教学设计（含教材分析、学情分析、教学过程、板书设计等）
教学内容：
Module1 Unit5 Nelson Mandela—Using structure
课型：听说课
教学时间：40分钟
教材分析：
这节课的内容是曼德拉的生平和评价。教材选用课本speaking部分的profile和视频“纪念曼德拉”。本节课主要是以听说为主，输入是视频和课文的介绍。通过听，说和讨论一系列活动，去分析伟人的品质，发觉自身的英雄气质。课堂的输出为对话表演。课后还要求学生就本堂课所学内容写一篇关于曼德拉的文章。我要进行的这个课程是让学生运用本单元所学的语言知识与阅读内容进行听、说、写的训练。这样,既帮助学生巩固所学的语言及文化知识,也练习学生语言运用能力。
学情分析：
本班共有45名学生，分为8个学习小组。高中课程改革把“为了每一位学生的发展”置于课程改革的核心。我班大部分学生对英语有一定的兴趣,但其学习主动性,自主运用、探究学习的能力还有待于提高。这就要求有梯度的设置任务,使用分层教学,提高学生的参与度,使不同层次的学生有机会展示自己,获得成就感,体验学习的快乐。本班大多数学生比较活泼好动,因此只有投其所好,才有可能调动学习的积极性,为此我特意设计小组活动及合作探究的学习方法，从而提高教学效率。
教学目标：
1.语言技能
训练听和说的技能；
使学生能运用各种方式表达自己的观点； 学会如何运动升调降调停顿来表达情感。
2.知识技能
定语从句和关于品质的词语
3.情感态度
学会合作；
通过学习伟人的品质，提升自我的品格；
培养学生发现自己和周围人的英雄气质的能力。
教学难点：
1. 根据现有材料分析曼德拉的品质并表的自己个人观点
2. 用定语从句来表达自己对曼德拉的评价。
教学方法：
交际法教学，任务型教学和小组合作学习
教学手段：

Step 4 Watch the Video 2（4mins） 1. Show the video 2 2. 1. Fill in the blank with the right words. To know the life
stories and comments of Nelson Mandela. To learn some new
words to describe Mandela.
Step 5 Imitation (4mins) Encourage the Ss to imitate Mandela Imitate Mandela To learn the way of stressing, rising and falling tones.
Step 6 Discussion—Group work
（10mins） Lead the Ss to work in groups and find out what qualities make Mandela a great man. Analyzing the materials to Find out what qualities make Mandela a great man. To cultivate critical thinking.
Step 7 Mandela show—Pair work （8mins） Lead the Ss to work in two to talk about Mandela Talk about Mandela with desk mate. To learn the ways of asking and giving
opinions.
Step 8 To find heroes in and around us （1mins） Play the song--Hero Sing the song Hero and find out heroes among them. To build up the Ss’ belief in themselves and find the beauty of
the people around them.
Step 9 Sum-up（2mins） Sum up what we
learned in this class. Reflect what they have learned. To consolidate what is learned.
