B
Like
many
children,young
Lotte
Reiniger
was
crazy
about
movies,which
at
the
time
were
a
completely
new
invention.She
taught
herself
how
to
cut
paper
silhouettes(剪影),of
people,animals,and
objects.“I
could
cut
silhouettes
almost
as
soon
as
I
could
manage
to
hold
a
pair
of
scissors,”
Reiniger
said.“I
could
paint,too,and
read...But
everybody
was
surprised
at
the
scissor
cuts.”
At
first,Reiniger
wanted
to
be
an
actress,but
her
skill
at
making
silhouettes
drew
the
attention
of
the
German
film
industry.Before
1927,films
were
silent.To
help
the
audience
understand
the
film,title
cards
with
printed
text
appeared
during
the
film
between
scenes.Reiniger
helped
create
title
cards
for
films,using
her
silhouettes.In
1918,she
was
asked
to
provide
stop-motion
animation(定格动画),in
which
objects
are
photographed(拍摄)
in
a
series
of
slightly
different
positions
and
then
replayed
at
high
speed
so
that
the
objects
appear
to
move
on
their
own,for
wooden
rats(老鼠)
in
the
movie
The
Pied
Piper
of
Hamelin.It
was
a
breakthrough
that
led
to
her
own
films,first
short
films
and
then,in
1926,The
Adventures
of
Prince
Achmed,the
first
full-length
animated
film.
Although
Reiniger
once
described
herself
as
“a
primitive(原始的)
caveman
artist”,her
work
is
not
simple.She
carefully
cut
bits
of
card,paper,and
wire,creating
wonderful
shapes,and
then
made
them
move
and
dance
by
hand.The
black
shapes
were
then
placed
on
colorful
backgrounds.She
made
more
than
60
films,around
40
of
which
survive,all
cut
by
her
own
hands.Most
were
based
on
timeless
fairy
tales,like
Cinderella
and
Sleeping
Beauty.
Reiniger
was
truly
a
pioneer
both
in
animation
and
for
women
in
film-making.Though
her
last
film
came
out
in
1980,her
style
is
still
influential
and
can
often
be
seen
in
today’s
films.
24.What
do
we
know
about
Reiniger’s
cuts?
A.People
silhouettes
were
her
favorite.
B.Painting
and
reading
helped
her
cuts.
C.She
had
a
gift
for
cutting
silhouettes.
D.Movies
excited
her
interest
in
silhouettes.
25.What
did
Reiniger
do
to
help
the
audience
understand
the
silent
films?
A.She
replayed
the
film
between
scenes.
B.She
cut
silhouettes
for
title
cards
in
films.
C.She
broke
up
long
films
into
shorter
ones.
D.She
made
photos
of
the
objects
in
the
film.
26.What
does
the
underlined
word
“It”
in
Paragraph
2
refer
to?
A.Creating
title
cards
for
films.
B.Making
wooden
rats
for
a
film.
C.Producing
The
Adventures
of
Prince
Achmed.
D.Bringing
stop-motion
animation
into
a
film.
27.Which
of
the
following
can
best
describe
Reiniger?
A.Gifted
and
generous.
B.Creative
and
productive.
C.Honest
and
self-confident.
D.Traditional
and
hard-working.

C
Music
is
not
just
a
set
of
sounds
and
rhythms.Its
influence
on
the
brain
is
much
deeper
than
any
other
human
experience.Keep
on
reading
to
know
all
those
amazing
powers
of
music.
A
recent
study
suggests
that
preterm(早产的)
babies
appear
to
experience
less
pain
and
feed
more
when
listening
to
music.Experts
led
by
Dr
Manoj
Kumar
of
the
University
of
Alberta,Canada,found
that
music
had
a
beneficial
effect
on
reducing
pain
for
preterm
babies
experiencing
painful
medical
tests.It
also
appeared
to
benefit
full-term
babies
during
operations.
Many
people
experiencing
brain
damage
have
speech
and
movement-related
problems.Music
can
help
recover
from
brain
injuries.As
a
different
and
effective
treatment,doctors
often
advise
such
patients
to
listen
to
good
music
to
improve
the
parts
of
the
brain
responsible
for
these
two
functions.When
people
with
neurological(神经的)
disorders
hear
a
musical
beat,it
helps
them
to
regain
a
balanced
walk.
Though
music
cannot
make
deafness
disappear,it
really
can
stave
off
the
loss
of
hearing.There
was
an
experiment
involving
163
people
where
74
were
musicians.Participants
were
asked
to
pass
some
listening
tests.Musicians
heard
the
sounds
better
than
non-musicians,and
this
difference
gets
clearer
with
age.This
means
that
a
70-year-old
musician
hears
better
than
a
50-year-old
non-musician,even
in
a
noisy
environment.
Besides,music
mends
a
broken
heart.It
is
not
about
a
thrown-away
love,but
about
a
heart
attack.The
matter
is
that
music
can
help
people
recover
from
a
heart
attack
or
heart
operation
by
reducing
blood
pressure,slowing
down
the
heartbeat
rate,and
reducing
anxiety.Listening
to
the
quality
music
produces
positive
emotions,improves
the
movement
of
blood,and
expands
blood
vessels,thus,promoting
quick
recovery
of
the
whole
cardiovascular(心血管的)
system.
28.How
does
music
affect
preterm
babies?
A.It
helps
reduce
their
pain.
B.It
helps
develop
their
potential
in
music.
C.It
helps
improve
their
hearing
systems.
D.It
helps
repair
their
neurological
systems.
29.What
does
the
underlined
phrase
“stave
off”
in
Paragraph
4
mean?
A.Lead
to.
B.Increase.
C.Prevent.
D.Break
into.
30.Why
can
music
mend
a
broken
heart?
A.It
has
a
positive
effect
on
human
body
systems’work.
B.It
can
help
people
prevent
diseases
caused
by
anxiety.
C.It
helps
make
a
person
feel
optimistic
about
life.
D.It
can
help
patients
recover
in
a
slow
way.
31.What
may
be
the
best
title
for
the
text?
A.Who
Can
Benefit
from
Music
B.The
Best
Time
to
Listen
to
Music
C.The

