The
3
Best
Marvel
Films?ranked
It
seems
that
ranking
films
well
is
always
a
tough
task.In
the
hearts
of
millions
of
fans,everyone
has
his
own
choice.Superhero
films
are
even
more
so.Recently,The
Guardian
has
chosen
three
of
the
most
popular
Marvel
films.
No.3
Blade
Ⅱ(2002)
This
film
continues
the
story
of
an
earlier
1998’s
Blade
and
is
directed
by
Guillermo.The
story
once
again
concerns
the
mysterious
day
walker,played
by
Wesley
Snipes.It
is
an
action
film
full
of
high
technology
and
the
fighting
scenes
Guillermo
expresses
are
horribly
exciting.Not
a
typical
superhero
film,in
many
ways,but
a
great
one.
No.2
Black
Panther(2018)
This
superb
film
is
an
entertaining
adventure,with
a
richer
component(成分)
of
fantasy
than
the
other
Marvel
films.The
character
of
Black
Panther
is
recognized
as
one
of
Marvel’s
greatest
heroes.It
is
a
big
hit
across
the
board.It
also
employs
Rachel
Morrison
who
is
MCU’S
first
woman
cinematographer,a
photographer
who
operates
a
movie
camera.Marvel
Studios’
president,Kevin
Feige,has
promised
to
get
more
women
writers
and
directors
on
board.So
far,the
only
Marvel
female
writer
is
Nicole
Perlman
for
Guardians
of
the
Galaxy.
No.1
Thor:Ragnarok(2017)
It
is
smart,visually
exciting
and
perhaps
above
all,funny.And
it’s
funny
in
a
way
that
only
Marvel
films
can
be.It
suggests
that
to
some
degree
comedy
can
be
an
important
part
of
the
drama.Taika
Waititi
was
an
inspired
choice
as
director.Hemsworth
plays
the
role
of
Thor
and
Cate
Blanchett
plays
Hela,the
goddess
of
death
who
also
happens
to
be
Thor’s
half
sister.
21.Which

popular

The
event
happened
to
Hunter
as
if
it
were
yesterday
when
he
was
working
in
a
fancy
French
restaurant
in
Denver.The
ice
cream
he
was
serving
fell
onto
the
white
dress
of
a
rich
and
important
woman.
Thirty
years
have
passed,but
Hunter
can’t
get
the
memory
out
of
his
mind,nor
the
woman’s
kind
reaction.She
was
shocked,regained
calmness
and,in
a
kind
voice,told
the
young
Hunter,“It’s
OK.It
wasn’t
your
fault.”
When
she
left
the
restaurant,she
also
left
the
future
Fortune
500
CEO
with
a
life
lesson.You
can
tell
a
lot
about
a
person
by
the
way
he
or
she
treats
the
waiter.
Hunter
isn’t
the
only
CEO
to
have
made
this
discovery.Rather,it
seems
to
be
one
of
those
few
laws
of
the
land
that
every
CEO
learns
on
the
way
up.It’s
hard
to
get
a
dozen
CEOs
to
agree
about
anything,but
most
agree
with
the
Waiter
Rule.They
say
how
others
treat
the
CEO
says
nothing.But
how
others
treat
the
waiter
is
like
a
window
into
the
soul.
Watch
out
for
anyone
who
pulls
out
the
power
card
to
say
something
like,“I
could
buy
this
place
and
fire
you,”
or
“I
know
the
owner
and
I
could
have
you
fired.”
Those
who
say
such
things
have
shown
more
about
their
character
than
about
their
wealth
and
power.
The
CEO
who
came
up
with
it,or
at
least
first
wrote
it
down,is
Raytheon
CEO
Bill
Swanson.He
wrote
a
best?selling
book
called
Swanson’s
Unwritten
Rules
of
Management.
“A
person
who
is
nice
to
you
but
rude
to
the
waiter,or
to
others,is
not
a
nice
person,”
Swanson
says.“I
will
never
offer
a
job
to
the
person
who
is
sweet
to
the
boss
but
turns
rude
to
someone
cleaning
the
tables.”
24.What
happened
after
Hunter
dropped
the
ice
cream
onto
the
woman’s
dress?
A.He
was
fired.
B.He
was
blamed.
C.The
woman
comforted
him.
D.The
woman
left
the
restaurant
at
once.
25.Hunter
learned
one
of
his
life
lessons
from
.
A.his
experience
as
a
waiter
B.the
advice
given
by
the
CEOs
C.an
article
in
Fortune
D.an
interesting
best?selling
book
26.Most
CEOs
have
the
same
opinion
about
according
to
the
text.
A.Fortune
500
companies
B.the
Management
Rules
C.Swanson’s
book
D.the
Waiter

27.From
the
text
we
can
learn
that
.
A.one
should
be
nicer
to
important
people
B.CEOs
often
show
their
power
before
others
C.one
should
respect
others

