三、过去进行时
1. 定义：
表示过去某个时刻或某一时间段正在进行或发
生的动作。
2. 时间标志词：
this time yesterday, at 9:00 yesterday morning

或when, while 引导的时间状语从句。
3. 构成：
基本结构：主语+was/were + doing +其他。
否定形式：主语+wasn’t/weren’t +doing+其他。
一般疑问句：Was/Were+主语+doing+其他？
肯定回答：Yes, 主语+was/were.
否定回答：No, 主语+wasn’t/weren’t.
特殊疑问句：特殊疑问词+ was/were +主语

四、when 和 while 用法小结
1. 相同点： when 和 while 都可以作从属连词。
引导时间状语从句。
都有“当……的时候”的意思。

一般指一段时间
表状态的延续性动词
有时when可以代替while，而while则不能代替when。
when引导的时间状语从句中，从句的动作和主句的动作可以同时发生，也可以一前一后先后发生；
while则强调主句和从句的动作同时发生。
when后面通常接一般过去时的从句，而while后接进行时态的句子。
