Saroo
Brierley,
a
4-year-old
boy,
lived
in
rural
India.
One
day,
he
played
with
his
brother
along
the
rail
line
and
fell
asleep.
When
he
woke
up,
he
found
himself
alone.
So
he
got
on
the
train
in
front
of
him
to
search
for
his
brother.
That
train
took
him
a
thousand
miles
across
the
country
to
a
totally
strange
city.
He
lived
on
the
streets,
and
then
in
an
orphanage(孤儿院),
where
he
was
adopted
by
an
Australian
family
and
taken
to
Tasmania.
Brierley
is
a
famous
writer
now,
and
in
his
new
book,
A
Long
Way
Home,
he
wrote
he
couldn’t
help
but
wonder
about
his
hometown
back
in
India.
He
remembered
landmarks,
but
since
he
didn’t
know
his
town’s
name,
finding
a
small
neighborhood
in
a
vast
country
seemed
impossible.
Then
he
found
a
digital
mapping
program.
He
spent
years
searching
for
his
hometown
in
the
program’s
satellite
pictures.
In
2011,
he
came
across
something
familiar.
He
studied
it
and
realized
he
was
looking
at
a
town’s
central
business
district
from
a
bird’s-eye
view.
He
thought,
“On
the
right-hand
side
you
should
see
the
three-platform
train
station”—and
there
it
was.
“And
on
the
left-hand
side
you
should
see
a
big
fountain”—and
there
it
was.
Everything
matched!
Standing
in
front
of
the
house
where
he
grew
up
as
a
child,
he
saw
a
lady
standing
at
the
entrance.
It
took
him
a
few
seconds
but
he
finally
remembered
what
she
used
to
look
like.
In
an
interview
Brierley
says,
“My
mother
came
forth
and
walked
forward,
and
I
walked
forward,
my
eyes
filled
with
tears
and
my
brain
blank.
I
just
didn’t
know
what
to
say,
because
I
never
thought
seeing
my
mother
would
ever
come
true.
And
here
I
am,
standing
in
front
of
her.”
24.
Why
did
Brierley
get
on
the
train
when
he
was
a
little
boy?
A.
To
go
back
to
his
home.
B.
To
look
for
his
brother.
C.
To
travel
to
Tasmania.
D.
To
follow
a
stranger.
25.
What
made
it
difficult
for
Brierley
to
find
his
hometown?
A.
The
vast
area
of
India.
B.
The
fact
that
he
was
nobody
then.
C.
His
not
remembering
the
town’s
name.
D.
The
distance
between
Australia
and
his
hometown.
26.
How
did
Brierley
find
his
hometown?
A.
By
studying
digital
maps.
B.
By
analyzing
old
pictures.
C.
By
travelling
all
around
India.
D.
By
spreading
his
story
via
his
book.
27.
What’s
the
best
title
of
the
passage?
A.
Love
for
Mother
B.
Union
with
Brother
C.
Memory
of
Hometown
D.
Long
Way
back
Home
C
Humans
are
the
only
creature
that
gets
around
by
standing
up
and
putting
one
foot
in
front
of
the
other.
Our
ability
to
walk
upright
has
allowed
humankind
to
travel
great
distances
and
survive
changing
climates,
environments
and
landscapes.
Countless
scientific
studies
have
found
that
walking
is
really
good
for
us
and
this
simple
act
can
provide
a
number
of
health
implications,
which
help
people
live
longer.
In
fact,
a
walking
routine,
if
done
properly,
might
be
the
only
exercise
people
need.
How
much
walking
should
one
aim
for?
You’ve
likely
heard
we
need
10,000
steps
a
day.
That’s
about
5
miles.
But
contrary
to
popular
belief,
this
recommendation
doesn’t
come
from
science.
Instead,
it
is
from
a
1960s
advertising
campaign
to
promote
a
pedometer(计步器)
in
Japan.
Perhaps
because
it’s
a
round
number
and
easy
to
remember,
it
stuck.
Since
the
1960s,
researchers
have
studied
the
10,000-steps-a-day
standard
and
have
turned
up
mixed
results.
Although
10,000
steps
is
certainly
a
healthy
and
worthwhile
goal,
it’s
not
fit
for
all.
For
instance,
a
recent
Harvard
University
study
involving
more
than
16,000
senior
women
found
that
those
who
got
at
least
4,400
steps
a
day
greatly
reduced
their
risk
of
dying
early
when
compared
with
less
active
women.
The
study
also
noted
that
these
benefits
continued
up
to
7,500
steps.
This
7,500
mark
isn’t
surprising:
It’s
similar
to
common
public
health
recommendations,
such
as
the
Centers
for
Disease
Control
and
Prevention’s
recommendation
of
150
minutes
of
moderate
(适度的)
physical
activity
a
week
for
adults.
28.What
does
the
underlined
word
“implications”
in
Paragraph
2
refer
to?
A.
Benefits
B.
Problems.
C.
Habits.
D.
Manners.
29.
Where
does
the
10,000-steps-a-day
standard
come
from?
A.A
Harvard
University
study.
B.
Science
research
on
health.
C.
A
pedometer
advertisement.
D.
Public
health
recommendation.
What
can
we
know
from
the
last
paragraph?
7,500-steps-a-day
standard
is
the
best
choice
for
all.
More
than
16,000
old
people
were
involved
in
the
study.
Those
who
walk
at
least
4,400
steps
a
day
won’t
die
early.
150-minute
moderate
exercise
a
week
for
adults
is
advised.
31.What
does
the
author
mainly
want
to
tell
readers?
A.
The
more
you
walk
a
day,
the
healthier
you
will
be.
B.
We
can
benefit
from
continuous
and
proper
walking.
C.
Walking
upright
helps
humankind
to
explore
the
world.
D.
Advertisements
can
always
tell
us
some
scientific
suggestions
.
D
As
is
commonly
known,
Antarctica(南极洲)
is
an
icy
continent
with
extreme
environment.
However,
a
new
study
provides
evidence
that
the
area
had
a
rainforest
in
the
past.
The
researchers
collected
a
piece
of
Earth
sediment(沉积物)from
under
the
seafloor
off
the
coast
of
Antarctica.
In
the
sediment,
they
discovered
forest
material
that
was
estimated
to
be
about
90
million
years
old.
At
that
period,
dinosaurs
were
the
ruler
animals
of
the
land.
Johann
Klages,
a
German
geologist,
was
the
lead
writer
of
a
study
on
the
findings,
published
in
the
journal
Nature.
He
said
the
sediment
was
collected
from
a
depth
of
about
30
meters
below
the
ocean
floor.
Klages
said
an
examination
showed
that
the
material
didn’t
form
in
the
ocean.
The
researchers
estimate
that
the
area
—
about
900
kilometers
from
the
South
Pole
—
had
average
yearly
temperatures
of
about
12°C
to
13°C.
The
soil
included
fine
dirt
particles(颗粒)
and
hard
clay,
as
well
as
substances
linked
to
at
least
65
different
kinds
of
plants,
the
study
found.
Although
no
animal
remains
were
found,
Klages
said
there
were
likely
dinosaurs,
flying
reptiles
and
many
insects
in
the
environment.
The
research
represents
new
evidence
of
the
major
climate
changes
Earth
experienced
in
the
past
—
and
is
currently
undergoing
today.
The
soil
in
the
sediment
dates
back
to
the
planet’s
warmest
period
of
the
past
140
million
years,
with
sea
level
about
170
meters
higher
than
today.
The
researchers
said
that
the
rainforest
environment
in
Antarctica
was
especially
surprising
because
each
year,
the
area
experiences
a
four-month
polar
night
when
there
is
no
sunlight
to
fuel
plant
life.
Klages
said
no
ice
sheets
were
present
during
the
time,
but
seasonal
snowfall
was
likely.
32.
What
can
we
learn
about
the
sediment
collected?
A.
It
formed
in
the
age
of
dinosaurs.
B.
It
was
found
on
the
Antarctica
land.
C.
Ancient
forest
material
was
found
in
it.
D.
Some
dinosaur
remains
were
found
in
it.
33.
How
did
the
researchers
reach
their
findings?
A.
By
analyzing
the
Earth
sediment.
B.
By
exploring
ice
in
Antarctica.
C.
By
collecting
data
on
climate.
D.
By
researching
special
plants.
34.
What
can
be
indicated
in
the
last
paragraph?
A.
Seasonal
snowfall
made
the
forest
disappear.
B.
Antarctica
was
much
colder
140
million
years
ago.
C.
Antarctica’s
natural
environment
has
changed
greatly.
D.
Polar
nights
in
Antarctica
are
getting
shorter
than
before.
35.
What
is
the
main
idea
of
the
text?
A.
Rainforest
disappeared
from
Antarctica.
B.
Antarctica
had
a
different
history
of
climate.
C.
Researchers
studied
a
piece
of
Earth
sediment
of
Antarctica.
D.
Antarctica
had
an
extreme
environment
containing
ice
and
snow.

