Today is Sunday. I got up very early in the morning. After breakfast I went to the bookstore. I wanted to buy a book Robinson Crusoe. I looked for the book for quite some time ,but I couldn't find it. The shopkeeper then came to help me. I was very glad that I got the book at last. In the afternoon I called on my friend Wang Lin. He just came back from Beijing. We talked a lot. In the evening I watched an interesting play on TV. I enjoyed it very much. i had a wonderful time.

Model 4: An interesting day
Today is Friday. It is my thirteenth birthday. I got up very early in the morning and put on my new clothes happily. My parents bought me the new clothes as my birthday presents. I went to school earlier than before. I invited many of my classmates to come to my birthday party in the evening.
Evening came at last. Many of my classmates came to my home. They bought me lots of beautiful presents. They all said, “Happy birthday to you!" We sang birthday songs happily. Then my parents brought out a big birthday cake, saying, "We love you for ever. Happy birthday!"
At the end of the party, we ate the birthday cake and some other delicious food. How happy I was!
Model 2: What a bad day
It was a sunny day. We decided to have a picnic outside the city. In the morning, we took an early bus to Nanhui . It was quite a colorful world. there were green trees, orange leaves, red peach blossoms(桃花). At noon, we reached the place, we sat by the river bank(河岸) and took out a lot of things, such as bread, orange juice, apples, cakes, eggs and so on. But all of a sudden(突然), it began to rain. Unluckily there was no shelter(遮雨处) nearby. We had to take a bus to go back home in a hurry.
What an unforgettable picnic it was!
Not long ago, eight young people from Wuxi made a charity bicycle trip along the Grand Canal. The purpose of their trip was to raise money for Project Hope. They left Wuxi on May 20 and arrived in Beijing on June 5. Though the ride was long and tough, they went all the way in high spirits. With the help of the people, they collected / raised more than 50,000 yuan. After the long trip, they were tired, but they were happy. They were proud of what they had done. It is an unusual experience that they will never forget.
Task 5 A Charity Bicycle Trip
On the afternoon of November 18, we had the opening ceremony(仪式) of the fourth Jiaokou Middle School sports festival. Each class gave a wonderful performance. The next day, we had an exciting sports meeting. Many players were in it. All the others just watched them. Some were busy writing articles about it. The boys and girls 1500 meters races were the most exciting games. The relay races were exciting, too. Everyone cheered for the competitions. They did their best. When they scored for their own class, everyone was so excited that they jumped to their feet. The sports meeting didn’t end until four in the afternoon. we were tired, but we were so happy.

The other day, Tom was riding along the street. Suddenly, a car was running towards him fast. He was so frightened that he quickly turned to the left side. But it was too late. The car hit his bike and he fell off it. When the driver realized that he had caused an accident, he got such a fright that he took flight with his car. He was soon out of sight, leaving Tom helpless on the spot. Fortunately a passer-by happened to see what had happened and remembered the number of the car. He reported this to the police. Now the driver has been caught and will be punished for his wrong doing.

One day, I went to ski with my friend, Li Mei. we were playing happily on the ice when i heard a shout "help". i turned back and was surprised to see a boy falling into a ice hole.
But neither of us could swim. so Li Mei and i ran to ask for help. A few minutes later, a policeman came and pulled the boy out of the water. What an unusual experience it was!

We had an English evening yesterday. there were many performances. almost everyone took part in it. miss tang joined us. she sang us some nice English songs, we enjoyed her sweet voice very much.
Helen's recitation was so good that she gave three encores. peter, Eric, and martin's short play was so interesting that we couldn't help laughing. towards the end of the party we danced and sang together. we not only practiced our English but also had a good time.

The summer holiday is coming. I’m going to have a good rest and learn to relax myself. I will read more useful books because reading more books is not only interesting but also can make me learn more knowledge. I will try to spend more time in chatting with my parents and help them to do some housework. I am going to take part in the social activities so that I can know more about the society. If possible, I’d like to go to Shanghai for a visit of the World Expo. I’m sure I’ll have an interesting and meaningful summer holiday.

I used to be a shy girl in my primary school. I was weak in English at that time, especially for spoken English. So I was afraid to answer the teacher’s questions during English classes.
After I entered my dream middle school, something changed. I started to learn many interesting English stories and my English teacher was patient to help me a lot. I studied hard in class and practiced by watching films and listening to English songs in my free time. Little by little, I found it more and more interesting to learn English. I could even talk with my classmates fluently in English and I was not shy any more. At last, I got high grades in English and I had confidence to do it better in the future.
My life in the future will be colorful and meaningful.
I’m going to be a good doctor after I graduate from the university. I believe I’ll bring my parents health and happiness. In my spare time, I’ll stay with my family. We’ll travel a lot and do lots of sports. I’ll also read as many books as I can for I want to improve myself. Even if I work, I will never give up studying.
I’m sure my dream will come true because of my hard work and the life in the future will get better and better.