D.CEOs

Imagine
possessing
something
that
you
loved
so
much.Imagine
what
it
would
feel
like
if
you
lost
it.While
that
item
may
be
something
as
simple
as
a
toy,you
would
still
feel
very
upset,but
you
could
replace
it
with
a
new
one.Now
imagine
losing
something
that
you
depend
on
for
survival
and
cannot
be
replaced.That
is
what
it
would
be
like
if
we
lost
the
natural
environment
around
us.
Firstly,I
believe
the
environment
should
be
protected
because
it
supports
human
life.One
of
the
largest
examples
is
that
we
get
all
of
our
food
and
drinks
from
the
environment.If
the
environment
were
to
be
destroyed
beyond
revival,then
the
human
race
would
be
over
in
months.Scientists
have
to
find
another
planet
with
similar
conditions
to
the
Earth,and
if
it’s
found,we
don’t
have
the
technology
to
get
to
that
planet
in
time.
Secondly,I
believe
that
the
environment
serves
as
an
amazing
educational
tool
for
students.When
I
was
in
second
grade,I
had
an
absolute
interest
in
animals.When
we
had
a
field
trip
to
the
Daggerwing
Nature
Center,I
was
very
excited.When
we
got
there,I
could
hardly
believe
what
I
was
seeing.There
was
a
bridge
to
get
to
the
main
building,and
under
the
bridge
was
a
small
swamp(沼泽)
with
turtles,fish,and
my
personal
favorite,alligators.I
was
so
surprised
that
I
almost
ran
into
the
tour
guide.We
walked
into
the
building
and
saw
various
animals
in
their
habitats.I
was
so
inspired
by
this
visit.Six
years
later,I
have
taken
an
animal
behavior
class
for
three
weeks.Meeting
by
chance
with
the
environment
can
inspire
people,and
if
preserved,it
will
continue
to
inspire
people.
In
conclusion,the
environment
is
so
valuable
because
it
can’t
be
replaced,keeps
us
alive,and
serves
as
a
great
educational
tool.

30.What’s
the
function
of
Paragraph
3?
A.To
express
the
writer’s
absolute
interest
in
animals.
B.To
introduce
the
Daggerwing
Nature
Center’s

D
What
would
it
be
like
to
live
on
Mars?Volunteers
are
spending
eight
months
in
an
area
that
looks
much
like
the
surface
of
Mars.They
are
isolated
high
on
top
of
Mauna
Loa,a
volcanic
mountain
on
the
Big
Island
of
Hawaii,living
on
a
simulated,or
make?believe,Mars
Base.
The
project
called
HI?SEAS
is
in
the
charge
of
Kim
Binsted.She
says
this
wild
environment
is
as
close
to
Mars
as
you
can
find
on
Earth.Because
it
is
so
high,the
land
is
not
warm
or
rich
with
plants,like
the
rest
of
Hawaii.
“You
will
see
there
is
really
no
visible
plant
life
or
animal
life.And
you
have
got
this
wonderful
volcanic
material.”
Mauna
Loa,2,500
metres
above
sea
level,is
geologically
very
similar
to
Olympus
Mons
on
Mars
and
almost
as
tall
as
that
Martian
mountain.When
measured
from
its
base,deep
in
the
ocean,Mauna
Loa
is
the
second
largest
mountain
in
our
solar
system,after
the
one
on
Mars.
The
six?member
HI?SEAS
crew
is
mostly
self?sufficient.Food
and
other
supplies
are
brought
to
them.But
the
individuals
bringing
those
supplies
cannot
communicate
with
volunteers
inside
the
habitat,or
base.
Kim
Binsted
says
this
experiment
looks
at
how
the
astronauts
interact,or
get
along
with
each
other.“We
study
how
well
they
work
together,how
we
can
keep
them
happy
and
supported,and
not
wanting
to
kill
each
other
over
these
long
durations.”
Crew
members
communicate
with
the
outside
world
through
e?mail
and
blogs.They
also
produce
videos
on
the
YouTube
website.
“I
am
really
enjoying
this
opportunity
to
live
in
this
dome
and
pretend
that
I’m
on
Mars
and
get
to
learn
all
sorts
of
new
skills,”
one
of
them
said.
“Whoever
gets
there
first,the
trip
will
not
be
easy,”
says
Kim
Binsted.“It
is
going
to
be
challenging.”