Culture
Shock
The
term,
culture
shock,
describes
the
anxiety
produced
when
a
person
moves
to
a
completely
new
environment.
Culture
shock
happens
to
all
people
who
travel
abroad.
36
Honeymoon
stage.
During
the
first
few
days
of
a
person’s
stay
in
a
new
country,
everything
usually
goes
fairly
smoothly.
The
newcomer
is
excited
about
being
in
a
new
place.
This
first
stage
of
culture
shock
is
called
the
“honeymoon
stage”.
37
Unfortunately,
this
often
comes
to
an
end
fairly
soon.
Reject
stage.
In
the
second
stage,
a
person
may
encounter
some
difficult
times
in
daily
life.
The
newcomer
starts
to
reject
the
foreign
country,
complaining
about
and
noticing
only
the
bad
things.
At
this
stage
the
newcomer
either
gets
stronger
and
stays,
or
gets
weaker
and
goes
home.
38
If
you
don’t
get
through
stage
two
successfully,
you
may
move
into
the
third
stage.
The
word
“regression”
means
moving
backward
to
your
homeland.
In
this
stage,
you
spend
much
time
speaking
your
own
language.
39
In
addition,
you
only
want
to
eat
food
from
home.
Recovery
stage.
If
you
get
through
the
third
stage
successfully
(or
miss
it
completely),
you
will
move
into
the
fourth
stage
of
culture
shock:
“recovery
stage”.
In
this
stage
you
become
more
comfortable
with
the
language
and
the
customs
of
the
foreign
country.
Re-entry
stage.
40
One
may
find
that
things
are
no
longer
the
same.
For
example,
some
of
the
newly
acquired
customs
are
not
in
use
in
the
old
culture.
You
have
been
away
for
a
long
time
and
may
find
that
you
are
no
longer
completely
comfortable
in
your
home
country.
Reunion
stage.
Regression
stage.
Usually,
there
are
five
stages
of
culture
shock.
The
new
arrival
may
feel
excited
as

