答案 AAB
B
I
grew
up
without
a
father.Well,sort
of,my
parents
divorced
in
the
1960s
when
I
was
a
small
child,and
I
stayed
with
my
mother
in
Los
Angeles.My
father
remarried
and
moved
to
a
small
suburb
of
Atlanta.For
one
month
out
of
the
year
in
the
summer,I
would
fly
back
and
spend
time
with
my
dad,so
I
had
a
father
at
times.
Further,I
had
a
series
of
stepfathers
who
ranged
from
wonderful
guys
to
alcoholics
to
dangerous
individuals.Having
lived
through
such
experiences,I
find
it
amusing
when
people
say
that
children
really
need
a
father
in
the
home.Well,if
he
is
a
good
father
and
a
good
man,then
I
agree
completely.If
he
is
not,then
the
child
might
actually
be
better
off
without
him.We
don’t
just
need
fathers—we
need
good
fathers.
I
feel
it
fair
to
say
I
ended
up
a
very
successful
adult,at
least
that’s
what
people
tell
me.So
how
did
I
do
it?
I
think
it
started
with
me
having
a
bit
of
a
chip
on
my
shoulder.Normally
this
is
not
a
good
thing,but
in
my
case
it
was
rocket
fuel
for
achievement.Not
having
a
father
in
my
life
gave
me
something
to
prove,and
it
motivated
me
in
an
“I’ll
show
you”
way.
I
also
tried
very
hard,even
as
a
little
boy
to
be
self-sufficient.And
that
means
I
did
not
rely
upon
my
parents
except
to
the
extent
necessary.This
kind
of
independence
I
believe
is
highly
missed
in
this
age
of
highly
managed
children
with
“helicopter”
parents
hovering(盘旋)
above
them
constantly.
I
also
think
I
never
wanted
not
having
a
father
in
my
life
to
be
an
excuse
for
myself.We
make
and
allow
excuses
constantly
these
days,but
I
just
never
felt
that
feeling
sorry
for
myself
was
going
to
get
me
anywhere.I
think
if
children
can
adopt
such
mindsets
early
in
their
lives
it
can
be
helpful.
24.According
to
the
first
two
paragraphs,the
author
thinks
.
A.his
father
is
a
bad
one
B.nobody
needs
a
father
C.children
need
a
good
father
D.children
really
need
a
father
25.How
did
the
author
end
up
a
very
successful
adult?
A.He
was
very
intelligent.
B.He
made
excuse
for
himself.
C.He
was
motivated
by
a
father.
D.He
was
very
independent
and
tried
very
hard.
26.What
does
the
underlined
word
“self-sufficient”
mean
in
Paragraph
4?
A.Able
to
support
myself.
B.Able
to
dress
myself
very
quickly.
C.Able
to
play
by
myself.
D.Able
to
work
on
my
own.
27.How
can
we
describe
the
author
from
the
passage?
A.Friendly,clever
and
warm-hearted.
B.Clever,determined
and
independent.
C.Motivated,hard-working
and
independent.
D.Motivated,hard-working
and
warm-hearted.

If
you
like
texting
and
are
trying
to
lose
weight,a
new
study
found
that
using
texting
to
track
diet
and
exercise
habits
may
help
you
lose
weight.
Previous
research
has
shown
that
keeping
food
and
exercise
diaries
improves
the
likelihood
of
success
when
you
are
trying
to
lose
weight.Using
a
computer
or
a
pen
and
paper
to
record
information,however,can
be
a
burden
and
cause
some
people
to
give
up.
Duke
University
researchers
said
using
text
messages
to
track
eating
and
exercise
habits
can
save
time,and
increase
the
chances
that
people
will
stick
with
their
weight-loss
rules.
The
study
included
26
obese
women
with
an
average
age
of
38.The
women
used
daily
texting
as
part
of
their
weight-loss
program.The
text
messages
focused
on
tracking
personalized
goals,such
as
avoiding
sugary
drinks
or
walking
10,000
steps
a
day.Messages
also
provided
brief
feedback(反馈)
and
tips.
Every
morning,the
women
received
a
text
from
an
automated(自动的)
system
that
said,“Please
text
yesterday’s
personal
information
of
steps
you
walked
and
how
many
sugary
drinks
you
had.”
Based
on
the
women’s
responses
to
the
text
message,the
system
sent
another
text
with
personalized
feedback
and
tips.
After
six
months,the
women
who
used
daily
texting
lost
an
average
of
nearly
3
pounds,while
another
group
of
women
who
used
traditional
methods
to
keep
food
and
exercise
diaries
gained
an
average
of
2.5
pounds,according
to
the
study,which
was
published
in
the
Journal
of
Medical
Internet
Research.
“Text
messaging
has
become
popular
and
may
be
an
effective
method
to
simplify
tracking
of
diet
and
exercise
behavior,”
Dori
Steinberg,who
was
responsible
for
this
research,said.
Steinberg
said,“Text
messaging
offers
several
advantages
compared
to
other
self-monitoring
methods.Unlike
web-based
diet
and
exercise
diaries,data
in
a
text
message
can
be
entered
quickly
on
nearly
all
cellphone
platforms,so
it
is
very
convenient
to
receive
feedback.Besides,because
of
the
limited
number
of
words
used
in
text
messages,it
saves
time.”
28.According
to
the
study,traditional
methods
.
A.are
easier
for
people
to
lose
weight
B.may
cause
people
to
give
up
losing
weight
C.provide
brief
feedback
and
tips
D.are
easy
to
track
diet
and
exercise
behavior
29.Which
is
NOT
true
about
text
messaging
according
to
Steinberg?
A.It
saves
time.
B.It
saves
money.
C.It
can
be
entered
quickly.
D.It
is
easy
to
receive
feedback.

