答案 ACD
B
Apart
from
speeches,in
my
point
of
view,we
can
use
our
eyes
to
express
ourselves.And
through
one’s
eyes,we
can
read
sorrow,happiness,encouragement,and
many
other
emotions.Eyes
are
always
the
most
direct
organs
to
reveal
our
thoughts.
Until
now
I
still
remember
an
experience,which
happened
when
I
took
part
in
a
singing
contest
at
the
age
of
nine.It
was
the
power
of
my
mother’s
eyes
that
encouraged
me
to
go
for
it.I
had
shown
great
interest
in
singing
before
that,but
I
was
too
shy
to
sing
in
public.So
one
day
my
mother
took
me
to
sign
up
for
the
singing
contest.With
my
mother’s
company
and
encouragement,I
was
determined
to
meet
that
challenge.Standing
on
the
stage,I
suddenly
found
I
had
become
the
focus
of
all
attention.I
got
so
nervous
that
I
couldn’t
even
keep
my
eyes
open.When
it
was
my
turn
to
be
introduced
to
the
audience
and
sing,I
became
even
more
nervous.I
felt
my
legs
were
shaking
and
my
memory
seemed
to
have
left
me—I
couldn’t
remember
anything.Searching
for
help,I
met
my
mother’s
eyes
which
were
sparkling
with
encouragement
and
strong
power.It
seemed
that
they
were
speaking
to
me,“Take
it
easy.You
can
do
it!I’ll
always
be
with
you!”
I
read
the
message
in
her
eyes
and
at
that
moment
I
got
my
confidence
back
and
began
to
sing
my
song.When
I
came
down
from
the
stage,she
came
up
to
me,saying,“Great!I’m
proud
of
you!”
and
gave
me
a
big
hug.At
that
moment,I
saw
her
eyes
filled
with
tears
of
joy.Sometimes,you
see,just
a
look
of
encouragement
from
a
loved
one
can
make
a
shy
person
brave.
24.What’s
the
author’s
purpose
of
telling
us
about
her
unforgettable
experience?
A.To
prove
that
we
can
express
ourselves
through
our
eyes.
B.To
explain
that
our
eyes
are
an
important
part
of
our
body.
C.To
share
her
unforgettable
experience
with
us.
D.To
tell
us
how
she
became
brave.
25.According
to
the
passage
we
know
that
.
A.the

wasn’t
interested
in
the
singing
contest
at
all

答案 ADAB
C
When
a
leafy
plant
is
under
attack,it
doesn’t
sit
quietly.Back
in
1983,two
scientists,Jack
Schultz
and
Ian
Baldwin,reported
that
young
maple
trees
getting
bitten
by
insects
send
out
a
particular
smell
that
neighboring
plants
can
get.These
chemicals
come
from
the
injured
parts
of
the
plant
and
seem
to
be
an
alarm.What
the
plants
pump
through
the
air
is
a
mixture
of
chemicals
known
as
volatile
organic
compounds,VOCs
for
short.
Scientists
have
found
that
all
kinds
of
plants
give
out
VOCs
when
being
attacked.It’s
a
plant’s
way
of
crying
out.But
is
anyone
listening?
Apparently.Because
we
can
watch
the
neighbors
react.
Some
plants
pump
out
smelly
chemicals
to
keep
insects
away.But
others
do
double
duty.They
pump
out
perfumes
designed
to
attract
different
insects
who
are
natural
enemies
to
the
attackers.Once
they
arrive,the
tables
are
turned.The
attacker
who
was
lunching
now
becomes
lunch.
In
study
after
study,it
appears
that
these
chemical
conversations
help
the
neighbors.The
damage
is
usually
more
serious
on
the
first
plant,but
the
neighbors,relatively
speaking,stay
safer
because
they
heard
the
alarm
and
knew
what
to
do.
Does
this
mean
that
plants
talk
to
each
other?
Scientists
don’t
know.Maybe
the
first
plant
just
made
a
cry
of
pain
or
was
sending
a
message
to
its
own
branches,and
so,in
effect,was
talking
to
itself.Perhaps
the
neighbors
just
happened
to
“overhear”
the
cry.So
information
was
exchanged,but
it
wasn’t
a
true,intentional
back
and
forth.
Charles
Darwin,over
150
years
ago,imagined
a
world
far
busier,noisier
and
more
intimate(亲密的)
than
the
world
we
can
see
and
hear.Our
senses
are
weak.There’s
a
whole
lot
going
on.
28.What
does
a
plant
do
when
it
is
under
attack?

help
from
other
plants.
C.It
stands
quietly.

sends
out
certain
chemicals.

does
the
author
mean
by
“the
tables
are
turned”
in

insects
gather
under
the
table.

plants
get
ready
to
fight
back.

perfumes
attract
natural
enemies.
30.Scientists
find
from
their
studies
that
plants
can
.
A.predict
natural
disasters
B.protect
themselves
against
insects

one
another
intentionally
D.help
their
neighbors
when
necessary
31.What

infer
from
the
last
paragraph?

world
is
changing
faster
than
ever.

have
stronger
senses
than
before.
C.The
world
is
more
complex
than
it
seems.