英语知识运用(共两节,满分45分)
第一节
完形填空(共20小题;每小题1.5分,满分30分)
阅读下面短文,从短文后各题所给四个选项(A、B、C和D)中,选出可以填入空白处的最佳选项,并在答题卡上将该项涂黑。
“Ladies
and
gentlemen,
the
time
train
has
arrived
at
the
terminal!”
It
felt
like
I
had
woken
up
from
a
dream,
41?
soon
discovered
I
had
come
to
2035.
Suddenly,
I
heard
a
strange
42?
calling
my
name.
I
turned
around,
only
to
find
a
robot
43?
to
me
enthusiastically.
“I'll
44
you
around
the
city
in
2035!”
I
nodded
immediately,
45
?
what
the
city
would
be
like.
Once
I
walked
out
of
the
train
station,
many
crossed
air
lanes
came
into
view.
The
robot,
seeing
how
46
?
I
was,
explained
the
new
traffic
system
to
me.
The
system
was
put
into
place
by
many
famous
engineers
using
highly
47?
technology.
In
fact,
it
eliminated
(消除)
the
issue
of
traffic
jams
entirely.
Next
we
made
our
way
to
a
48?
nearby.
Just
as
I
49?
that
there
was
no
menu,
a
waiter
began
to
scan
my
body
with
a
special
50?
,
which
gave
me
a
big
fright,
so
I
51?
out
of
my
seat
immediately.
The
robot
explained
it
was
just
a
machine
that
was
able
to
figure
out
52?
our
body
needed
and
chose
the
recipe
(食谱)
that
53?
us
most.
The
waiter
then
introduced
me
to
the
electronic
54
?
that
allowed
me
to
choose
the
environment
according
to
my
55?
.
I
pressed
the
“beach”
button
on
the
screen
and
56?
I
felt
a
sea
breeze.
I
couldn’t
help
but
57?
at
how
rapidly
technology
had
advanced.
We
58?
returned
to
the
train
station.
Just
as
I
59
?
the
train,
I
heard
a
familiar
voice
calling
my
name.
I
opened
my
eyes
to
see
my

standing
over
me.

