一般过去时
一、概念
1.表示在过去的某个时间里所发生的动作或存在的状态。通常与下列表示过去的时间状语连用:
yesterday,
last
night,last
week,
an
hour
ago,in1982等。如:

yesterday.昨天我在动物园。

2.表示在过去一段时间内,经常性或习惯性的动作或行为常和
often,
always等频度副词连用。如:

street.当我还是孩子的时候,我经常在街道上踢足球
(2)My
father

drove
to
work
last
year.去年,我爸爸经常开车去上班。
3.表示过去主语过具备能力或性格。如:

ago.三年前他还是一个害羞的小男孩。
二、句子结构
1.在表示某段时间里存在的状态的句子,系动词用过去式was,were构成。如:

2.在表示过去某个时间里发生的动作,用动词的过去式构成。如:

3.各种句式
(1)一般过去时的肯定陈述句:
主语十动词过去式十+(宾语或表语)+状语。如:

worked

ago.他十年前在上海工作。
(2)一般过去时的否定句:
a.主语+didn't+动词原形十(宾语)+(状语)。如:

didn't

b.主语+wasn't/

(3)一般过去时的一般疑问句:

三、动词过去式的变化
1.规则变化
(1)在动词后加-ed,如:work-
worked
(2)以不发音的字母ε结尾的动词,在词尾加d,如:
invite
invited。
(3)以“辅音字母+y"结尾,变y为,再加d如
carry
carried
(4)重读闭音节,且末尾只有一个轴音字母时,先双写该轴音字母再加-ed,如:stop-
stopped
2.不规则变化
不规则形式(可参见课本后面的不规则动词过去式表),如have-
had:
go-went等。
