Cool
Robots
We
all
know
that
the
technology
of
robots
is
developing
in
a
very
fast
speed,
and
it
is
a
very
important
part
that
has
the
ability
to
change
the
world,
so
we
have
to
discuss
robots.
On
the
one
hand,
robots
have
some
important
advantages.
First,
the
robots
can
help
people
increase
their
speeds
in
working
because
they
never
feel
tired
and
can
work
all
the
time.
And
the
robots
can
make
less
mistakes
than
people.
So
the
robots
can
also
increase
the
companies'
income.
Second,
robots
can
be
smarter
and
smarter,
and
in
the
future,
they
can
learn
from
people,
so
a
robot
can
also
be
made
to
be
a
nurse
or
a
housekeeper.
We
have
to
believe
that
in
the
future
the
robots
can
look
after
people
more
carefully
than
we
people
do,
because
they
can
study
and
can
have
a
lot
of
technologies
to
care
about
people's
health.
But
on
the
other
hand,
we
must
know
that
the
number
of
people
is
increasing
now
and
there
have
been
a
lot
of
people
losing
their
jobs.
If
we
let
robots
replace
people
to
do
some
jobs,
there
will
be
more
people
out
of
work,
so
we
must
consider
this
problem.
Besides
this
problem,
it
is
also
a
problem
that
if
robots
have
their
own
ideas,
what
should
we
people
consider
them
as.
And
will
they
refuse
people's
requests
and
have
a
war
with
us?
In
my
opinion,
we
should
develop
the
technology
of
robots,
and
use
them
to
make
our
lives
more
colorful.
Our
government
should
also
make
rules
of
making
robots
and
use
the
rules
to
avoid
some
problems.
The
most
important
thing
is
that
what
jobs
we
want
robots
to
do,
so
we
must
consider
this
problem
clearly.
I
believe
that
our
lives
can
be
better
by
the
help
of
robots
in
the
future.
Passage
2
Where
do
robots
come
from?
You
sometimes
see
robots
around
you.
Maybe
one
guides
you
through
a
museum.
Or
maybe
one
checks
your
body
temperature
in
a
hospital.
Or
maybe
one
helps
you
order
in
a
restaurant.
In
fact,
robots
came
a
long
way
to
become
what
they
are
today.
Their
story
started
100
years
ago.
1921
Writer
Karel
Capek
from
Czech(捷克)first
used
the
word
robot
in
a
play
he
wrote.
He
used
it
to
describe
artificial(人造的)humans.
In
the
play,
they
are
strong
and
do
a
lot
of
work
for
humans.
1960s
Shakey
from
the
US
was
the
first
mobile
robot.
It
was
slow
and
awkward(笨拙的).
A
computer
the
size
of
a
room
controlled
it.
Mid-1980s
Japan
started
to
develop
humanoid
robots(类人机器人).
E0
was
an
early
one.
It
could
walk
on
two
legs.
Remote-controlled(遥控的)
robots
came
out.
The
US
made
Dante,
an
eight-legged
robot,
to
help
explore
a
volcano(火山)
in
Antarctica.
Late
1990s
to
2000s
Scientists
made
other
kinds
of
robots,
including(包括)
toy
robots
and
cleaning
robots.
Robots
could
even
help
explore
space.
Today
Thanks
to
AI,
robots
are
smart.
They
can
dance,
answer
questions
and
even
communicate
with
people.
Future
Robots
can
learn
from
their
mistakes(错误)
and
become
smarter
and
better
at
doing
different
tasks.
Robots
can
free
humans,
so
humans
can
do
other
things.

Will
Robots
Replace
us?
Robots
make
our
lives
easier
and
better.
But
they
can
also
cause
trouble.
One
big
problem
is
that
we
are
losing
our
jobs
to
them!
Robot
salesmen,
robot
cooks,
robot
drivers
...
Have
you
ever
seen
them?
Will
robots
replace
all
of
us
one
day?
Robots
VS
Humans
Robots
will
do
dangerous
and
boring
jobs
for
us.
This
is
a
good
thing.
It
gives
people
more
time
to
do
more
creative
jobs.
Robots
can
be
divers(潜水员)or
climbers.
They
can
work
in
the
sea
or
high
above
the
ground.
Robots
can
be
accountants(会计).
They
can
calculate(计算)
more
quickly
than
humans.
They
don't
make
mistakes.
Robots
can
also
work
in
factories.
They
can
do
heavy
work
and
will
never
get
tired.
Three
rules
for
robots
In
1942,
a
US
writer
named
Isaac
Asimov
wrote
about
three
rules
for
robots.
He
thought
all
robots
should
follow
them.
These
rules
ensure(确保)
that
robots
will
protect
humans.
They
will
never
hurt
us
if
they
follow
these
rules.
1.
Robots
should
not
hurt
humans
or
let
others
hurt
humans.
2.
Robots
must
obey
orders
unless(除非)
the
orders
are
to
hurt
humans.
3.
Robots
must
protect
themselves.
What
do
you
think?
I
don't
think
robots
will
ever
replace
humans.
Robots
can
only
obey
orders.
They
don't
know
how
to
solve
unexpected(意外的)
problems.
For
example,
a
robot
teacher
could
give
us
lectures.
But
it
usually
repeats
what
the
textbook
says.
It
could
not
answer
our
questions
very
well.