Obviously
some
people
are
willing

pay
big

charging
customers

and
$999
for
the
chance
to
act
like
a
kid
again.
At
Preschool
Mastermind
in
New
York
adults
get
to
participate
in
show-and-tell,arts-and-crafts
such
as
finger
paint,games

because
they
want

Michelle
said.“Another’s

She
explained
that
most
of

added
that
while
the
planned
activities
were
fun,it
was
often
the
spontaneous(自发的)
moments

Dear
Jack,
I’m
glad
to
hear
from
you.And
now
I’m
very
happy
to
share
something
about
Chinese
tea
culture
in
reply
to
your
last
e-mail.
Chinese
tea
culture
started
about
4,000
years
ago
and
drinking
tea
gradually
became
an
amazing
tradition.In
China,people
drink
tea
almost
everywhere
and
in
most
of
their
spare
time.Some
Chinese
believe
that
tea
benefits
people’s
health
a
lot.Drinking
a
cup
of
tea
makes
people
relaxed
and
refreshed.Others
treat
guests
or
friends
to
tea
drinking
in
social
communication.
Probably,you’ve
got
a
general
picture
of
tea
culture
after
my
introduction.Then,how
about
coming
to
China
to
experience
it
yourself?
Maybe,you
will
fall
in
love
with
it.
Yours,
Li

A
few
years
ago
I
worked
in
an
international
company
that
sold
computer
devices.I
had
to
travel
a
lot
all
over
the
country
as
a
part
of
my
work.I
remember
that
I
was
at
a
stage
of
my
life
where
I
only
cared
about
how
to
make
more
money.
On
one
of
my
trips,I
came
out
of
the
airport
to
take
a
bus
to
downtown,as
usual.It
was
the
same
routine:
get
into
the
city,take
the
bus
to
the
hotel,visit
the
customer,work
late,take
the
bus
back
to
the
airport
and
fly
back...That
day,for
some
reasons,I
decided
to
take
the
stairs
down
to
a
different
exit,where
I
came
across
a
beautiful
garden
I
had
never
seen
before.I
waited
there,enjoying
the
scenery.Finally
the
bus
came.
Usually
I
always
took
the
seat
behind
the
driver.That
day
I
sat
down
somewhere
in
the
middle.A
boy
was
seated
next
to
me,carrying
a
lot
of
suitcases.Suddenly,he
turned
to
me
and
gave
me
one
of
the
most
sincere
smiles
I
had
ever
seen
from
a
stranger.Warmly,he
said,“Hi,the
perfect
day
in
the
perfect
place,huh?”
I
remember
thinking
to
myself—this
must
be
one
of
those
typical
people
who
is
young
and
naive
and
just
thinks
everything
is
beautiful
and
easy.Why
was
he
annoying
me
when
I
just
wanted
to
enjoy
the
bus
ride?
But
out
of
politeness,I
replied,“Perfect!
Did
your
parents
pay
for
you
to
have
some
vacations
on
the
beach?”“No,I’m
not
here
for
vacation,and
I
don’t
have
parents,”
he
shook
his
head.“I’m
here
because
I
want
to
achieve
my
biggest
dream.I’m
on
the
way
to
the
army
school
where
my
grandfather
studied
a
long
time
ago.”

“I
lost
my
dad
10
years
ago
then
my
mom
married
again.My
stepfather
threw
me
out
of
the
house.Since
then,I’ve
been
living
all
over
the
country.I’ve
met
many
people
who
were
kind
to
me.And
I’ve
learnt
a
lot
from
life
through
these
years,”
he
said
softly.At
that
point
I
couldn’t
say
a
word.I
felt
the
tears
coming.Fortunately,he
continued
talking.
He
smiled
and
told
me
that
for
10
years,he
had
only
one
thing
on
his
mind—to
join
the
army
school
like
his
grandfather.“My
grandfather
was
a
general
of
the
army.He
left
me
this,”
he
said
proudly.He
showed
me
a
golden
knife
and
said
this
was
the
best
memory
of
his
childhood.“The
only
thing
I
know
is
that
I
will
follow
my
biggest
dream
and
every
day
I
will
be
happy.”
Soon,the
bus
reached
his
stop.He
stood
up,took
all
his
suitcases,and
said
goodbye
with
a
big
smile.From
that
day
on,I
always
try
to
do
everything
with
my
best
smile
on
my
face.
