1. Greeting.
Good morning, boys and girls.
2. Let’s sing
What are you going to do ?
1. Look at the pictures. What are these holidays?
2. What do your family do on these days? People usually get together/eat a big dinner/ watch TV shows/ sing and dance…
3. There are some other special activities. These are some Chinese and foreign poems about holidays. People can read poems and tell stories about the holidays.
1. Listen to Wu Yifan’s diary and answer. What day is tomorrow? What are his family going to do?
2. Read the answer: What will his family members do?
3. How can we make mooncakes? What mooncakes do you like?
4. Do you know the story about Chang’e? Can you tell us the story?
5. Do you like Wu Yifan’s poem? It is very interesting. The six letters mean different words and they together make up the word “family”. Let’s read Wu Yifan and Robin’s poem.
1. Read the text and fill in the blanks.
2.Retell the diary according to the table.
1. What else can “FAMILY” mean? Can you think out another poem? (Father and mother , I love you.)
2. Discuss with your partner. What are you going to do for Mid-Autumn Festival? Write down your plan.
