There
is
an
old
saying
that
America
and
Britain
are
“two
nations
divided
by
a
common
language”.
No
one
knows
exactly
who
said
this,
but
it
reflects
the
way
many
Brits
feel
about
American
English.
But
are
American
and
British
English
really
so
different?
Vocabulary
The
most
obvious
difference
between
American
and
British
English
is
vocabulary.
There
are
hundreds
of
everyday
words
that
are
different.
For
example,
Americans
go
on
vacation
while
Brits
go
on
holiday;
New
Yorkers
live
in
apartments
while
Londoners
live
in
flats.
There
are
far
more
examples
than
we
can
talk
about
here.
Fortunately,
most
Americans
and
Brits
can
usually
guess
the
meaning
through
the
context
of
a
sentence.
Past
Tense
Verbs
You’ll
also
find
some
differences
with
past
forms
of
irregular
verbs.
The
past
tense
of
“learn”
in
American
English
is
“learned”.
British
English
has
the
options(选择)
of
“learned”
or
“learnt”.
The
same
rule
applies
to
“dreamed”
and
“dreamt”,
“burned”
and
“burnt”,
and
“leaned”
and
“leant”.
Americans
tend
to
use
the
-ed
ending;
Brits
tend
to
use
the
-t
ending.
Spelling
There
are
hundreds
of
slight
spelling
differences
between
British
and
American
English.
Noah
Webster,
an
author,
politician
and
teacher,
made
an
effort
to
reform
English
spelling
in
the
late
1700s.
Webster
wanted
to
spell
words
the
way
they
sounded.
You
can
see
Webster’s
legacy(遗产)
in
the
American
spelling
of
words
like
color
(from
colour),
honor
(from
honour),
and
labor
(from
labour).
Not
So
Different
After
All
British
and
American
English
have
far
more
similarities
than
differences.
With
the
exception
of
some
regional
dialects,
most
Brits
and
Americans
can
understand
each
other
without
too
much
difficulty.
They
watch
each
other’s
TV
shows,
sing
each
other’s
songs
and
read
each
other’s
books.
They
even
make
fun
of
each
others’
accents.
21.
Which
of
the
following
is
a
group
of
American
words?
A.
Vacation;
holiday.
B.
Apartment;
flat.
C.
Vacation;
apartment.
D.
Holiday;
flat.
22.
What
do
we
know
about
British
and
American
English
from
the
last
paragraph?
A.
They
both
have
some
strange
words.
B.
They
are
affecting
people
using
them.
C.
They
connect
people
of
the
two
countries.
D.
Their
differences
have
little
effect
on
communication.
23.
What
can
be
the
best

A.
Ways

British
English

B.

C.
Development
of
British
and
American
English
D.
Difficulty
for
Brits
and
Americans
to
understand
each
other
B
There
are
many
idioms
in
English.
An
idiom
is
a
phrase
that
we
can’t
understand
from
the
meaning
of
each
word.
The
following
are
some
of
them.
As
the
crow
flies
When
a
bird
flies
from
place
to
place,
it
takes
the
most
direct
route.
But
when
people
drive,
they
have
to
follow
roads
and
often
go
farther.
When
people
give
a
distance
“as
the
crow
flies”,
they
mean
the
shortest
distance
between
the
two
points,
not
the
distance
you
would
have
to
travel
by
following
roads.
As
Dan
and
his
mum
drove
along
the
river,
they
could
see
the
beach
on
the
opposite
side,
Dan
asked
“How
far
is
it
to
the
beach?”
“It’s
only
about
a
quarter
of
a
mile
as
the
crow
flies”
his
mother
said.
Blow
hot
and
cold
In
one
of
Aesop’s
Fables,
a
man
blow
on
his
fingers
to
warm
them
up
and
then
blow
on
his
soup
to
cool
it
down.
In
both
cases,
the
man
is
opening
his
mouth,
but
what
comes
out
is
different.
If
a
person
says
one
thing
and
later
says
the
opposite,
we
say
that
the
person
is
blowing
hot
and
cold.
“Is
Felicia
going
to
try
out
for
the
soccer
team
this
year?”
Stacy
asked.
“I
don’t
know,
”
Tricia
replied.
“Last
week
she
was
saying
yes,
but
this
week
she’s
saying
no.
She’s
really
blowing
hot
and
cold.
”
Break
the
ice
Nowadays
people
use
the
phrase
to
refer
to
ending
an
awkward
silence
by
beginning
a
conversation.
It
was
the
first
day
of
summer
camp.
The
four
girls
began
to
make
their
beds
in
silence.
None
of
the
girls
knew
each
other,
and
no
one
knew
what
to
say.
Finally,
one
of
them
broke
the
ice
by
saying
“Hey,
where’s
everybody
from?”
Bury
the
hatchet
In
native
American
culture,
when
two
nations
agreed
to
end
their
war,
they
buried
the
hatchet.
So
to
bury
the
hatchet
is
to
make
peace
with
someone
else.
Colin
could
not
excuse
his
sister
for
breaking
his
tennis
racket.
Finally,
his
sister
said,
“Colin,
can’t
we
bury
the
hatchet?”
24.
What
does
“as
the
crow
flies”
mean?
A
In
the
smoothest
way.
B.
By
plane.
C.
In
a
straight
line.
D.
At
top
speed.
25.
“Blow
hot
and
cold”
can
be
used
to
talk
about
someone’s
______.
?
A.
poor
health
B.
bad
manner
C.
communication
skills
D.
changing
attitudes
26.
When
the
four
girls
were
making
their
beds
in
silence,
they
probably
felt
______.
?
A.
shy
B.
disappointed
C.
excited
D.
curious
27.
It
can
be
inferred
that
Colin’s
sister
hoped
that
Colin
would
______.
?
A.
buy
a
new
tennis
racket
B.
forgive
her
mistake
C.
stay
away
from
her
D.
make
an
apology
to
her