Quality
Music
D.How
Music
Affects
Our

D
Working
well
in
a
team
requires
full
cooperation.It’s
an
important
skill
for
almost
every
employee
to
have.Your
ability
to
do
your
job
is
dependent
upon
others
getting
your
work
done,and
others
depend
on
you
to
get
their
work
done.
Communicate
well.Lack
of
communication
is
one
of
the
biggest
reasons
of
a
team’s
failure.Seek
input
from
team
members
so
they
feel
like
a
valuable
part
of
the
munication
establishes
trust
among
team
members.In
addition,communicating
well
can
help
prevent
and
resolve
conflict.Meet
regularly
to
keep
members
involved
and
aware
of
your
work
progress.Post
decisions
where
everyone
in
the
team
can
see
them.
Be
flexible.In
teamwork,priorities
and
responsibility
can
change
instantly.Stay
ready
to
shift
focus.Training
team
members
to
be
able
to
do
parts
of
other
team
members’
jobs
can
be
a
valuable
part
of
teamwork;being
flexible
helps
to
build
appreciation
for
all
the
parts
of
the
team.
Meet
deadlines.Work
hard
to
ensure
you
meet
established
deadlines
when
you
work
in
a
team
environment.Others
are
depending
on
your
work.Negotiate
timelines
with
your
teammates
at
the
start
of
a
project.Doing
so
allows
you
to
have
a
say
in
how
work
gets
accomplished.
Establish
accountability.All
team
members
must
be
responsible
for
the
success
and
failure
of
the
project.Although
not
every
team
needs
a
leader,teams
require
a
formal
way
to
ensure
everyone
does
his
part.Try
using
meetings
to
report
on
progress.
Celebrate
accomplishments
and
encourage
the
team.Senior
executives
may
not
always
recognize
the
importance
of
some
team
members’
work.Share
congratulations
at
team
meetings
and
talk
about
whose
work
is
invaluable
in
helping
you
get
your
work
done.
32.What
can
you
conclude
from
the
first
paragraph?

your
work
is
separate.
B.Working

your
work
is
effective.
C.Being
a
member
of
a
team

your
work
is
independent.
D.Being
a
member
of
a
team
means
your
work
is
interdependent.
33.Which
of
the
following
deeds
does
NOT
contribute
to
effective
teamwork?
A.Keeping
silent
in
a
team
discussion.
B.Being
able
to
do
parts
of
others’
job.
C.Acknowledging
others’
work
publicly.
D.Holding
meetings

第二节 (共5小题;每小题2.5分,满分12.5分)
阅读下面短文,从短文后的选项中选出可以填入空白处的最佳选项。选项中有两项为多余选项。
Every
single
decision
we
make
shapes
our
current
reality.
36
So
if
you’re
unsatisfied
with
your
life
right
now,making
the
effort
to
change
your
decisions
will
be
the
key
to
creating
the
life
you
want
to
have
in
the
future.
Realize
the
power
of
decision
making.
37
When
you
decide
to
pick
up
a
cigarette,that
decision
might
result
in
you
picking
up
another
later
on.But
if
you
decide
not
to
smoke
that
first
cigarette
and
make
a
decision
to
focus
your
attention
somewhere
else,your
desire
will
eventually
weaken
and
you
will
become
smoke-free.
38
When
you
make
a
decision,act
on
mit
to
making
a
real
decision.What’s
a
real
decision?
It’s
when
you
decide
on
something,and
that
decision
is
carried
out
through
action.It’s
pointless
to
make
a
decision
in
your
head,but
not
doing
anything
about
it.That’s
the
same
as
not
making
a
decision
at
all.
Tell
others
about
your
decisions.
Sometimes
telling
other
people
what
we’re
going
to
do
will
make
us
follow
through.I’ve
been
trying
to
become
an
early
riser
but
waking
up
early
without
falling
back
asleep
felt
impossible.So
I
made
the
decision
to
tell
people
that
I
would
wake
up
at
6
a.m.and
stay
up.
39
Have
fun
making
decisions.
40
I
know
decision-making
might
not
be
a
fun
thing,but
when
you
do
it
often,you’ll
learn
a
lot
about
yourself
on
the
way,and
you’ll
become
more
confident,and
making
decisions
will
just
become
easier
that
you
won’t
even
think
about
it.
A.Enjoy
the
process.
B.Carry
your
decision
out.
C.Examine
the
decision
you
now
have.
D.Any
decision
you
make
causes
a
chain
of
events.
E.Within
two
days,I
was
able
to
accomplish
doing
this.
F.But
we
often
go
through
life
unaware
what
actions
we
are
taking.
G.Before
making
a
decision,you
have
to
understand
what
a
decision
does.
