Lesson22:Special Holidays in China
一、教学目标
1.知识与技能：
学生能听懂、会说、认读并书写下列词汇：boat,moon,wonderful,学生能认读并听懂：the Dragon Boat Festival, the Mid-Autumn Festival，并且能够用英语描述两个节日。
2.情感态度：
感受中国的两个传统节日，从而产生对中国传统文化的传承和发扬。
3.学习策略：
让学生通过视觉、听觉等多种感官的参与，从而达到敢说、会说英语的目的。
学情分析本节课学生对中国的节日已经有了初步的认识，特别是对中国的传统节日——春节，认识已经很深了，但对于其它传统节日还不了解，描述会感到困难，但本课的教学内容比较贴近学生的生活,是学生比较喜欢的话题之一,所以有利于学生展开交流。
重点难点
重点：学生学会本课的单词：boat，moon，wonderful，会用英语说出中秋节和端午节。
难点：能够用英语描述自己在端午节和中秋节都了些做什么。
教学过程4.1 教学活动【导入】（一）Warming　up：（一）Warming up:
1. Greetings.
2. Revision：Talk about the Spring Festival.
Ask the students what do they do for the Spring Festival.
（设计意图：本节课从春节入手，让学生说出春节期间都做了些什么，激发学生的学习热情，也为新知的引入做铺垫。）
【讲授】（二）Presentation：　（二）Presentation:
Step 1: Show the topic and learn the new word:“holiday”.
（设计意图：出示课题，让学生初步了解本节课的内容。）
Step 2: Listen to the dialogue and answer the question：what special holidays do they talk about?
（设计意图：初步感知文本信息，通过回答问题，让学生走入本课新知。）
Step 3: Learn the two special holidays: the Dragon Boat Festival and the Mid- Autumn Festival.

（设计意图：通过播放视频，初步感知中国两个传统节日：端午节和中秋节，激发学生学习兴趣。）

（设计意图：通过学习端午节和中秋节，让学生了解到两个节日里人们的风俗习惯，在这个过程中，学生学习了语言，感受了语言运用的快乐，提高学生语言表达能力。）

Step 1: Listen to the dialogue once more and let the students read after it.
(设计意图：通过跟读对话，进一步理解文本，并且锻炼学生的口语。)
Step 2: Group work: read the dialogue in groups.
（设计意图：通过结组读对话，可以让学生进一步巩固和加深本课所学内容，在朗读中同组人员互相倾听，互相交流指正，学生的语言可以得到很大的锻炼，也可培养学生们的团结协作。）
Step 3:Show some pictures of each special holiday. Let the students talk about the three special holidays.
（设计意图：将节日整编后呈现给学生，通过这种形式练习运用课文中的语言知识，培养学生阅读能力及汲取语言信息的能力。）
