Then draws another picture of the same boy, but in 2029.Ss compare Mr A and Xiao A.S: Mr A is stronger / taller / smarter than Xiao A. 通过简单明了的简笔画呈现本课的重点形容词词汇，并且通过长尺子短尺子，大圆小圆，再小圆中套最小圆，来引出本课新授单词的比较级， 并给出句干让学生进行比较讨论，从而使学生的语言得到充分的操练。利用一张带图的课件，直接展示了丰富的比较级词汇，让学生通过观察，找出比较词汇的变化规律：a.直接加er；b.双写尾字母加er；c. y改成i再加er。在这基础上，师抽去了词汇边上的图片，让学生直接认读形容词的原级和比较级并通过定量的练习加深学生的印象。通过增加几笔简笔画，对黑板上的画稍作修改，变出两只小猪，取名Shooby, Dooby, 有趣生动，且语言简单，让学生乐说会说。让学生各出一只手，说对的学生的手可以举在对方的手上方，如果对方说错了就可以拍他一下。如果对方说对了就可以把手从下方转移到上方来。通过这样PK的形式让学生用上句型_____is …er than _____来进行同桌操练，巩固了句型，增加了课的趣味性。给表演最投入的男生画了一张肖像作为奖品。同时又给他画了一张20年后的想像画。通过对这两张画的比较，让学生进一步运用形容词的比较级。最后，给学生布置了回家后画一画20年后的自己或同学的作业，并要用英语来说一说20年后的自己或同学与现在有什么不同。以学生身边所熟悉的同学、老师为表达素材，学生乐于表达，并升华了本课主题。
教学反思
本课的主要话题是比较级。课的一开始，就引用本课故事主题Shooby and Dooby来作为游戏的切入点，抓住学生的兴趣，再层层推进，引出本课重点单词和重点句型，然后进行有目的性的操练和巩固，让学生在学习英语中获得成就感和愉悦感。本课一亮点是通过课件和简笔画，来进行层层铺垫，运用了较少的资源，达到了较好的教学效果。但是在课堂教学节奏上，本人把握的还不够到位，难点单词heavier落实的还不够到位，在有些细节方面还是处理的不够好，仍需要改进！(共19张PPT)
