Why do you like Australia?教学设计
教材及学情分析:
本节课授课内容是新标准英语第八册第九模块的第一单元。主要以介绍澳大利亚为主线,以Why…?Because…为主要句型, 使学生能在真实语言环境中用英语进行交流,表达个人见解, 材料贴近生活,具有很强的实用性。
教学目标:
让学生在完成学习任务和参与各种形式教学活动的过程中,通过smile和sticker奖励机制,使学生保持并延续学习英语的兴趣,并把这种兴趣逐步转移为对英语知识本身的兴趣。提高学英语,用英语的能力,做到能学并乐学。达成以下目标:
知识目标:Knowledge aims:
1、90% of the students should be able to understand and say the key sentence:Why do you like Australia? Because I love Australian animals Why do you love kangaroos and koalas?Because they are very very cute.. What language do they speak in Australia?They speak English.
2、90% of the students should be able to listen ,speak and write the main words:language Australia Australian because map kangaroo koala
3、90% of the students should be able to say:Why do you like Australia? Because I love Australian animals Why do you love kangaroos and koalas?Because they are very very cute.. What language do they speak in Australia?They speak English.
4、80% of the students should be able to use:Australia和Australian

解决课文重难点,并延伸到课外,了解更多国外人文常识,激发学生热爱动物,热爱大自然的情感。
学习策略目标:
在词语与相应事物之间建立联想,运用图片建立运动词汇图。
教学重难点:
全体学生能听懂并运用:language Australia Australian because map kangaroo koala及Why do you like Australia? Because I love Australian animals Why do you love kangaroos and koalas?Because they are very very cute.. What language do they speak in Australia?They speak English.
教学过程:
Step1 Warm _up
Greetings:T:Hello,boys and girls.
随音乐唱第七册module1的歌曲<Chinese>>.T:Let’s sing the song.
(活跃课堂气氛,使学生进入英语学习状态。复习这首歌曲,回顾其中有关国家的单词,为下一步学习澳大利亚作铺垫.?Song用幻灯出示在屏幕上让学生看着唱。)
Step2 Presentation
T: Look ,What’s this? Then show a map .教学新单词map 并指导发音。
T: Do you know more about Australia?Play the video.learn the new word “kangaroo、koala”,并指导发音。
T:Do you want to go to Australia? And Amy wants to go there.
Lingling ask Amy some questions,listen and answer.
Then ask ss find “why” from the books,and discuss how does Amy answer them? Show 单词卡“because”教学新单词 并指导发音。Write the sentences on the Blackboard.
Listen and repeat and have a competition in groups
Step3: Practice
1.fill in the blanks
2.Practice in groups, Then show it .课件出示各种动物照片,运用句型练习。
Step4:Consolidation (语言运用,兴趣拓展,突破难点)
引导学生注意在日常对话中,如果有用Why..?提出的问题,要用Because…来回答.同桌两人谈论喜欢什么学科一人用why..?提问,另一人用because…回答.
2.学生讨论的同时,教师根据学生的能力不同,指导学生用尽可能多的理由来说明为什么喜欢.对能力较强的学生教师可提供给他们更多的词汇和思路,做到因材施教,因人而异.

3.学生自由讨论后,教师邀请学生两两一组进行对话示范.
4.在生生对话中,教师对好的加以表扬.(设计意图:通过学生自由讨论,使他们把学到的语言知识运用到语言实践中去。
通过找喜爱学科的各种原因,使学生充分发挥其想象的空间,开拓思维. 巩固了学生的语言交际能力, 强化语言知识, 突破难点。同时给学生创造开口说英语,在众人前表演的机会,展现自我,培养自信心。)