What
makes
a
family?
How
do
family
members
get
along
with
each
other?
Japanese
director
Hirokazu
Koreeda
tries
to
answer
these
questions
in
his
films.
His
latest
film,
Shoplifters,
is
about
his
favourite
topic-family
relations.
With
this
film,
Koreeda
won
this
year’s
Palme
d’Or
(金棕榈奖),
the
Cannes
Film
Festival’s
top
honor.
Shoplifters
tells
the
story
of
a
poor
family
living
in
Tokyo.
Three
generations
living
under
the
same
roof
survive
by
stealing
from
local
shops.
Obviously,
what
they
are
doing
is
wrong.
But
the
director
focuses
more
on
the
heartwarming
details
of
the
family’s
daily
life,
according
to
The
Playist.
Koreeda
shows
how
the
family
members
love
and
support
each
other.
For
example,
the
family
plans
a
beach
trip
for
the
youngest
sister.
They
carefully
pick
out
swimwear
for
the
girl.
At
the
beach,
they
play
happily.
The
girl
draws
a
picture
to
help
her
remember
their
time
together.
This
causes
viewers
to
forget
about
their
moral
judgments.
This
is
another
feature
of
Koreeda’s
filming
style.
He
is
good
at
presenting
ordinary
life.
It’s
slow
and
full
of
small
details-sometimes
it’s
even
boring.
But
there
is
tension(冲突)
present
as
well.
In
Shoplifters,
the
surprise
is
that
the
family
members
don’t
actually
have
blood
ties
to
each
other,
but
they
are
still
closer
than
a
real
family.
They
all
have
their
own
stories.
In
Japan
and
most
other
Asian
countries,
blood
ties
are
what
defines
(定义)
family.
But
Koreeda
questions
that
by
looking
at
different
kinds
of
relations.
28.
How
does
the
family
in
the
Shoplifters
make
a
living?
A.
By
drawing
pictures.
B.
By
working
in
local
shops.
C.
By
begging
from
neighbors.
D.
By
stealing
from
the
local
stores.
29.
Whom
does
the
family
plan
a
beach
trip
for?
A.
the
director
B.
the
viewers
C.
the
shoplifter
D.
the
youngest
sister
30.
What
does
Koreeda
want
to
show
us
in
the
movie?
A.
The
meaning
of
a
family.
B.
How
to
get
long
with
a
Japanese
families.
C.
The
ordinary
life
in
a
Japanese
family.
D.
The
different
relationship
in
a
poor
family.
31.
This
passage
is
mainly
about
______.
?
A.
family
relations
B.
a
film
directed
by
Koreeda
C.
a

D.

