【学习内容分析】
本节课的教学内容为四年级英语上册外研版(一起):Module 2 Unit2 Amy painted a picture.
在Module2Unit1中我们学习了Daming昨天在家的活动,学生们已初步接触了一般过去时态的表达方法。这节课我们将以Amy一家昨天的活动为主题,围绕他们一家的活动,继续学习和巩固一般过去时态的表达方法。
【学生学情分析】
四年级上册的学生刚刚从三年级上来,对他们来说知识跨度有点大。而行为动词的一般过去时态是孩子们第一次接触,他们对这种动词表达形式既陌生又充满好奇。老师应充分抓住学生的这一特点,通过动作、表演、游戏等方式,让学生理解动词的一般过去时态的表达形式以及使用这种时态的时间标志。
【教学策略】
本节课学生通过游戏、动作、表演等学习策略,在老师提供的语言环境和多媒体课件的提示下,引导学生积极思考并通过多次运用一般过去时态描述过去发生的动作来体验、巩固所学的英语知识。让学生充分发挥想象力,能熟练地把过去所学的单词、句子运用到一般过去时态中,从而达到培养学生初步运用语言的能力。
【教学目标】
(一)语言知识目标:
1.进一步理解和掌握一般过去时的用法和意义。
2.能够正确地朗读规则动词过去式-ed的读音 / t / / d / / Id/。
3.能听懂、认读单词:paint, watch, phone, cook, help.
4. 能正确听、说、 读下列句子:
Yesterday, Mr Smart cooked noodles.
Tom helped his dad.
Ms Smart phoned Grandma.
Sam watched TV.
Amy painted a picture.
5.能借助图片听懂、读懂课文,理解语篇内容。
(二)语言技能目标:
能使用一般过去时态来表述自己和他人在过去时间曾经做过的事情。
(三)学习策略:
1.通过图片、动作帮助学生记忆和理解我们已经学过的动词短语。
2.在语言学习过程中,引导学生采用观察、归纳等方法学习语言。
(四)情感态度:
1、乐于与同学分享自己和家人过去的活动。
2、引导学生学会关爱父母,养成自己的事情自己做,家里的事情帮助做的好习惯。
(五)任务:
我们学习了Amy一家过去做过的事,现在请同学们说说自己和家人在昨天或上周做过的事。
【教学重点】
让学生学会用规则动词的过去形式对过去发生的一系列动作进行描述。
【教学难点】
掌握规则动词过去式的变化方法以及动词加-ed的不同发音, 进一步理解和掌握一般过去时态所表示的意义。

【 教学过程】
Step One: Warming up
Greetings
Let’s chant. (PPT课件出示自编chant内容。)
Step Two: Revision.
1.Revise the sentences in part2 Module2,Unit1(使用CD-ROM)
2. Compare and say.(PPT课件出示一定数量的动词词并强调规则动词过去形式:v+ed及其它们的读音。)
(1) Change the verbs into the past simple tense forms.
(2) Help pupilspay attention to the pronunciation of ‘ed’.
(3) Drill the verbs and their past simple tense forms.(PPT课件)
Step Three: Presentation
We have learnt what Daming did yesterday. Now we are going to learn :
Amy painted a picture. We want to know:
What did the Smarts do yesterday?
Watch the CD-ROM and try to find “-ed”.
3 .Watch the CD-ROM again and ask pupils to follow it .
4 .Show pupils the pictures one by one with the sentences in which the verbs are deleted. Ask them to fill in the blanks. Then copy the main verbs on the board.
1).Yesterday, Mr Smart ____________noodles. Tom _______him.

3).Sam ___________TV yesterday.
4).Amy _______________a picture yesterday.
5.Comprehension: Check it one by one by asking “Who cooked noodles?...” Copy the subjects on the board and help pupils to find the objects of each sentences. Stick the cards on the board.

2. Ask and answer :What did he /she do yesterday?(PPT课件出示一组图片)
Step Five Let’s learn the chant.
1 .Play the CD-ROM . Ask pupils to listen and watch carefully.
2.Pupils say and act out sentence for sentence.(Follow the CD-ROM)
3.Pupils stand up and say the chant with the action.
4.Ask some pupils to act it out in front of the classroom.

Step seven: Summary
让孩子们自己归纳一般过去时态的基本用法:
1.动作必须发生在过去,时间标志如:yesterday(昨天),last Sunday(上个星期天)等等。
2.规则动词的标志:v-ed,ve-d
3.遇有不规则动词则需加强记忆:如:is/am -----was are - --were 等等
