文本分析:本课选自冀教版英语七年级上册Lesson18 We all look different,需要一课时,本课主要学习描述人的外貌,正确使用一些形容词及动词is、has来描述人的外貌,通过学习本课,学生会描述某人外貌特征,有的人看起来漂亮,有的人看起来酷,有的人看起来英俊帅气,小孩看起来可爱,有的高,有的矮,有的胖,有的瘦,肤色、头发各异,我们都看起来不同,每个人都是特殊的、都是唯一的,世界上没有两片完全相同的叶子,我们要爱惜自己,尊重并善待他人,不要以貌取人。
学情分析:学生以前学过简单的自我介绍,掌握了描写人的一些词及句型,七年级学生学英语兴趣较浓厚,学生敢说,能自由表达,说出自己的真实想法。老师通过平时的观察、和学生谈心、上课问答、其他任课教师反映的情况,采取自由表达,再因势利导,学生说、练、总结,聚焦课堂活动,提高学生思维品质。
Teaching objectives: at the end of the class the students will be able
to describe the people’s appearance by using some adjective words (tall, short, fat ,thin, of medium height)and verbs 搃s , 揾as correctly
(2) to know there aren抰 two same leaves in the world ,we抮e unique, we抮e special , learn to respect and understand the other people.
Teaching Steps
Step 1 Review words (ppt look and say)
tall、short、of medium height、heavy、thin、long hair、short hair、straight hair、curly hair、young、handsome、actor、actress and person
Step 2 Read and answer
(1) This is my friend. He’s George. He is tall and thin. He has short、straight and brown hair.
(2) This is Gong Li. She’s of medium height. She has short black hair. She wears glasses.

教学反思:本节课听、说、读、写、看环节紧扣,逐步达成教学目标。教师出示并分析教学目标,先复习形容词并板书到黑板上,然后学生看、读文本,发现动词的不同,练习巩固词汇,听力、朗读紧跟,用结构图总结怎样描写人的外貌,小组合作写一写猜一猜,学生积极参与,检验学习效果,作业布置合理。自己感觉总结时再加一句话就好了,告诉学生“无论高矮胖瘦头发肤色怎样,健康就好”。
