副词短语：由不止一个词组成，但整个短语的功用相当于副词， 这样的短语就是副词短语，作用和副词一样，修饰形容词，副词，动词或句子。

(1) 时间副词短语：一段时间+ago, just now, so far, since+过去的时间点, for+一段时间, once a week, four times, again and again, right away, just now
He arrived two days ago.（过去的时间状语）
(2) 地点副词短语: throughout the world, here and there, up and down, far away, on the way, along the street, at the door（地点副词放句首，句子要到装）
Along the road came a group of children. 一群孩子沿着公路走来。

(3) 程度副词短语：too... to, enough... to, much too（与too much相区别开）
He is too young to dress himself.= He is not old enough to dress himself.
(4) 连接副词短语： for a start(顺序)，after all（结果），as a result，on the contrary，above all, in short(引申)，
This project won't work: for a start, it'll cost too much.
这个项目不会有效：首先，它成本太高。
(5) 疑问副词短语：how often/ long/soon/ far/many/ much/old/tall/high
--How soon will he be back? -- In a week.
How often do you go to gym? 你多久去一次健身馆？
考点三 使副词短语的注意点

(1) 疑问副词引导特殊疑问句时，其后应接一般疑问句，但有时可有所省略：
Why not ask the teacher? = Why don't you ask the teacher? 何不问老师呢？
(2) 有时两个疑问副词连用：
When and where were you born? 你生于何时何地？
(3) how about doing sth.=what about doing sth.(表建议：干某事如何）
How about having a picnic? 去野餐如何？
(4) 疑问词+不定式：作主语，宾语，表语等
I don't know how to get there?= I don't know how I can get there?
