本课的主要语言功能句是How did you learn English? We learned English by doing… / from… 询问和回答别人怎样学习英语,理解并初步会运用句型How did you learn English? We learned English by doing things. / from each other.; do tasks, have an English party, act in drama, learn from each other为三会短语,subject, lesson, but, yesterday, why和use为四会单词。
本课是学生在新版英语教材一、二单元假期活动、历史知识两个单元话题学习的基础上, 进一步学习the English learning in primary school的语言内容。 学生通过之前的学习,已对过去时态有了初步的了解,掌握了一些动词的过去式,如:talked, learned, read, wrote…, 能初步运用一般过去时表述过去所做的事情,结合学生已有的语言知识、语言技能及对过去学习生活的回顾,引出 How did you learn English? 的问句和答语,进一步拓展学习语言内容。

一、设置情境,交代任务,导入新课
(一)设置情境,激发兴趣:
师生互致问候后, 出示本班集体照,进入主题:
T:This is the last year in primary school. You have learned a lot in our school. Today let’s talk about our school life, OK? (OK)
【设计意图】直入主题,交代本课情境:谈论小学学习生活。
(二)Ask and answer. 师生问答,学习四会单词:
T: We have many subjects in our school. What subjects are you interested in?
S: I am interested in … (学生自由回答,教师适时板书subject,学生拼读。)
T: Oh, they are really very interesting. But what subject do you like best? Why?
S: I like English best. Because … (学生自由回答,教师适时板书but和why,学生拼读。)
T: Yes, we learned a lot in our English lessons. I know all of you are good at English. Yesterday I found some photos. I used them to make a video. Do you want to watch it? (教师适时板书lesson, yesterday和use,学生拼读。)
S: Yes!
T: Let’s watch it.
【设计意图】学习本课的6个四会单词,并通过观看视频导入本课主题,为后续的进一步学习本课主要句式做好铺垫。
二、回顾小学学习英语的方式,学习本课重点句式及词汇
(一)通过观看视频,回顾学习英语的方式,初步感知本课重点句式
T: How did you learn English? (板书词句)
S: I / We listened and spoke.
T: Yes, you learned English by listening and speaking. (板书We learned English by)
【设计意图】引导学生用一般过去时回答问题,并以We learned English by doing things.的句式进行转换,使学生初步感知本课的重点句式。
(二)通过问答,学习本课三会词汇
T: You learned English in so many ways. What about other children? How did they learn English? Do you want to know? (Yes!)
【设计意图】运用Smart 白板的擦除功能逐步出示本课三会词汇的图,让学生根据图的内容猜测本课三会词汇:do tasks, have an English party, act in drama.
S: They did tasks. (适时板书do tasks)
T: Yes, they learned English by doing tasks. Did you learn English by doing tasks? (补充板书:doing tasks,学生齐读:We learned English by doing tasks.)
运用同样的方法学习have an English party及act in drama(借助旧知: do role play加以解释)
T: Did you learn from each other?
S: Yes, we learn from each other. (适时板书: We learned from each other.)
【设计意图】运用Smart 白板的擦除功能学习本课另一重点句:We learned from each other.
三、巩固所学,自由交流。
(一) 运用所学语言进行调查
T: We learned English by listening, speaking, reading, writing, chanting, doing role play and working in pairs or in groups. (边介绍,边出示本课调查表,并出示第一行的内容。) How did your classmates learn English? How did you learn English? Let’s make a survey. (OK!)
全班学生填写教材中的调查表,运用How did you learn English?及其答语进行问答,随机挑选学生运用白板的书写功能和无限克隆功能进行展示。
【设计意图】结合smart白板的书写及无限克隆功能将本课第三项Let’s talk 置于真情实景中,用所学语言作调查,记录调查结果,实现听说读写在真实交际情境下的运用,培养初步的语言运用能力。
(二)Let’s chant.
T: I know one way to learn English. We learned English by chanting. Let’s chant, OK? (OK!)
观看本课Let’s chant 动画
T: What did you learn in the chant? 帮助熟悉wh的发音规律[w],然后再次观看动画,跟唱韵句。
【设计意图】 学习本课chant,培养学生发音规律及英语语感和节奏感。
三、拓展所学,练习书写。
T: We learned English in so many ways. How about other subjects? Let’s write something about them.
Eg.
I learned a lot in Binhu Primary School. I like … best. In … class, I …
【设计意图】 通过半命题式的小段文书写,拓展本课所学,帮助学生总结学习其它课程的方法,使本课所学内容得到升华。