D
People
often
ask
which
is
the
most
difficult
language
to
learn,
and
it
is
not
easy
to
answer
because
there
are
too
many
factors
to
take
into
consideration.
Firstly,
in
a
first
language
the
difficulties
are
unimportant
as
people
learn
their
mother
tongue
naturally,
so
the
question
of
how
hard
a
language
is
to
learn
only
makes
more
sense
when
learning
a
second
language.
A
native
speaker
of
Spanish,
for
example,
will
find
Portuguese
much
easier
to
learn
than
a
native
speaker
of
Chinese
because
Portuguese
is
very
similar
to
Spanish,
while
Chinese
is
very
different,
so
first
language
can
affect
learning
a
second
language.
The
greater
the
differences
between
the
second
language
and
our
first
language,
the
harder
it
will
be
for
most
people
to
learn.
Many
people
answer
that
Chinese
is
the
hardest
language
to
learn,
possibly
influenced
by
the
thought
of
learning
the
Chinese
writing
system,
and
the
pronunciation
of
Chinese
does
appear
to
be
very
difficult
for
many
foreign
learners.
However,
for
Japanese
speakers,
who
already
use
Chinese
characters
in
their
own
language,
learning
writing
will
be
less
difficult
than
for
speakers
of
languages
using
the
Roman
alphabet.
Some
people
seem
to
learn
languages
easily,
while
others
find
it
very
difficult.
Teachers
and
the
circumstances
in
which
the
language
is
learned
also
play
an
important
role,
as
well
as
each
learner’s
motivation
for
learning.
If
people
learn
a
language
because
they
need
to
use
it
professionally,
they
often
learn
it
faster
than
people
studying
a
language
that
has
no
direct
use
in
their
day
to
day
life.
Obviously,
British
diplomats
and
other
embassy
staff
have
found
that
the
second
hardest
language
is
Japanese,
which
will
probably
come
as
no
surprise
to
many,
but
the
language
that
they
have
found
to
be
the
most
problematic
is
Hungarian,
which
uses
a
similar
alphabet
to
English
but
has
35
cases
(forms
of
a
nouns
according
to
whether
it
is
subject,
object,
genitive,
etc).
This
does
not
mean
that
Hungarian
is
the
hardest
language
to
learn
for
everyone,
but
it
causes
British
diplomatic
personnel,
who
are
generally
used
to
learning
languages,
the
most
difficulty.
However,
Tabassaran,
a
Caucasian
language
has
48
cases,
so
it
might
cause
more
difficulty
if
British
diplomats
had
to
learn
it.
Different
cultures
and
individuals
from
those
cultures
will
find
different
languages
more
difficult.
Therefore,
it
is
impossible
to
say
that
there
is
one
language
that
is
the
most
difficult
language
in
the
world.
32.
What
can
we
infer
from
the
first
paragraph?
A.
The
question
of
how
hard
a
language
is
to
learn
is
only
applicable
to
first
language
acquisition.
B.
The
question
of
how
hard
a
language
is
to
learn
is
only
applicable
to
second
language
acquisition.
C.
The
question
of
how
hard
a
language
is
to
learn
is
applicable
to
both
first
and
second
language
acquisition.
D.
There
are
too
many
languages
in
the
world
so
it’s
difficult
to
say
which
one
is
the
most
difficult
to
learn.
33.
Which
language
will
a
native
Portuguese
speaker
probably
find
easier
to
learn?
A.
Chinese,
because
Portuguese
use
Chinese
characters
in
their
own
language
.
B.
Japanese,
because
it
is
similar
to
their
own
language.
C.
Spanish,
because
it
also
uses
Roman
alphabet.
D.
Anyone
but
Chinese,
because
its
pronunciation
is
very
difficult.
34.
What
does
the

A.

After
entering
high
school,
you
must
wonder
how
to
study
well.
Here
are
some
good
skills
for
you.
Go
to
class
If
you
want
to
do
well
at
school,
going
to
class
is
the
first
step
in
studying
well.
If
you
miss
classes,
you
will
miss
what
the
teacher
thinks
is
important;
as
a
result,
you’ll
miss
what
is
the
most
likely
to
end
up
on
the
test.

Take
good
notes
Try
not
to
write
everything
down.
37
Write
down
unfamiliar
terms.
After
class,
review
your
notes
as
soon
as
possible.
You
can
fill
in
details
that
you
missed
and
review
the
material
while
it
is
still
fresh
on
your
mind.
?
38 ?
If
you
are
struggling
in
class,
talk
to
your
teacher.
He
or
she
may
be
able
to
give
you
more
help
or
tutor
you
before
or
after
class.