Some
individuals
are
born
with
a
gift
for
public
speaking.
36
Do
you
want
to
be
a
good
public
speaker?Here
are
some
principles
you
must
master.
People
want
to
listen
to
someone
who
is
interesting,relaxed
and
comfortable.Too
often,when
you
stand
up
to
give
a
speech,you
focus
on
the
“public”
at
the
expense
of
the
“speaking.”
37
Focus
on
the
speaking.Talk
directly
to
your
audience,be
yourself
and
make
a
connection.
Even
the
most
successful
public
speaker
will
make
mistakes.Yet,the
only
one
who
cares
about
any
mistake
is
the
one
who
is
speaking.People’s
attention
wanders
constantly.In
fact,most
people
only
absorb
about
20
percent
of
a
speaker’s
message.So,don’t
stop
speaking
when
you
make
a
mistake
unless
it’s
a
truly
serious
one.
38
Your
goal
is
not
to
be
a
perfect
public
speaker.
39
And
like
everything
else
in
life,that
takes
practice.Remember,even
world
champion
athletes
practice
their
skills
on
a
consistent
basis.
40
It’s
rare
to
hear
someone
say,“I
wish
that
speaker
had
spoken
longer.”
On
the
other
hand,you
probably
can’t
count
the
times
that
you’ve
thought,“I’m
glad
that
talk
is
over.It
seemed
to
go
on
forever!”
So
surprise
your
audience.Always
make
your
presentation
just
a
bit
shorter
than
anticipated.It’s
better
to
leave
your
listeners
wishing
for
more
than
shifting
restlessly
in
their
seats
waiting
for
your
speech
finally
to
end.
A.Do
the
opposite.
B.You
want
to
be
an
effective
public
speaker.
C.You
don’t
need
to
apologize
for
a
minor
slip.
D.When
it
comes
to
public
speaking,less
is
usually
more.
E.The
objective
of
most
speeches
is
to
benefit
the
audience.
F.Take
the
fear
out
of
public
speaking
by
focusing
on
your
listeners.
G.However,the
majority
of
people
are
effective
speakers
because
they
train
to
be.

We
moved
on
into
the
jungle—a
forest
where
large
numbers
of
tall
trees
and
plants
grow
very
close
together.Old
Mali
went
in
front
and
I
followed
close
behind
him.We
stopped
for
the
night
about
an
hour
before
it
began
to
get
dark.
Old
Mali
lit
a
fire.When
it
was
bright
he
showed
me
how
to
make
a
bed
with
moss(青苔).It
was
soft
and
comfortable.
“Mali,how
did
you
learn
to
make
such
a
bed?”
I
asked.
“I
learned
to
make
beds
like
that,”Mali
replied,“by
watching
and
listening
to
others.That
is
the
real
way
to
learn
anything.”
“Will
you
let
me
watch
you
always?”I
asked
Old
Mali.“I
want
to
learn
all
the
things
you
know
about
the
jungle.”
When
we
had
finished
our
supper,Old
Mali
got
onto
his
bed
and
lay
down.It
was
now
completely
dark.In
the
fire
light,Old
Mali
seemed
to
be
fast
asleep
on
his
bed.I
suddenly
felt
alone
and
afraid.
All
day
in
the
jungle,while
we
had
been
walking,I
had
heard
noises
of
animals.Now
they
seemed
to
be
much
nearer.The
jungle
was
now
a
wall
of
blackness
in
the
light
of
the
fire.
I
felt
frightened
and
suddenly
my
mouth
went
dry.I
wanted
to
scream.I
felt
my
mouth
opening
wide,ready
to
scream
as
loud
as
possible.
But
I
did
not
scream.I
saw
Old
Mali’s
face
in
the
firelight.This
made
me
feel
ashamed.I
held
my
teeth
tightly
together
to
stop
myself
from
screaming.I
lay
down
and
closed
my
eyes.
As
soon
as
I
closed
my
eyes,I
heard
a
thousand
noises.The
whole
jungle
became
alive
with
animals
moving
quietly
and
carefully
all
around
me.Suddenly
Old
Mali
took
a
deep
breath
and
made
a
noise.I
was
hearing
so
many
imaginary
noises
and
the
real
noise
made
by
Old
Mali
gave
me
a
terrible
fright.
I
opened
my
eyes
and
jumped
out
of
bed.I
pulled
my
knife
out
and
held
it
above
my
head.

参考范文
I
was
going
to
see
if
there
was
a
wild
animal
beside
the
fire.Through
the
burning
fire,I
believed
I
saw
its
sharp
teeth
and
cruel
red
eyes.Its
claws
would
insert
into
my
flash
without
mercy
as
soon
as
I
came
into
its
sight.I
couldn’t
help
trembling
and
screaming
loudly
at
the
thought
of
it.Then
a
soft
voice
came
from
the
dark,“Are
you
Okey?”
It
was
Old
Mali
who
was
now
lying
on
his
side
with
his
eyes
wide
open.
Old
Mali’s
calm
voice
made
me
feel
better.Adjusting
breath
quickly
and
observing
carefully,I
found
the
“animal”
was
just
the
shade
of
trees.I
laughed
in
relief
and
told
Old
Mali
what
had
happened
just
now.Having
known
the
whole
story,Mali
gave
me
an
understanding
smile
and
told
me
his
former
experiences
in
jungle.With
these
stories,I
got
back
to
my
bed
and
lay
down.Exhausted,I
closed
my
eyes,and
knowing
Old
Mali
was
watching,I
soon
fell
fast
asleep.That
night
was
so
unforgettable
that
it
would
stay
in
my
memory
forever.
