教材分析
本节课是一年级起点四年级上Module 5 Unit 1的一节新授课。本课主要以对话形式了解游览长城的学校旅游。本课的语言功能是运用一般过去时描述过去发生的事情。语用目标是谈论描述参观游览的经历。学习任务为:着重学习动词过去时的不规则变化,并能够在情境中描述过去所发生的事情。
学情分析
本节课的教学对象是四年级的学生,四年级学生的英语学习正处在一个承上启下的关键阶段。大部分孩子对英语学习的兴趣比较浓厚,良好的学习习惯也逐渐形成,但部分学生的基础知识还有待加强,运用所学知识解决实际问题的能力较弱。因此,在课堂中通过创设情境,吸引学生的注意力;通过情境体验学习新的词汇;通过建构语言输出支架,训练学生的听说能力。
三、教学目标
1.语言技能
(1)听:全体同学能听懂:We went to the Great Wall.I saw lots of mountains We ate candies. We saw some beautiful plants. We bought you a present.
(2)说: 全体同学能说:We went to the Great Wall.I saw lots of mountains We ate candies. We saw some beautiful plants. We bought you a present.
读:全体同学能认读:went, saw, took, ate, had, have a good time, bought,;
部分同学能认读:trip, fifty, minute, top, mountain, candies, plant, go on a trip.
(4)写:全体同学能写出went, saw, ate, bought等词相关的语句。
2.语言知识
(1)功能:全体同学能运用:We went to the Great Wall,并运用动词过去式描述过去发生的事。
(2)语法:全体同学能运用:We went to the Great Wall.I saw lots of mountains We ate candies. We saw some beautiful plants. We bought you a present.
(3)词汇:全体同学能理解:went, saw, trip, took, fifty, minute, top, mountain, ate, candies, plant, had, have a good time, bought.
全体同学能运用:went, saw, took, ate, had, have a good time, bought.
部分同学能运用:trip,saw, took, ate, had, have a good time, bought.
(4)语音:进一步巩固一般过去时陈述句的语音语调。
3. 情感态度:敢于尽可能多的使用过去时进行交流,描述自己的过往。
4. 学习策略:尝试运用所学过的动词过去式,描述过去发生的事情,培养 自我表达能力,并在头脑中形成自我表达能力的语言框架。
5. 文化意识:中国了解中西方学校履行,进一步注意到中西方文化的异同。
四、教学重、难点
1. 重点:掌握不规则的动词的过去式以及功能句“We went to the Great Wall.”
2. 难点:能描述过去的一次学校旅行。

六、教学过程
(一)复习导入Warm-up and lead-in( 5分钟)/ Revision and lead -in
操作方式:
1.Greeting.
2.Sing a song.
T:This song is beautiful. Do you like it? They had a lovely day. I had a lovely day on National Day. I went to Beijing. How about you? What did you do on National Day?
Ss:I played/cleaned/went to....
T:I went to the Great Wall? Daming and Sam went to the Great Wall, too. Do you like it?
Ss:Yes!
T:Today, let’s learn Module 5 Unit 1, we went to the Great Wall.
【设计意图】通过歌曲引出本课话题,引起学生对话题的兴趣,并感知标题句的含义,初步接触到went to...所涉及到的动词过去式。
(二)任务呈现Task presentation( 2分钟)
操作方式:
T:We had a school trip in autumn or summer. (呈现图片讲授trip)Do you remember? We’ll learn Daming and Sam’s school trip. After that, let’s recall your memorable school trip.
【设计意图】激发学生学习的兴趣,顺利交代本课的任务,回忆一次难忘的校园旅行。
(三)课文学习Text learning( 11分钟)
操作方式:
Watch and answer
T:Yesterday was Daming and Sam’s school trip. Where did Daming and Sam go yesterday? (学生观看动画)
Ss:They went to the Great Wall.
【设计意图】通过观看动画对整篇课文进行初步感知,理解课文大意,为以后的学习做好铺垫。
Listen, read and answer
T:They went to the Great Wall. They did lots of things. Firstly, what did they do? And how many minutes?(学生跟读课文)
Ss:They climbed to the top.(出示图片讲解top)
Fifty minutes.
T:(讲解:It take sb sometime to do....句型,并进行操练,其中讲解mountain)
【设计意图】听音跟读回答问题,有助于学生对课文细节的理解,处理本节课中的一个较为复杂的知识点,在情境中练习,可以训练学生的听说能力。
Read and say
T:Look! This is an English mountain. Do you want to climb the mountain? Let’s read the text again. And climb.(教师设置问题,学生回答)
Q:What did they see? Ss:They saw mountains and plants.
What did they eat? Ss:They ate candies.
What did they buy? Ss:They bought a present.
(Learn irregular verbs in past tense and regular verbs in past tense; See-saw game)
【设计意图】再次阅读课文,强化对重点单词和语句的练习与使用,通过观察与思考,发现不规则变化的动词过去式形式,在回忆旧知的基础上与新知进行对比,总结出动词过去式的变化规律以此突破本课重点。
(四)训练巩固 Practice( 10分钟)
操作方式:
Choose and read
T:After learning, let’s check your memory.You can choose the colour you like and read the sentence.(学生选颜色,进行重点语句的操练)
【设计意图】强化重点单词和词语的认读,纠正发音。对一些学生上有困难的学生是一次再学习,并加深记忆的过程,方便学生查缺补漏。通过及时的反馈,了解学生对课文的掌握程度,便于展开以下的活动。
Retell the text
T:Now, can you tell the story? Discuss in your groups and retell the text.
(学生小组讨论,小组汇报,教师评价)
【设计意图】通过对课文的再次加工,训练课文中重点句子的使用。在图文的帮助下,可以完成的复述,提高学生的语言输出能力。
Look and say
T:I had a good trip last summer. Let’s see. And there are so many pictures of our classmates in their trips. Can you guess them?
(T出示同学们在旅行中的图片,Ss猜图片的内容)
【设计意图】通过生活中真实的图片,引起学生的兴趣,运用本节课中的重点词、语句表达完整的意思,最终完成语言的输出。
(五)任务完成 Task completion( 5分钟)
操作方式:
T:Do you these pictures? Can you recall your school trip? Discuss in your groups. And you can do just like this.

【设计意图】通过所提示的框架进行任务完成,较好的将所学的新知与旧知相结合进行综合运用。让学生在较为真实的情境中体验新知,大胆表达,从而达到学以致用的学习效果。
(六)小结与布置作业 Summary and homework( 2 分钟)
操作方式:
1.Summary
T: What have you learnt in this class? Who can say?
Ss: Irregular verbs in past tens.
2.Homework
Listen to the tape and read the text.
Talk about your trip with your friends and finish the diary.
