结果状语从句通常由so...
that,
such...
that,
so
that引导。其具体用法如下:
(1)在由so...
that引导的结果状语从句中,so是副词,与形容词或副词连用。其结构是“...
so+形容词/副词+that+从句”。如:
He
was
so
glad
that
he
couldn’t
say
a
word.
他如此开心以至于说不出话来。
(2)在由such...
that引导的结果状语从句中,such是形容词,它既可以修饰可数名词单数或复数,也可以修饰不可数名词。其结构是“...
such(+a/an)+形容词+名词+that+从句”。如:
He

such
long
arms
that
he
could
almost
touch
the
ceiling.
他有如此长的手臂以至于他几乎能够到天花板。
【注意】有时上述两种结构是可以互换的。如:
It

a

that

(3)如果名词前有many,
much,
little,
few等词修饰时,只能用so,不能用such。如:

②He
has
so
little
time
that
he
can’t
go
to
the
cinema
with
you.

(4)如果主从句的主语相同,并且从句是否定形式,可以用“too...
to...”结构替换。如:
He

excited
that
he
couldn’t

sleep

night.
=He
was
too
excited
to

他那晚太兴奋以至于不能入睡。
(5)如果主从句的主语相同,但从句是肯定形式,则可以用“形容词+enough”结构替换。如:

enough

他够大了,可以去上学了。
2.
让步状语从句
由though/although引导的让步状语从句。
though/although意为“虽然;纵然”。这两个连词意思大致相同,在一般情况下可以互换使用。在口语中,though较常使用,although比though正式,二者都可与yet,
still连用,但不能与but连用。如:

am
I是“so+be动词/助动词/情态动词+主语”的句型,表示前面所述的情况也适合于后面。如:

(2)“so+主语+be动词/助动词/情态动词”意为“的确如此”,表示对前面所叙述的情况加以肯定,前后两个句子的主语指同一个人。
【拓展】当前句为否定句,后句想表达“我也不……”时,可以借助neither来表达。
基本的结构是不变的:neither+be动词/助动词/情态动词+主语。如:
