教学目标
教学目标:
1.正确朗读Lesson 19对话内容。
2.学习使用“Do you have...?”询问对方的身体部位是否有某一特点,进行“Yes, I do./No, I don’t.”的应答;并能够在描述自己身体部位特点的实际情景中,运用句型“I have....”和进一步运用big,small,long,short描述所学的身体部位。
3.借助歌谣复习字母u在开音节中的发音规律,尝试拼读符合发音规律的单词。
4. 能够和同学、朋友分别扮演某一小动物并谈论身体部位的特点。
教学重点:

Activity 1: Greeting
T:Good morning, boys and girls. I'm Miss Zou. Nice to see you again. Let's go on learning Unit 5 I have long arms. Dear kids, are you ready for the class? Great! Let's start.
Activity 2: Review and lead in
1. Review Lesson17 and Lesson18.
T:On Sunday, Guoguo and Kate are playing a guessing game at home. On Monday, Guoguo plays the guessing game with Lala.
2. Play a guessing game.
T: Now let's play a guessing game, too. Please guess what animals they are.
【设计意图】通过玩 “Who am I?”的猜动物游戏,学生在复习身体部位的基础上进入本课话题的学习,初步感知本课运用句型“I have....”来描述自己身体部位的特点。
Activity 1: Watch and learn the dialogues in lesson 19 for the first time
Introduce the monkey.
T: Look! There is a monkey. He lives in the forest. The monkey thinks he is the best one in the forest. Today, he meets a kangaroo and an elephant.
Question: What are they talking about?
Watch the video to find the answers.
T: They are talking about their arms.
4. Check the answers.

T: Boys and girls! Today we talked about I have long arms. In the forest, the monkey meets the kangaroo. They are talking about their arms. The monkey says, “I have long arms.Do you have long arms?” The kangaroo says, “No, I don't. I have short arms.” And we know the monkey has long arms, a small body and hands. He can do many things with them.
【设计意图】在跟读录音过程中,引导学生练习句型,读准发音;通过分角色朗读,帮助学生记忆功能句型;通过小黑板总结本课功能句型,帮助学生做阶段性小结。
Activity 1: Use the language in new settings.
Make a new scene: It's the sports day in the forest. Many animals join the games, so does the monkey.
2.Get to know what other animals look like and get familiar with the key structure again.
T: What does the monkey, the giraffe, the kangaroo, the elephant look like? What can they do?
Activity 2: Check the language.
1.Make a new scene: The monkey and the hippo help a little bird.
2. Guide students answer the questions: How do they help the little bird?
T: After crossing the river, they want to send the bird back to the nest. The hippo says, “I have strong legs. But I don't have hands.” The monkey says, “ I have hands. Let me help her.”

Activity 2: Learn the sound /ju: /
1. Get to know the pronunciation of letter u.
T: Kids, do you know the sound of letter u in these words? Yes, it is pronounced /ju:/. Please look at my mouth, /ju:/, /ju:/.
2. Practice to read the words with letter u.