little
sympathy

for
students
who
just
become
worried
about
failing
during
the
last

weeks
of
the

Take
part
in
class
discussions
In
order
to
learn
more
in

it
is
helpful
to
take
part
in
class
discussions.
Asking
questions
and
having
eye

with
your
teachers
and
classmates
can
increase
your

B.
Talk
to
your

if
you

go
to

E.
Get

you

第三部分 语言运用
(共两节,
满分30分)
第一节(共15小题;每小题1分,
满分15分)
阅读下面短文,
从每题所给的A、B、C、D
四个选项中选出可以填入空白处的最佳选项。
If
you
want
to
learn
a
new
language,
the
very
first
thing
to
think
about
is
why.
Do
you
need
it
for
a
41
reason,
such
as
your
job
or
your
studies?
Or
perhaps
you’re
interested
in
the
literature,
films
or
music
of
a(n)
42
country
and
you
know
how
much
it
will
help
to
have
a
43
of
the
language.
?
Most
people
learn
best
using
a
variety
of
methods,
but
traditional
classes
are
44
ideal(理想的)start
for
many
people.
They
provide
an
environment
where
you
can
practice
45
the
guidance
of
someone
who’s
good
at
the
language.
We
all
lead
busy
lives
and
learning
a
language
takes

will

if
you

will
take
years,

learning
to
get
by
takes
48 .
?
Many
people
start
learning
a
language
and
soon
give
up.
“I’m
too 49 ,

say.
Yes,
children
do
learn
languages
more
50
than
adults,
but
research
has
shown
that
you
can
learn
a
language
at
any
51 .
And
learning
is
good
for
the
health
of
your
brain,
too.
I’ve
also
heard
people
worry
about
the
mistakes
they
make
when
52 .
Well,
relax
and
laugh
about
your
mistakes
53
you’re
much
less
likely
to
make
them
again.
?
Learning
a
new
language
is
never
54 .
But
with
some
work
and
devotion,
you’ll
make
progress.
And
you
will
be
55 by
the
positive
reaction
of
some
people
when
you
say
just
a

words
in
their
own
language.

The
hidden
treasure
Once,
there
was
an
old
man
who
had
four
sons.
All
of
them
were
very
lazy.
One
day,
the
old
man
fell
sick
and
was
counting
his
last
days
in
bed.
He
worried
a
lot
about
his
sons
future
as
the
young
men
hesitated
a
lot
to
work.
The
sons
believed
that
luck
would
favour
them.
The
old
man’s
health
deteriorated(恶化)every
day
and
he
decided
to
talk
to
his
sons
about
their
future.
However,
his
sons
did
not
listen
to
him.
Finally,
the
old
man
decided
to
play
a
trick
to
let
his
sons
realize
the
importance
of
work.
He
called
all
his
sons
and
let
them
sit
near
him
on
his
bed.
He
said
that
he
had
a
treasure
box
with
gold
coins
and
expensive
gems(宝石)for
them
and
wanted
to
share
the
treasure
equally
among
the
four
of
them.
The
young
men
were
very
happy
and
asked
where
their
father
had
placed
the
treasure.
The
old
man
replied,
“I
cannot
exactly
remember
the
place
where
I
have
hidden
the
treasure.
However,
the
treasure
box
is
buried
in
our
land.
I’m
really
not
sure
about
the
place
where
I
have
hidden
the
treasure
box.
”
Even
though
the
lazy
young
sons
were
happy,
they
were
sad
that
the
old
man
had
forgotten
the
place
where
the
treasure
was
hidden.
After
a
few
days,
the
old
man
died.
The
sons
decided
to
dig
the
land
to
find
the
treasure
box.
They
worked
very
hard
and
dug
their
land.
They
could
not
find
any
treasure
box
in
the
land.
Finally,
they
decided
to
dig
a
spot
in
their
land
that
was
a
bit
different
from
the
rest
of
the
area.
The
sons
believed
that
the
treasure
was
buried
in
that
spot.
They
dug
the
specific
spot
deeply,
but
got
nothing
but
water.
A
passer-by
who
noticed
the
land
and
the
water
flowing.
from
the
spot
talked
to
the
sons
about
farming.

they
all
realized
what
their
father
meant.

__________________________________________________________________
Then
they
all
realized
what
their
father
meant.
It
was
hard
work
that
was
referred
to
as“treasure
box”by
their
father.
Gradually,
the
four
sons
overcame
their
laziness,
worked
hard,
earned
more
money
and
lived
happily.
They
thought
that
only
through
hard

