考点一 one/it/that/those
知识梳理
1. it 为人称代词，代替可数名词单数，指前面提到过的同一事物，还可指性别不详的婴儿或心目中所想到的人。
2. one为不定代词，代替可数名词单数，指同类中的任何一个人或物，其复数形式为ones，代替可数名词复数。
3. 为了避免重复，可用that或those代替前面提到过的名词，但不用this或these.
考点二 either/both
知识梳理
1. either作定语时后接单数名词，而either of 后接复数名词。
如： There are roses either side of the door.
门的两边都有玫瑰花。
I don’t like either of my math teachers .
两个数学老师我都不喜欢。
2. both后接复数名词，谓语动词用复数 。
Both of his parents are teachers. 他的父母都是老师。

1. each 用作形容词或代词，是“单个”的意思，用于两个或两个以上的人或物，侧重于个体或个性。
On each side of the road there are many trees.
路的两边有许多树。（不用能every）
2. every只用作形容词，是“每一个”的意思，用于三个以上的人或物，侧重于全体、整体或共性。
On each(=every) side of the square there are flowers.
在广场四周都是鲜花。

1.everyone 指三个以上的人，但不能指物，其后不能接of短语。
2.every one 指三个以上的人或物，其后可接of短语：
Every one of us likes English.=Everyone likes English.
我们每个人都喜欢英语
All the students are happy.
Every student is happy.
Every one of the students is happy.
Everyone is happy。
考点五 neither
知识梳理
neither后面的名词只用单数，作主语时，谓语动词也只用单数。
例如： Neither of the answers is right. = Neither answer is right.
两个答案都是错的。
Neither of them passes the exam.
Neither girl passes the exam.
考点六 others/the others

1. others意为“别的，别人”，泛指其他的人或物。
例如: He is always ready to help others.
2. the others意为“其余的”，相当于the rest,特指全体中其余的人或物。
例如：Some are listening to the radio. The others are watching TV.
一些人在听广播，一些人在看电视。