第二节
书面表达(满分25分)
一、评分原则
1.
本题总分为25分,按5档次给分。
2.
评分时,先根据文章的内容和语言初步确定其所属档次,然后以该档次的要求来衡量,确定或调整档次,最后给分。
3.
评分时,应注意的主要内容为:内容要点、应用词汇和语法的准确性、上下文的连贯性及语言的得体性。
4.
拼写与标点符号是语言准确性的一个方面,评分时,应视其对交际的影响程度予以考试。
5.
如书写较差,以至影响交际,将分数降低一个档次。
二、内容要点:
写作的目的;
艺术节的安排;
活动的主题;
表达期盼。
三、要点认定:
1.
考生必须有较完整的句子表达出要点。如只有关键词而无主谓结构,不可视为要点写出。
2.
围绕要点的发挥,如有语言错误,则扣语言分。
四、为了操作方便,按表达要点的多少和使用语言的情况,划分为五个档次,列表说明如下:
档次
得分
要点数
语言情况
五
21—25
5
语言基本无误,行文连贯,表达清楚。
四
16—20
4
语言有少量错误,行文基本连贯,表达基本清楚。
三
11—15
3
语言有一些错误,尚能达意。
二
6—10
2
语言错误很多,影响表达。
一
0—5
1
只能写出与所要求内容有关的一些单词。
注意:
1.
原则上应按照考生所表达的要点数归档。如语言错误多,可降一档,如语言表达较好,可打该档最高分或上升一档。
2.
在同一档次内,根据语言错误的多少确定五个分值。
1—2个错误,取该档次分值的高线(如一档中的24-25分);3个错误,取该档次分值的中线(如一档中的23分);4个错误,取该档次分值的低线(如一档中的21-22);5个错误降一档(如二档中的20分)。以此类推。英语参考答案与评分细则

W:
So
what
are

M:
I’m
doing
some
research
on
the
Internet.
It
is
easy
for
me
to
spend
a
lot
of
time
searching
on
the

still

helps
me

I
like

W:
Why?
M:
I
like
listening
to
the
stories
behind
the
stamps.
Each
stamp
has
a

tell
of

W:

On
Tuesdays
it’s
football.
W:
Will
you
go?
M:
To
football?
No,
I
prefer
going
to
tennis.
But
I’ve
just
read
my
college
timetable;
I
have
basketball
classes
all
afternoon
on
Wednesdays.
W:
Then
maybe
I
won’t
go
to
that!
Is
there
anything
on
Thursdays?
M:
Mr.
Brown
is
running
his
usual
film
club
again,
just
like
last
year.
I
enjoyed
that.
W:
I’m
hoping
to
do
that
this
year
too.
And
on
Fridays,
the
local
singing
group
will
be
upstairs
and
the
guitar
group
is
downstairs.
I
tried
the
singing
group
two
years
ago,
but
the
songs
were
quite
boring.
M:
Well,
I
guess
I’ll
see
you
on
Thursday
evenings
then!
W:
Yes!

M:
Mary,
tomorrow
is
your
mum’s
50th
birthday,
you
know?
W:
Of
course
I
do.
How
shall
we
celebrate
it?
M:
First
of
all,
a
birthday
present.
What
about
buying
her
a
beautiful
skirt?
W:
That’s
a
good
idea.
It’ll
make
her
look
younger.
And
a
big
birthday
cake,
too,
with
50
candles.
M:
That’s
right.
Shall
we
have
a
special
dinner?
W:
How
about
a
Chinese
dinner?
M:
Fine.
Where
shall
we
have
it?
W:
We
can
have
it
at
home
and
learn
to
cook
a
few
dishes
from
a
Chinese
friend.
I’m
sure
Mum
will
like
them.
M:
All
right.
Are
you
going
to
do
the
shopping
as
well?
W:
Why
don’t
we
go
together,
Dad?
M:
OK.
When?
W:
How
about
this
afternoon?
(Text
10)
I’m
here
today
to
tell
you
about
my
career
as
a
writer.
I
wrote
my
first
novel
in
1987.
I
called
it
Sunset.
However,
it
didn’t
come
out
until
1996,
four
years
after
my
first
published
novel.
After
school,
I
went
to
university
where
I
studied
law.
However,
I
never
practiced
law.
I
was
lucky
enough
to
get
a
holiday
job
on
a
local
newspaper
as
a
reporter,
and
I
stayed
there.
This,
of
course,
gave
me
lots
of
opportunities
to
improve
my
writing
skills.
I
had
my
first
novel
published
during
that
period.
It
was
called
Tango.
It
wasn’t
a
great
success,
but
it
gave
me
useful
contacts
in
the
publishing
world.
My
second
novel,
The
Ballet
Dancer,
was
much
more
successful.
It
even
won
a
prize
for
new
novelists.
Since
then,
I’ve
written
three
more
novels
and
have
also
had
a
couple
of
collections
of
short
stories
published.
At
present,
I’m
experimenting
with
writing
a
play
—
The
List.
I
feel
I’m
learning
a
great
deal
from
this
work