could
they

Generation
gap
has
always
been
a
heated
topic
in
our
society.
Why
is
there
such
a
generation
gap
now?
One
important
cause
of
the
generation
gap
is
the
opportunity
that
young
people
have
to
choose
their
own
ways
of
life.
In
a
more
traditional
society,
when
children
grow
upthey
are
expected
to
live
in
the
same
area
as
their
parents,
to
marry
people
that
their
parents
know
and
like,
and
often
to
do
the
same
work
as
the
parents
or
continue
the
family
business.
In
our
society,
young
people
often
travel
great
distances
for
their
education,
move
out
of
the
family
at
an
early
age,
marry
or
live
with
people
whom
their
parents
have
never
met,
and
choose
jobs
different
from
those
of
their
parents.
What’s
more,
in
our
society,
parents
often
expect
their
children
to
do
better
than
they
did:
to
find
better
jobs,
make
more
money,
and
to
do
all
the
things
they
are
unable
to
do.
In
the
end
they
often
discover
they
have
very
little
in
commonFinally,
the
speed
at
which
change
is
taking
place
in
our
society
is
another
cause
of
the
generation
gap.
In
a
traditional
culture,
older
people
are
valued
for
their
knowledge,
but
in
our
society
the
knowledge
of
a
lifetime
often
goes
out
of
date.
The
young
and
the
old
seem
to
live
in
very
different
worlds,
and
are
separated
by
their
different
skills
and
abilities.
17.
How
many
causes
of
the
generation
gap
are
discussed
in
the
conversation?
A.
One.
B.
Two.
C.
Three.
答案:
C
18.
What
do
parents
expect
young
people
to
do
in
the
more
traditional
society?
A.
Live
far
away
from
them.
B.
Choose
their
own
lifestyles.
C.
Live
in
the
same
area
as
them.
答案:
C
19.
What
are
the
young
people
expected
to
do
in
modern
society?
A.
Find
jobs
different
from
those
of
their
parents.
B.
Continue
the
family
business.
C.
Do
whatever
their
parents
expect
to.
答案:
A
20.
What
can
we
infer
from
the
passage?
A.
Young
people
are
often
educated
in
the
cities
where
they
grew
up.
B.
The
young
and
the
old
have
different
opinions
and
abilities.
C.
Parents
and

are
likely
to
have
a
lot
in
common.

There
is
an
old
saying
that
America
and
Britain
are
“two
nations
divided
by
a
common
language”.
No
one
knows
exactly
who
said
this,
but
it
reflects
the
way
many
Brits
feel
about
American
English.
But
are
American
and
British
English
really
so
different?
Vocabulary
The
most
obvious
difference
between
American
and
British
English
is
vocabulary.
There
are
hundreds
of
everyday
words
that
are
different.
For
example,
Americans
go
on
vacation
while
Brits
go
on
holiday;
New
Yorkers
live
in
apartments
while
Londoners
live
in
flats.
There
are
far
more
examples
than
we
can
talk
about
here.
Fortunately,
most
Americans
and
Brits
can
usually
guess
the
meaning
through
the
context
of
a
sentence.
Past
Tense
Verbs
You’ll
also
find
some
differences
with
past
forms
of
irregular
verbs.
The
past
tense
of
“learn”
in
American
English
is
“learned”.
British
English
has
the
options(选择)
of
“learned”
or
“learnt”.
The
same
rule
applies
to
“dreamed”
and
“dreamt”,
“burned”
and
“burnt”,
and
“leaned”
and
“leant”.
Americans
tend
to
use
the
-ed
ending;
Brits
tend
to
use
the
-t
ending.
Spelling
There
are
hundreds
of
slight
spelling
differences
between
British
and
American
English.
Noah
Webster,
an
author,
politician
and
teacher,
made
an
effort
to
reform
English
spelling
in
the
late
1700s.
Webster
wanted
to
spell
words
the
way
they
sounded.
You
can
see
Webster’s
legacy(遗产)
in
the
American
spelling
of
words
like
color
(from
colour),
honor
(from
honour),
and
labor
(from
labour).
Not
So
Different
After
All
British
and
American
English
have
far
more
similarities
than
differences.
With
the
exception
of
some
regional
dialects,
most
Brits
and
Americans
can
understand
each
other
without
too
much
difficulty.
They
watch
each
other’s
TV
shows,
sing
each
other’s
songs
and
read
each
other’s
books.
They
even
make
fun
of
each
others’
accents.

