[教材分析]:本节课是一节阅读课,本课时通过Little Duck和Old Tree关于影子变长的对话,来探讨太阳高度与影子长短变化的关系。要求学生能够理解故事大意,让学生在情境中感知句型的语义及语用情景,并能根据意群和语音语调进行跟读和复述,能够在理解的基础上解释太阳高度与影子长短变化的关系,让学生能够在活动中提高阅读能力和理解能力。

1.大部分学生能充分理解文本,并能用正确的语音、语调、能按意群朗读文本。
2. 90%的学生能够听、说、读、写比较级,并在情境中熟练运用。
3.所有学生能够简单解释太阳高度与影子长短变化的关系。
过程与方法目标:
1.通过快读、细读、听音回答问题、读一读、圈一圈、划一划等方法帮助学生理解文本,并培养初步的听力理解及阅读理解的能力。
2.通过朗读技巧的指导,模仿正确的语音、语调,帮助学生能够按意群朗读文本。
3. 坚持以话题为核心,以功能,结构为主线,以任务型活动安排本课,从图片中寻找兴趣点,创设外语语言气氛围,激发学生的学习兴趣,让学生在参 与活动中,掌握知识,发展能力。
情感态度与价值观目标:通过了解自然,学习自然,帮助学生热爱自然,保护环境,培养学生保护环境,爱护自然的意识。

[Teaching procedures]
Step1 Warm up
1. Greeting
2. Puzzle game
Puzzle game: Let’s find the pieces.
Give students an example first.
Students try to find others.
[Purpose: to create a relaxing learning atmosphere and to review the knowledge learned so that we can make a good preparation.]
Step2 Presentation and practice
Pre-reading.
Show a picture of spring: What season it is? It’s spring. Spring is coming. The sky is clearer and the sun is brighter. Maybe we can take a trip. Wu Yifan and his family are going on a trip, too. They go to the countryside. And Wu Yifan has a story to tell Robin.
Guess: Who is in the story? Little Duck and Old Tree.
Teacher puts the pictures onto the blackboard.
While-reading
(1)Students read quickly and choose a title for the story.
(2) Guess: What is Little Duck doing?
[Presupposition:students can guess out many things and teacher can also guesses together.]
Read the first paragraph carefully and answer:
1. What is Little Duck doing?
2. What happened?
Discuss in groups.
Share together.
Teacher puts the pictures onto the blackboard.
(3) Guess: What is Little Duck’s question?
Read the second and the third paragraph carefully and underline: What is Little Duck’s question? How does Old Tree answer him?
Discuss in groups.
Share together.
Teacher puts the pictures onto the blackboard.
(4)Read carefully again and circle the words you don’t know.
Students find out their problems.
(5) Students discuss in groups and solve the problems.
Then discuss together about the words they still don’t know.
Students learn to learn the new words “smarter, becoming, grow”.
[Presupposition: students can say well by themselves and teacher should play a good part of a guider. Make complements when necessary.]
(6) Shadow reading.
[Purpose: to enlighten students to learn by themselves, to practice their ability of listening, speaking and reading, making students the real masters of study.]
3. Post reading
(1) Choose the answers.
(2) Retell the story with the help of the mind map.
(3) Finish the dialogue. Teacher leads them to think about what we should pay attention to and presents the writing tips.
(4) Students write down the answers on the book.
(5) Show and give assessment.
[Purpose: to consolidate the knowledge learned this class. To inspire their sense of achievement.]
