文本分析:本课选自冀教版英语七年级上册Lesson18 We all look different,需要一课时，本课主要学习描述人的外貌，正确使用一些形容词及动词is、has来描述人的外貌,通过学习本课，学生会描述某人外貌特征，有的人看起来漂亮，有的人看起来酷，有的人看起来英俊帅气，小孩看起来可爱，有的高，有的矮，有的胖，有的瘦，肤色、头发各异，我们都看起来不同，每个人都是特殊的、都是唯一的，世界上没有两片完全相同的叶子，我们要爱惜自己，尊重并善待他人，不要以貌取人。
学情分析：学生以前学过简单的自我介绍，掌握了描写人的一些词及句型，七年级学生学英语兴趣较浓厚，学生敢说，能自由表达，说出自己的真实想法。老师通过平时的观察、和学生谈心、上课问答、其他任课教师反映的情况，采取自由表达，再因势利导，学生说、练、总结，聚焦课堂活动，提高学生思维品质。
Teaching objectives: at the end of the class the students will be able
to describe the people’s appearance by using some adjective words (tall, short, fat ,thin, of medium height)and verbs 搃s , 揾as correctly
(2) to know there aren抰 two same leaves in the world ,we抮e unique, we抮e special , learn to respect and understand the other people.

教学反思：本节课听、说、读、写、看环节紧扣，逐步达成教学目标。教师出示并分析教学目标，先复习形容词并板书到黑板上，然后学生看、读文本，发现动词的不同，练习巩固词汇，听力、朗读紧跟，用结构图总结怎样描写人的外貌，小组合作写一写猜一猜，学生积极参与，检验学习效果，作业布置合理。自己感觉总结时再加一句话就好了，告诉学生“无论高矮胖瘦头发肤色怎样，健康就好”。