walkers
aren’t
just
an
annoyance
to
other
walkers.Australian
researchers
armed
with
movie
special-effects
technology
have
determined
scientifically
that
they’re
threats
to
themselves.Using
motion-capture
technology
similar
to
that
used
for
films,researchers
concluded
that
texting
while
walking
not
only
affects
balance
but
also
the
ability
to
walk
in
straight
line.
“Some
people
like
checking
emails
while
walking
to
work
in
the
morning,”
said
the
study’s
co-author
Hoorn,“but
they
may
not
know
it
has
a
serious
effect
on
the
safety
of
themselves.”
Other
facts
have
also
proved
this.A
tourist
from
Taiwan
walked
off
a
pier
near
Melbourne
last
month
while
checking
Facebook,bringing
a
sudden
and
icy
end
to
a
penguin-watching
visit.Another
person
who
was
too
wrapped
up
in
his
phone
to
notice
dangers
walked
straight
into
the
fountain
in
front
of
a
shopping
mall.
The
Australian
study
involved
27
volunteers,a
third
of
whom
admitted
having
knocked
into
objects
while
texting.They
were
asked
to
walk
8.5
meters
three
times—once
without
phones,once
while
reading
text
and
once
while
writing
text,when
eight
cameras
recorded
their
actions.
They
found
the
volunteers
using
the
phone
walked
slower,and,more
seriously,they
locked
their
arms
and
elbows
in
like
“robots”,which
forced
their
heads
to
move
more,throwing
themselves
off
balance.“In
a
pedestrian(步行的)
environment,inability
to
maintain
a
straight
path
would
be
likely
to
increase
potential
for
traffic
accidents,”
said
Mr
Hoorn.“The
best
thing
to
do
is
step
aside
and
stop,or
keep
off
the
phone.”
Authorities
world-wide
have
taken
note.Signs
on
Hong
Kong’s
subway
system
advise
passengers
in
three
languages
to
keep
their
eyes
off
their
phones.Police
and
transport
authorities
have
highlighted
the
danger
in
Singapore,where
the
Straits
Times
newspaper
recently
declared
cellphone-distracted
road
crossing
as
“bad
habit
No.2”
contributing
to
the
rising
number
of
road
deaths.Some
U.S.states,including
New
York
and
Arkansas,are
considering
bans
on
what
they’re

.
A.do
not
influence
other
walkers
B.do
harm
to
their
eyes
C.put
themselves
in
danger
D.can
still
walk
straight
33.Which
of
the

words
has
the
closest
meaning
to
“wrapped
up”
in
Paragraph
2?
A.Absent-minded.
B.Annoyed.

study,we
know
that

volunteers
using
phones
while

moved
normally
B.ten
volunteers
admitted
having

divided
into
three
groups
during
the
study
D.texting

lot
of

surrounding
5G,the
next
generation
of
wireless
technology.
36
?How
might
it
change
our
lives?
5G
stands
for
fifth
generation,meaning
the
next
step
in
the
progression
of
technology
to
replace
the
current
4G
system.Earlier
“G”
systems
were
designed
to
improve
mobile
communication
operations.Each
new
technology
brought
major
improvements
in
speed
and
greatly
increased
network
capacity(容量).
37
.It
is
expected
to
permit
more
users
to
do
more
things

However,technology
experts
say
there
is
a
major
way
that
5G
is
different
from
the
earlier
systems.
38
.It
will
affect
many
more
devices
and
industries
than
other
“G”
versions.
5G
will

by
connecting
sensor
networks.5G
is
also
expected
to
connect
self-driving
cars
and
support
new
technologies
involving
virtual
reality(虚拟现实).Higher
5G
speeds
could
also
permit
doctors
to
commonly
perform
remote
medical
operations.Factories
and
businesses
could
use
5G
technology
to
increase
automation
and
improve
the
collection
of
information.
39
.The
increased
data
flow
across
5G
networks
would
give
Internet
attackers
a
lot
more
possibilities
to
steal
and
misuse
data.In
addition,the
wider
use
of
a
5G
wireless
network
means
any
breakdown
of
the
system
would
have
more
widespread
and
severe
results.Such
difficulties
could
affect
public
safety.
40
,or
a
network
breakdown
could
cause
self-driving
vehicles
to
crash.
A.Why
is
5G
so
popular
B.What
is
this
technology
C.Every
