Listen and chant. (Task 8)
(1) Play the tape three times, students listen to the tape. Teach students to beat time.
(2) Give students two minutes to practice the chant. (Pay attention to the pronunciation of 杄r)
(3) The students chant together.
III. I can say. (Task 9)
(1)Show the sentences, let students read after the teacher.
(2)Read several words, let students complete the sentences.
IV. I can read and spell. (Task 9)
(1) Read the words drive, driver together, let students find some words with letters 杁r.
(2) Read the words look, book together, let students find some words with letters 杘o.
V. I can listen, read, write and say. (Task 9)
(1) Play the tape twice, let students read after the tape.
(2) Give students two minutes to remember the words.
(3) Play a passing game. The first one of each group comes to the stage to pick a piece of paper. Then pass the letters in the paper one by one, the last one come to the stage and write the words on the blackboard. Then check the answers.
VI. Homework: recite the _sentence_pattern_s of unit 7.