”
可知vacation和apartment都是美国人用的词汇,
故选C。

答:选B。主旨大意题。根据文章第一段“But
are
American
and
British
English
really
so
different?(但是美式英语和英式英语真的有那么大的不同吗?)”以及下文从词汇、动词的过去式和拼写三方面说明了它们之间的不同可知,
文章的主题就是介绍美式英语和英式英语的不同。故选B。
B
There
are
many
idioms
in
English.
An
idiom
is
a
phrase
that
we
can’t
understand
from
the
meaning
of
each
word.
The
following
are
some
of
them.
As
the
crow
flies
When
a
bird
flies
from
place
to
place,
it
takes
the
most
direct
route.
But
when
people
drive,
they
have
to
follow
roads
and
often
go
farther.
When
people
give
a
distance
“as
the
crow
flies”,
they
mean
the
shortest
distance
between
the
two
points,
not
the
distance
you
would
have
to
travel
by
following
roads.
As
Dan
and
his
mum
drove
along
the
river,
they
could
see
the
beach
on
the
opposite
side,
Dan
asked
“How
far
is
it
to
the
beach?”
“It’s
only
about
a
quarter
of
a
mile
as
the
crow
flies”
his
mother
said.
Blow
hot
and
cold
In
one
of
Aesop’s
Fables,
a
man
blow
on
his
fingers
to
warm
them
up
and
then
blow
on
his
soup
to
cool
it
down.
In
both
cases,
the
man
is
opening
his
mouth,
but
what
comes
out
is
different.
If
a
person
says
one
thing
and
later
says
the
opposite,
we
say
that
the
person
is
blowing
hot
and
cold.
“Is
Felicia
going
to
try
out
for
the
soccer
team
this
year?”
Stacy
asked.
“I
don’t
know,
”
Tricia
replied.
“Last
week
she
was
saying
yes,
but
this
week
she’s
saying
no.
She’s
really
blowing
hot
and
cold.
”
Break
the
ice
Nowadays
people
use
the
phrase
to
refer
to
ending
an
awkward
silence
by
beginning
a
conversation.
It
was
the
first
day
of
summer
camp.
The
four
girls
began
to
make
their
beds
in
silence.
None
of
the
girls
knew
each
other,
and
no
one
knew
what
to
say.
Finally,
one
of
them
broke
the
ice
by
saying
“Hey,
where’s
everybody
from?”
Bury
the
hatchet
In
native
American
culture,
when
two
nations
agreed
to
end
their
war,
they
buried
the
hatchet.
So
to
bury
the
hatchet
is
to
make
peace
with
someone
else.
Colin
could
not
excuse
his
sister
for
breaking
his
tennis
racket.
Finally,
his
sister
said,
“Colin,
can’t
we
bury
the
hatchet?”
语篇概述:本文是一篇说明文。文章介绍了四个英语习语的意思与用法实例。
24.
What
does
“as
the
crow
flies”
mean?
A
In
the
smoothest
way.
B.
By
plane.
C.
In
a
straight
line.
D.
At
top
speed.
答:选C。词义猜测题。根据第二段可知“像乌鸦那样飞”指的是两点之间的最短距离,
也就是说是直线飞行。
25.
“Blow
hot
and
cold”
can
be
used
to
talk
about
someone’s
______.
?
A.
poor
health
B.
bad
manner
C.
communication
skills
D.
changing
attitudes
答:选D。细节理解题。根据第五段中If
a
person
says
one
thing
and
later
says
the
opposite,
we
say
that
the
person
is
blowing
hot
and
cold.
可知,
如果一个人说一件事,
并且稍后又说相反的事,
我们说这个人在吹热风和凉风。言外之意就是说这个人的态度摇摆不定。
26.
When
the
four
girls
were
making
their
beds
in
silence,
they
probably
felt
______.
?
A.
shy
B.
disappointed
C.
excited
D.
curious
答:选A。细节理解题。根据“Break
the
ice”这一部分中的None
of
the
girls
knew
each
other,
and
no
one
knew
what
to
say.
可知,
这些女孩们彼此不认识且不知道说什么。这说明她们可能感到害羞。
27.
It
can
be
inferred
that
Colin’s
sister
hoped
that
Colin
would
______.
?
A.
buy
a
new
tennis
racket
B.
forgive
her
mistake
C.
stay
away
from
her
D.
make
an
apology
to
her
答:选B。推理判断题。根据最后一部分中So
to
bury
the
hatchet
is
to
make
peace
with
someone
else.
可知,
把斧子埋起来就是和某人和解。故可推测Colin的姐姐的话的意思是原谅了她的错误。
C
What
makes
a
family?
How
do
family
members
get
along
with
each
other?
Japanese
director
Hirokazu
Koreeda
tries
to
answer
these
questions
in
his
films.
His
latest
film,
Shoplifters,
is
about
his
favourite
topic-family
relations.
With
this
film,
Koreeda
won
this
year’s
Palme
d’Or
(金棕榈奖),
the
Cannes
Film
Festival’s
top
honor.
Shoplifters
tells
the
story
of
a
poor
family
living
in
Tokyo.
Three
generations
living
under
the
same
roof
survive
by
stealing
from
local
shops.
Obviously,
what
they
are
doing
is
wrong.
But
the
director
focuses
more
on
the
heartwarming
details
of
the
family’s
daily
life,
according
to
The
Playist.
Koreeda
shows
how
the
family
members
love
and
support
each
other.
For
example,
the
family
plans
a
beach
trip
for
the
youngest
sister.
They
carefully
pick
out
swimwear
for
the
girl.
At
the
beach,
they
play
happily.
The
girl
draws
a
picture
to
help
her
remember
their
time
together.
This
causes
viewers
to
forget
about
their
moral
judgments.
This
is
another
feature
of
Koreeda’s
filming
style.
He
is
good
at
presenting
ordinary
life.
It’s
slow
and
full
of
small
details-sometimes
it’s
even
boring.
But
there
is
tension(冲突)
present
as
well.
In
Shoplifters,
the
surprise
is
that
the
family
members
don’t
actually
have
blood
ties
to
each
other,
but
they
are
still
closer
than
a
real
family.
They
all
have
their
own
stories.
In
Japan
and
most
other
Asian
countries,
blood
ties
are
what
defines
(定义)
family.
But
Koreeda
questions
that
by
looking
at
different
kinds
of
relations.

