An accident report
We got a call that an accident happened round a corner on Centre Street. We got there quickly. A young woman was lying on the ground and looked pale. We were glad that she wasn’t badly hurt. We sent her to the hospital in time.
How did the accident happen? Two women were riding bikes quickly side by side along the street when there appeared a truck(卡车). They wanted to avoid(避免) the risk of hitting the truck and turned to the other side of the road. One of the woman, Miss Yang, fell off her bike...
Safety is first. Everyone should pay attention to it and keep safe.

The car stopped just in time, but the boy fell off his bike and hurt
his knee.

So when you’re on your bike, think about the risk of an accident!

Dear Nancy，
I’m sorry to tell you what happened to me yesterday evening. I was cooking in the kitchen as usual. I was taking out some vegetables from a bag near the fridge when a big mouse ran out and bit one of my fingers. I was afraid and threw some vegetables to the mouse. It climbed up the fridge and hid somewhere. I was in great pain. I had to go to the hospital. On the way, the pain got worse. At the hospital, the doctor first checked me carefully and got my finger washed. Then the doctor put some medicine on my finger and bandaged(用绷带包扎) it. Then I went home. Don’t worry. I’m getting better now.
Accidents may happen anywhere and anytime. So all of us must be careful!