People
often
ask
which
is
the
most
difficult
language
to
learn,
and
it
is
not
easy
to
answer
because
there
are
too
many
factors
to
take
into
consideration.
Firstly,
in
a
first
language
the
difficulties
are
unimportant
as
people
learn
their
mother
tongue
naturally,
so
the
question
of
how
hard
a
language
is
to
learn
only
makes
more
sense
when
learning
a
second
language.
A
native
speaker
of
Spanish,
for
example,
will
find
Portuguese
much
easier
to
learn
than
a
native
speaker
of
Chinese
because
Portuguese
is
very
similar
to
Spanish,
while
Chinese
is
very
different,
so
first
language
can
affect
learning
a
second
language.
The
greater
the
differences
between
the
second
language
and
our
first
language,
the
harder
it
will
be
for
most
people
to
learn.
Many
people
answer
that
Chinese
is
the
hardest
language
to
learn,
possibly
influenced
by
the
thought
of
learning
the
Chinese
writing
system,
and
the
pronunciation
of
Chinese
does
appear
to
be
very
difficult
for
many
foreign
learners.
However,
for
Japanese
speakers,
who
already
use
Chinese
characters
in
their
own
language,
learning
writing
will
be
less
difficult
than
for
speakers
of
languages
using
the
Roman
alphabet.
Some
people
seem
to
learn
languages
easily,
while
others
find
it
very
difficult.
Teachers
and
the
circumstances
in
which
the
language
is
learned
also
play
an
important
role,
as
well
as
each
learner’s
motivation
for
learning.
If
people
learn
a
language
because
they
need
to
use
it
professionally,
they
often
learn
it
faster
than
people
studying
a
language
that
has
no
direct
use
in
their
day
to
day
life.
Obviously,
British
diplomats
and
other
embassy
staff
have
found
that
the
second
hardest
language
is
Japanese,
which
will
probably
come
as
no
surprise
to
many,
but
the
language
that
they
have
found
to
be
the
most
problematic
is
Hungarian,
which
uses
a
similar
alphabet
to
English
but
has
35
cases
(forms
of
a
nouns
according
to
whether
it
is
subject,
object,
genitive,
etc).
This
does
not
mean
that
Hungarian
is
the
hardest
language
to
learn
for
everyone,
but
it
causes
British
diplomatic
personnel,
who
are
generally
used
to
learning
languages,
the
most
difficulty.
However,
Tabassaran,
a
Caucasian
language
has
48
cases,
so
it
might
cause
more
difficulty
if
British
diplomats
had
to
learn
it.
Different
cultures
and
individuals
from
those
cultures
will
find
different
languages
more
difficult.
Therefore,
it
is
impossible
to
say
that
there
is
one
language
that
is
the
most
difficult
language
in
the
world.

语篇概述:这是一篇说明文,
文章主要介绍了书面汉语的起源、发展过程和其对连接中国古代和现代的重要意义和作用,
是中国文化的重要组成部分。
56.
答:which/that。考查定语从句。句意:
中国因其古代文明而广为人知,
直到现代,
古代文明也一直在继续流传着。根据句意和分析句子结构可知,
空处引导定语从句,
关系词指代先行词ancient
civilization(指物)并在从句中作主语,
故填which/that。
57.
答:a。考查冠词。句意:
起初,
书面汉语是一种以图画为基础的语言。language为可数名词单数形式,
此处泛指“一种语言”,
且picture-based发音以辅音音素开头,
需用不定冠词a。故填a。
58.
答:symbols。考查名词的数。句意:
古代的中国人在动物的骨骼以及贝壳上雕刻符号。根据句意和句中bones和shells可知,
雕刻的符号不止一个,
应填复数形式。故填symbols。
59.
答:leading。考查非谓语动词。句意:
在那个时期,
人们居住在不同的地方,
导致形成了许多种类的方言和文字。分析句子可知,
句中已有谓语动词lived,
且句中无连词,
此处使用非谓语动词;此处表示一种自然而然的结果,
用现在分词作结果状语。故填leading。
60.
答:in。考查介词。句意:
秦始皇把七个主要的诸侯国统一成一个国家,
汉语书写系统开始朝着一个方向发展。根据句意可知此处是用固定短语in
a
direction,
意为“在一个方向上,
朝一个方向”。故填in。
61.
答:importance。考查名词。句意:
这样一个书写系统在凝聚中国人民和中国文化时是很重要的。be
of
importance=be
important为固定用法,
意为“重要的”。故填importance。
62.
答:freely。考查副词。句意:
甚至在今天,
无论中国人住在哪里,
或是说着什么样的方言,
他们都可以以书面的形式灵活自由地沟通。修饰动词communicate用副词,
副词freely,
自由地,
而free也可作副词,
但表示“免费地”,
不符合句意。故填freely。
63.
答:its。考查形容词性物主代词。句意:
书面汉语已经成为连接中国的现在和过去的一种重要方式。修饰名词past用形容词性物主代词。故填its。
64.
答:were
written。考查时态语态。句意:
在现代社会,
人们也可以读到由古人书写的经典作品。根据句意和分析句子结构可知,
that引导定语从句,
从句的先行词为classic
works,
与write之间是被动关系,
而且动作发生在过去,
所以用一般过去时的被动语态,
且be动词用复数形式。故填were
written。
65.
答:known。考查非谓语动词。句意:
对书面汉语系统的高度重视可以在汉字作为一种艺术形式的发展中看出来,
它被称作中国书法,
已经成为中国文化的一个重要组成部分。be
known
as为固定短语,
意为“被称为”。此处省略be,
用过去分词作后置定语,
故填known。

sons
realize
the
importance
of
work.
He
called
all
his
sons
and
let
them
sit
near
him
on
his
bed.
He
said
that
he
had
a
treasure
box
with
gold
coins
and
expensive
gems(宝石)for
them
and
wanted
to
share
the
treasure
equally
among
the
four
of
them.
The
young
men
were
very
happy
and
asked
where
their
father
had
placed
the
treasure.
The
old
man
replied,
“I
cannot
exactly
remember
the
place
where
I
have
hidden
the
treasure.
However,
the
treasure
box
is
buried
in
our
land.
I’m
really
not
sure
about
the
place
where
I
have
hidden
the
treasure
box.
”
Even
though
the
lazy
young
sons
were
happy,
they
were
sad
that
the
old
man
had
forgotten
the
place
where
the
treasure
was
hidden.
After
a
few
days,
the
old
man
died.
The
sons
decided
to
dig
the
land
to
find
the
treasure
box.
They
worked
very
hard
and
dug
their
land.
They
could
not
find
any
treasure
box
in
the
land.
Finally,
they
decided
to
dig
a
spot
in
their
land
that
was
a
bit
different
from
the
rest
of
the
area.
The
sons
believed
that
the
treasure
was
buried
in
that
spot.
They
dug
the
specific
spot
deeply,
but
got
nothing
but
water.
A
passer-by
who
noticed
the
land
and
the
water
flowing.
from
the
spot
talked
to
the
sons
about
farming.

参考范文:
A
passer-by
who
noticed
the
land
and
the
water
flowing
from
the
spot
talked
to
the
sons
about
farming.
He
told
them
how
to
grow
vegetables
in
the
land.
Upon
his
advice,
the
four
sons
sowed
vegetable
seeds,
and
planted
greens
and
flowering
plants
in
their
land.
Since
the
land
was
very
fertile
with
abundant
water,
within
a
few
weeks,
it
became
a
fertile
garden
with
nutritious
vegetables.
The
four
sons
sold
the
vegetables
at
a
good
price
and
earned
a
good
amount
of
money.
They
felt
very
happy
at
that
time
and
every
one
of
them
was
not
lazy
any
longer.
Then
they
all
realized
what
their
father
meant.
It
was
hard
work
that
was
referred
to
as“treasure
box”by
their
father.
Gradually,
the
four
sons
overcame
their
laziness,
worked
hard,
earned
more
money
and
lived
happily.
They
thought
that
only
through
hard
work
could
they
have
a
very
bright
future.
Everyone
has
worked
hard
since
they
accepted
the
passer-by’s
advice.
It
is
true
that
hard
work
always
pays.
